Huddle Up: It was certainly a star-crossed, injury-filled run for Hardesty in Cleveland as the 2010 2nd-round pick rushed for only 537 yards, including a single 100-yard game, and 1 TD in 22 games after missing his entire rookie season.

Huddle Up: With Hardesty out and Dion Lewis a candidate for short-term IR after suffering a broken leg in Thursday's preseason game, Brandon Jackson is now the favorite to be the primary handcuff for Trent Richardson owners.

Huddle Up: At this point no injury would surprise us when it comes to Hardesty. Dion Lewis has looked good in his absence, which means Hardesty's days as a sleeper/handcuff are numbered.

Huddle Up: Hardesty's inability to stay healthy has cost him numerous opportunities to stake a claim to carries in the Cleveland backfield. And with Trent Richardson as the feature back and Dion Lewis making waves as a change-of-pace guy, Hardesty may soon find himself looking for a new team's injury report to land on.

Huddle Up: Another week, another injury issue with Hardesty, who already is in real danger of losing the No. 2 RB job to newcomer Dion Lewis.

Huddle Up: Hardesty has been unable to stay healthy throughout his NFL career, and it looks like it may wind up costing him his job. At best he's a backup to Trent Richardson, and one who is marginally effective when given playing time anyway.
