Huddle Up: Aside from his second season (2011) with the Ravens when he had 54 catches for 528 yards and 5 TDs, Dickson didn't top 25 receptions, 273 yards or a TD in his other 3 campaigns, and now he'll be playing behind Greg Olsen, the Panthers' clear No. 1 passing-game target now that WR Steve Smith has left for Baltimore. In short, a change of scenery should do nothing to alter your minimal fantasy expectations for Dickson.

Huddle Up: Dickson should be the second option for Joe Flacco, giving him some sneaky

Huddle Up: Remember that Dickson was a top-20 fantasy tight end while splitting time with Dennis Pitta two seasons ago. He has decent upside given there aren't many receiving weapons on that Ravens offense. Good to see he is healthy to start the season.

Huddle Up: Limited or not, it was a good sign that Dickson was able to do anything at all, and it now opens the door for him playing in the regular-season opener in a little more than 2 weeks.

Huddle Up: Good news for Dickson and the Ravens, as Dallas Clark and Visanthe Shiancoe are serving as tight end placeholders for the moment in Baltimore. Dickson's fantasy value has dipped to the point that you can grab him late and hope he lives up to preseason (but post-Dennis Pitta injury) expectations)--and if not, it's a low-cost investment.

Huddle Up: Hamstring injuries due tend to linger, so expect the Ravens to err on the side of caution in brining Dickson back. Meanwhile, veterans Visanthe Shiancoe and Dallas Clark will hold down the tight end fort in Baltimore.

Huddle Up: Who? Fantasy owners might hear the name Matt Furstenburg a bit this preseason, but don't buy into it. Dickson will reportedly be back before the season starts.

Huddle Up: Joe Flacco, for one, is hoping his coach his right as he's already heading into 2013 without a combined 126 completions, 1,590 yards and 11 TDs (WR Anquan Boldin & TE Dennis Pitta) from this past season.

Huddle Up: The hits keep on coming for that Baltimore offense. A few weeks isn't terrible, but the Ravens are dangerously thin at tight end. There is no real fantasy value for Visanthe Shiancoe or any other tight end. This hurts Joe Flacco's fantasy value even more, and perhaps Torrey Smith's as well. Get better soon, Ed.

Huddle Up: Unsettling news for the Ravens at a position they can least afford another injury with starter Dennis Pitta (hip) already shelved for the season.
