Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate tweaked his ankle during the team's Week 8 game.

Huddle Up: Tate actually posted a solid outing in Week 8, leading the Seahawks in catches and yardage with seven catches and 64 yards. Fantasy teams banking on Tate will have to check the practice reports to track his availability for this week.

The NFL admitted that there was an officiating error on the final play of the game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks Monday, Sept. 24, but the outcome of the game will stand. The error that the NFL says was missed was Seahawks WR Golden Tate's pushoff of Packers CB Sam Shields in the end zone during the final play, not the game-winning touchdown catch.

Huddle Up: Despite the fiasco and all the surrounding national hubbub, all fantasy results which turned on the late TD pass from Russell Wilson to Tate will stand as well. It's all part of the flawed product in place right now in the NFL.

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate caught 3 passes for 62 yards, including the game-winning 24-yard scoring catch on the final play in a 14-12 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. The final catch was ruled to be a simultaneous catch by Tate and Packers' safety M.D. Jennings in the end zone and a replay review upheld the TD.

Huddle Up: Tate also accounted for the Seahawks' earlier TD on a 41-yard second-quarter scoring reception in a defensive tussle. Tate only had 3 catches for 26 yards entering the game, but with Doug Baldwin an injury inactive and Braylon Edwards held without a catch, Tate stepped up when rookie QB Russell Wilson and his team needed him most.

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate (knee) is expected to start at split end in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys. He was inactive in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Tate's return muddles an already murky wideout situation in Seattle with Braylon Edwards, Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin already sharing targets. Rice, if healthy, and Edwards might still be the safest fantasy bets out of the bunch.

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate (knee) took part in a full practice session Wednesday, Sept. 12.

Huddle Up: Tate was listed as a starter coming out of training camp, but he missed Week 1. If he returns, he'll further muddle the Seattle WR situation with Braylon Edwards, Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin and Ben Obomanu already in the mix.

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate (knee) was unable to practice Monday, Sept. 3, due to a knee injury.

Huddle Up: Between Tate's knee and fellow wideout Doug Baldwin's balky hamstring that kept him out of all 4 preseason contests, it could lead to Week 1 starts for veterans Sidney Rice and Braylon Edwards.

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate (hand) is not participating in organized team activities because of a broken hand. The team expects Tate to be ready for the start of training camp.

Huddle Up: Not a significant concern... Now, if you subscribe to fantasy football's "3rd year Breakout theory" then Tate should be at the top of your sleeper list. With Sidney Rice penciled in as the flanker and Doug Baldwin in the slot, Tate has a chance to be the starting split end. His competition isn't too fierce: Mike Williams is recovering from a nasty broken leg, Ben Obomanu is a career reserve, Ricardo Lockette is an undrafted free agent, and Deon Butler is simply too small.
