Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook (arm) is expected to play in the team's Week 16 game. 'I'm expecting to play. I'm doing everything out here on the practice field to prepare to play,' Cook said Wednesday, Dec. 19. 'Doesn't matter if I start, come in on third down or on special teams, I just want to play.'
Huddle Up: Cook has been sidelined with a broken arm, but he's practiced this week and could be available on Sunday. He's the kind of big, physical cornerback who could present matchup problems for Andre Johnson--and after watching similar receivers such as Calvin Johnson and Brandon Marshall gouge the Vikings sans Cook they'll be extremely happy to get him back.

Minnesota Vikings CB Chris Cook suffered a broken wrist during the team's Week 8 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His status for the remainder of the season is in question due to the injury.
Huddle Up: The loss of Cook is notable because as a bigger, physical corner he would be matched up with the likes of Brandon Marshall and Calvin Johnson later in the season. The Bucs had success going up top to Mike Williams over Cook's replacements; you can expect future Vikings opponents to follow suit.
