Philadelphia Eagles WRs Riley Cooper and Arrelious Benn may have to compete for one roster spot during training camp. Both are bigger receivers who can block and play special teams.

Huddle Up: Benn, a second-round pick of the Bucs in 2010, was the odd-man out with Tampa's signing of Vincent Jackson last year, and he'll now try to unseat Cooper, who has 5 TD catches in only 10 career starts.

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired WR Arrelious Benn and a 2013 seventh-round pick from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Friday, March 15, in exchange for a 2013 sixth-round pick and a conditional pick in 2014.

Huddle Up: Benn is another piece of Chip Kelly's puzzle, a bigger target to offset the speedier Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are shopping WR Arrelious Benn. Benn was a second-round pick in 2010.

Huddle Up: The Bucs are flush at wideout with Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams so Benn is superfluous, though with quality wideouts available both in the draft and via free agency there won't be a particularly strong market. That said, there are WR-needy teams who might be willing to throw a late-round pick at the Bucs for a shot at working with Benn; that's better for Tampa Bay than getting nothing if they were to release Benn outright.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Arrelious Benn could be used as the slot receiver in Week 3 after the team released WR Preston Parker.

Huddle Up: Benn, who caught 31 passes for 445 yards and 3 TDs a season ago, is looking for his first target this season after a sprained knee washed out his first 2 games. The Bucs have been solid on the outside, with WRs Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams combining for 14 catches, 246 yards and 3 TDs so far, but they could use more production from the slot and inside the numbers.
