Huddle Up: The Lions will throw the ball infinitely more than Tate's former team did in Seattle, so that alone should increase his opportunities. And while he's running as the WR2, playing Calvin Johnson's wingman should yield plenty of chances to face single coverage. In other words, fantasy owners should join Tate in expecting big--or at least improved--numbers this season.

Huddle Up: Tate's injury was never thought to be serious. He has a good opportunity to put up career-best numbers in Detroit's offense this season.

Huddle Up: Tate should have time to carve out his wingman role opposite Calvin Johnson, assuming his undisclosed injury doesn't keep him on the sidelines for an extended period.

Huddle Up: The Lions throw more in one game than Tate's former team threw in a month, so even if he's the second option for Matthew Stafford he'll see plenty of balls in Detroit this season.

Huddle Up: Tate will be trying to repeat Nate Burleson's 2010 & 2011 stat-line feats as he's been the only No. 2 wideout to top 40 catches in a season playing alongside Calvin Johnson over the past 6 years.

Huddle Up: The Jets are searching far and wide for offensive playmaker help, and Tate will be an option if his pricetag falls out of the Seahawks' range. Fellow Seattle WR Sidney Rice could also be an option.

Huddle Up: Tate had a career-high 64 receptions for 898 yards and 5 TDs in leading the Seahawks, but Seattle most certainly isn't going to overpay for Tate given the other similarly talented wideouts on the roster.

Huddle Up: Tate's big grab was an 80-yard catch and scoring run in which he taunted St. Louis defenders while sprinting down the sideline. The taunts and the resulting unsportsmanlike penalty didn't garner Tate many points but his recent surge has translated into some fantasy points as he has notched 19 of his 32 catches and all 3 of his TD grabs over the past 3 games. Tate could be in line for even more work if fellow WR Sidney Rice's knee injury -- suffered in the second quarter Monday night -- proves serious.
