Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden indicated the team could use two-tight end sets more often this season with TEs Jermaine Gresham and Tyler Eifert. Gruden said the team will still be using three-receiver sets like they did last season.

Huddle Up: Gresham (Cincy) and Eifert (Notre Dame) combined for 114 catches, 1,422 yards and 9 TDs in 2012 and gives Guden & Co. another offensive dimension to go along with the 3-WR sets and run-heavy looks utilizing BenJarvus Green-Ellis and/or second-round rookie Giovani Bernard.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham has been added to the AFC roster for the 2013 Pro Bowl replacing Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (knee).

Huddle Up: Gresham did hit career highs for catches (64) and yards (737) in 2012, but his TDs dipped from 6 to 5, and in all his season was a slight disappointment to fantasy owners who were no doubt expecting a little more.

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden compares TE Jermaine Gresham to New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski based on his beastly abilities on the football field and an uncanny feel for the game. 'Athletically and talent-wise, yes,' Gruden said. 'He's comparable.'

Huddle Up: The comparisons are flattering, but Gresham has more pressing matters currently at hand. The tight end sprained a knee during the team's second preseason game, and he has yet to return to practice. With Cincy not kicking off the regular season until Monday, Sept. 10, Gresham has an extra day of preparation, and it's looking like he may need it. If he's your top fantasy TE, it might be wise to get Plan B ready.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham is expected to be fine, according to head coach Marvin Lewis. Gresham limped off the field during the team's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Aug. 16. "He's going to be fine," Lewis said following the game.

Huddle Up: Gresham suffered a knee injury in the exhibition tilt, but the Bengals don't appear to be concerned so neither should you. He remains a quality option towards the end of the fantasy starting tight ends, with the upside of being a volume pass-catcher and quite possibly the second receiving option after A.J. Green in Cincinnati's West Coast offense.

Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham (knee) suffered a right knee injury during a preseason game Thursday in Atlanta, and did not return to the game.

Huddle Up: Gresham came up hobbling after a tackle-breaking catch and run in the first quarter, and it appeared he may have hyperextended his knee as he was brought down. No official word, though, was provided other than the third-year TE would not be returning to the contest. Gresham is an up-and-coming fantasy prospect after catching 56 passes for 596 yards and 6 TDs in 2011.
