St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford is expected to take more of a leadership role on offense in 2013, especially with RB Steven Jackson (Falcons) having moved on during the offseason. 'You know we saw it was coming (last season),' head coach Jeff Fisher said. 'Sam really took things over the second half of the season. We've got guys who can stand up and take charge and carry the torch. I'm not concerned about that. Sam, I was very impressed with how he handled things.'
Huddle Up: Fantasy-wise, Bradford hit career highs in 2012 with 3,702 yards and 21 TDs last season, but still only had 3 100-yard games and tied for 18th overall among QBs with 288 points (Huddle Performance scoring).

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford completed 7-of-21 passes for 141 yards, 2 TDs
and an interception Thursday night in his team's 17-3 win over the Arizona
Cardinals.
Huddle Up: Bradford and the offense was hurt by the loss of leading WR Danny Amendola to a
broken collarbone early in the second quarter, but the QB did account for the
game's only TDs with scoring passes to TE Lance Kendricks and rookie WR Chris
Givens. He also was intercepted in the end zone.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford completed 26 of 35 passes for 310 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. It was the fourth time in his career topping the 300-yard mark.
Huddle Up: Bradford leaned heavily on Danny Amendola for his numbers, but the fact remains that he looked solid--and a whole lot more like the quarterback who won the Rookie of the Year award two years ago than the sophomore slumper from 2011.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford's (ankle) ankle is still not 100 percent, and he continues to battle soreness from the ligaments being stretched. Bradford can still play through the ailment this season; however, when the season ends there is a definite possibility that a corrective procedure will be prescribed, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Depending on how the ankle withstands the rigors of the season, prolonged rest in the offseason could be prescribed rather than surgery.
Huddle Up: Disturbing news for Bradford owners and, for that matter, owners of any of the other Rams' offensive skill players. The QB missed 6 games last season -- seeing his TD passes fall from 18 to 6 -- and more missed games could be ahead as he tries to play through the injury. Kellen Clemens, A.J. Feeley and Tom Brandstater are the St. Louis backups, but it's going to be tough to have any fantasy confidence in any of them if Bradford misses any extended periods of time.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford (ankle) said he is still not 100 percent recovered from the ankle injury he suffered last season and it is something he is managing during practice. 'It's close,' Bradford said. 'I think it's as good as it's going to feel. It's something that we're managing right now. I've been able to take every snap so far without any setbacks and I think that's a positive sign.'
Huddle Up: This has to be a little troubling for the Rams and new coach Jeff Fisher, who are counting on a bounce-back season from the third-year QB. Bradford, who battled injury issues during his stellar career at Oklahoma, was limited to 10 games last year, and his stats took a precipitous dip, with his passing TDs dropping from 18 to 6. But unless he misses preseason game action, feel free to keep Bradford where he is in your rankings, and keep him in mind when looking for a QB sleeper.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford said the ankle injury he suffered last season has not bothered him during training camp at this point. Bradford was dealing with the injury during offseason workouts.
Huddle Up: Bradford's sophomore campaign was a hugh disappointment, but he's impressed thus far in training camp. An improved offensive line will give Bradford more time and a healthy ankle will allow him to move better as well. If the Rams can settle on a couple receivers and keep them healthy, Bradford could be a nice backup plan for your fantasy squad's quarterback position.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford did not play with the same confidence in the pocket last season as he did during his rookie campaign, according to Ron Jaworski. 'In 2011, Bradford - with very few exceptions - did not look like the same, confident pocket quarterback that I saw as a rookie,' Jaworski said. 'He was tentative in the pocket, a function of both erratic offensive line play and receivers that could not win on the outside. But I was troubled by Bradford's increasing tendency to anticipate the rush. I call that 'Cabin Fever.' And Bradford struggled with that.'
Huddle Up: You'd have 'Cabin Fever' too if you were playing quarterback with a severe high ankle sprain that was essentially a broken fibula. C'mon, Ron.

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford (ankle) said he is still experiencing soreness from the sprained ankle he suffered last season. 'It's getting there,' Bradford said. 'It seems to feel better every week. There's less soreness, more things I can do. I think it's definitely on the right track.'
Huddle Up: What? That injury was over seven months ago! Obviously he tore ligaments and probably had a fracture in there as well.
