New York Jets WR Eric Decker had just two catches for 18 yards in the team's Week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins Monday, Dec. 1. Decker has been targeted 10 or more times just four times this year.

Huddle Up: Hey, that's life going from Peyton Manning to the run-heavy Jets, who put the ball in the air only 13 times Monday night. They'll be better days for Decker, but, overall, you can't say you weren't warned.

  • Posted: 11/19/2014 9:44pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) said Wednesday, Nov. 19, his hamstring improved over the bye week. 'I feel good, I feel good physically, more so mentally,' Decker said. 'You step away for a bit and get a refresh, a restart.'

Huddle Up: Decker has been dealing with a bad hamstring all season. It sounds like he's finally healthy but it may not matter much in the Jets offense. He'll be a WR3/4 this week against Buffalo.

  • Posted: 10/14/2014 7:52pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) was limited in practice Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Huddle Up: Nothing really new here as the Jets' receiving yardage leader should be good to go Thursday night in Foxborough.

  • Posted: 10/13/2014 8:45pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) would've been limited Monday, Oct. 13. The team did not practice Monday, but was required to provide the status of injured players as if they had practiced.

Huddle Up: Decker played Sunday after sitting out Week 5 and was productive, catching 6 of his 10 targets for 54 yards and a TD. He appeared to get through the game without aggravating his injury and figures to be ready to face Darrelle Revis and the Pats on Thursday night.

  • Posted: 10/10/2014 4:13pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) is questionable for the team's Week 6 game.

Huddle Up: Decker has been a limited practice participant all week and appears certain to be a game-time call Sunday morning. Even if he does play, though, start him at your own risk.

  • Posted: 10/9/2014 5:56pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 9.

Huddle Up: That's 2 straight days of limited work for Decker, who's hoping to return and play Sunday against his former team. Fantasy GMs, however, should start him with caution as the hammy could act up again at any time.

  • Posted: 10/8/2014 8:49pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) has a 'pretty good' chance of returning to action in Week 6 against the Denver Broncos after missing Week 5.

Huddle Up: It's a good news, bad news situation for Decker if he plays. The good news is the Jets will likely have to throw the ball a lot this week. The bad news is the current state of who is throwing him the ball. Decker will be a low end WR2 this week against Denver if he's active.

  • Posted: 10/8/2014 2:05pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) was in pads for practice Wednesday, Oct. 8, but did not participate in position drills. Decker ran sprints and did some cutting on the sidelines. Decker is expected to play in Week 6 unless he suffers a setback.

Huddle Up: The WR's fantasy owners are going to have closely monitor the proceedings and practice reports this week as his hammy hasn't been able to live up to hopes and expectations in recent weeks, including this past Sunday when he sat out the loss in San Diego.

  • Posted: 10/3/2014 1:14pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) did not practice again Friday, Oct. 3, and said he will be a game-time decision in Week 5 against the San Diego Chargers.

Huddle Up: Not good news for Decker's fantasy owners -- especially since the Jets are playing in the late-afternoon time slot this week. Get another WR in your lineup and plan to use him unless there's a sudden and marked reversal of fortune in Decker's status over the next 48 hours.

  • Posted: 10/2/2014 2:44pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) left practice early Thursday, Oct. 2, because of hamstring tightness. Head coach Rex Ryan said the team hopes Decker will be able to play in Week 5.

Huddle Up: Just like a hammy to act up again just when it's appearing somewhat manageable. Definitely see what Decker's outlook is after Friday's practice, and you're also probably going to have to monitor the situation before kickoff Sunday as well.

  • Posted: 9/30/2014 10:45am ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) feels better than he did this time last week, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

Huddle Up: It's a good sign that Decker made it through last week's game without aggravating the injury, and that he seems to be ahead of schedule compared to previous weeks. Seems like it's safe to plug him into fantasy lineups without concern of him exiting the game prematurely due to the injury.

  • Posted: 9/26/2014 9:57pm ET

Updating previous reports, New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) says he will play in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions Sunday, Sept. 28, after practicing for the first time all week Friday, Sept. 26. Head coach Rex Ryan expects Decker to play, too, but said he could be limited.

Huddle Up: Decker started last week but couldn't make it through the game. Decker is a risky WR3 against Detroit if he plays. Jeremy Kerley is the Jets receiver with the most fantasy value right now until Decker proves he's healthy.

  • Posted: 9/26/2014 2:02pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) practiced Friday, Sept. 26, and said he definitely expects to play in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. He said this week is night and day compared to last week.

Huddle Up: It must be noted that Decker didn't re-injure the hammy Monday night -- simply exiting the game as a precaution before he did. That said, though, what's not to also say that the same scenario couldn't play out this week with the always tricky injury so deploy him with fantasy caution.

  • Posted: 9/25/2014 2:26pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring)took part in positional drills but sat out the rest of the team's regular practice Thursday, Sept. 25.

Huddle Up: Friday should be more telling, but either way it's likely headed toward another game-time decision Sunday.

  • Posted: 9/23/2014 4:02pm ET

Updating previous reports, New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) said he didn't re-injure his hamstring Monday, Sept. 22, but it just wouldn't loosen up. He said he pulled himself from the game instead of risking further injury. '(I ran) a few plays and decided it was best to step aside and pull myself out. I gradually tightened up,' Decker said. 'It was to the point where it wasn't loosening up, and instead of doing something stupid and really hurting something down the road I decided to pull myself and give myself a chance.'

Huddle Up: Sounds like a prudent preventative measure, but Decker now has short week to try to get ready for the Week 4 tilt against the Lions. See if things improve in practice over the next few days.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 10:51pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker left the team's Week 3 game Monday, Sept. 22, after re-aggravating a hamstring injury and is questionable to return.

Huddle Up: Decker gave it a go but didn't last a half, re-aggravating the injury in the second quarter and hadn't returned as of late in the third quarter. He caught his only target for 19 yards, while Jeremy Kerley took over as Geno Smith's top target, hauling in a 19-yard scoring pass in the second quarter.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 7:55pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) is active for the team's Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears Monday, Sept. 22.

Huddle Up: Go ahead and roll with Decker who leads the Jets in all major receiving categories and provides a major boost for those starting QB Geno Smith.

  • Posted: 9/22/2014 6:51pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) said he felt good while working out before the game and expects to play in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Those owners holding out hope for Decker should wait to make sure he's active but it looks like he'll play. Decker will be a WR2 tonight against the Bears if he's in the lineup.

  • Posted: 9/20/2014 5:06pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) is questionable for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Decker will be a game-time decision but the fact he plays Monday night makes him a risky start for fantasy owners this week. Decker would be a WR3 if he plays but owners need to have someone like Jeremy Kerley waiting in the wings if they roll the dice.

  • Posted: 9/18/2014 3:52pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 18.

Huddle Up: Not a huge surprise after the hammy tightened up and forced the WR to leave late in last Sunday's game. The good news is, though, that the Jets have an extra day with their Week 3 contest not until Monday night, and Decker will try to give it go in practices Friday and Saturday.

  • Posted: 9/17/2014 6:04pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) did not undergo an MRI for a hamstring injury, and does not believe he tore his hamstring. Decker believes he suffered an aggravation of a training camp injury.

Huddle Up: Decker didn't practice Wednesday and his fantasy owners are going to have to hope he can get on field later in the week to have a decent shot at playing Monday night.

  • Posted: 9/15/2014 10:22am ET

Updating previous reports, New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) injured the same hamstring that bothered him in training camp Sunday, Sept. 14. However, this injury is believed to be more severe and will have an MRI.

Huddle Up: No bueno for a wideout to have a troublesome hammy. If you're banking on Decker for fantasy help you'll need to keep tabs on the situation as if the injury is severe he could be down for a while.

  • Posted: 8/19/2014 8:10pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (quadriceps) is expected to play in the team's preseason game Friday, Aug. 22.

Huddle Up: Decker's preseason totals so far include 1 game played, 2 targets and 2 receptions for 12 yards. In other words, the free-agent signee can use a lengthy run with Geno Smith and the first-team offense Friday to get in sync.

  • Posted: 8/5/2014 6:32pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring, foot) will play in the team's preseason opener, according to head coach Rex Ryan. Decker has been dealing with a sore hamstring and a foot injury.

Huddle Up: So Decker and the starters will play -- but probably only for a series or three -- Thursday night in Indy. The key, of course, with a testy hammy is not aggravating a minor tweak into something bigger.

  • Posted: 8/4/2014 5:50pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring, foot) has been dealing with a sore hamstring and has a foot injury, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

Huddle Up: The injuries aren't believed to be serious and you can expect the Jets to be extra cautious with Decker given their lack of pass catchers. Decker will eat up targets in New York this season but how consistent the quarterback play is for the Jets will ultimately decide his fantasy success. Decker currently has an ADP of Round 8.

  • Posted: 8/4/2014 9:27am ET

The New York Jets expect WR Eric Decker to be doubled up a lot this season, so some plays have been devised where Decker and WR Jeremy Kerley will line up on the same side in order to increase Decker's effectiveness.

Huddle Up: Doubtful that teams will opt to double Kerley over Decker, so it may be Kerley's effectiveness that gets increased. What the Jets need is for Chris Johnson to provide a threat in the running game so play action passes work and for Stephen Hill to develop on the opposite side to take some of the pressure off of Decker. A big contribution from rookie tight end Jace Amaro wouldn't hurt, either.

  • Posted: 8/1/2014 9:52pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker (hamstring) is expected to play in the team's scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 2. Decker was limited during practice Friday, Aug. 1, because of a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: It's good news that Decker is healthy enough to play in the scrimmage. He currently has an ADP of Round 8. If Geno Smith improves in his second season, Decker could be a steal that low considering the amount of targets he's expected to see this year.

  • Posted: 8/1/2014 2:33pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker is dealing with a minor hamstring issue, according to head coach Rex Ryan.

Huddle Up: Yeah, another camp, another player, another ailing hammy. Keep posted to see if the FA wideout can get past it fairly quickly.

  • Posted: 6/4/2014 4:48pm ET

New York Jets WR Eric Decker is skipping organized team activities this week in order to attend the Country Music Awards.

Huddle Up: Probably not the way the Jets would prefer their shiny new free agent wide receiver would prioritize things, but this shouldn't be a major issue in regards to Decker learning the offense or earning a key spot in the Jets' receiver rotation.

  • Posted: 3/13/2014 1:53pm ET

Updating a previous report, the New York Jets and WR Eric Decker (Broncos) agreed to a five-year, $36.26 million deal Wednesday, March 12. The deal includes $15 million in guaranteed money, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Decker is a quality wideout who has averaged 86 receptions, 1,176 yards and 12 TDs over the past 2 seasons catching passes from Peyton Manning, but now he switches to second-year QB Geno Smith and Jets, whose leading WR (Jeremy Kerley) caught only 43 passes for 523 yards and 3 scores last season. In other words, Decker's fantasy value has taken a decided turn for the worse.

  • Posted: 2/27/2014 12:51pm ET

The Indianapolis Colts are among the teams that have interest in Denver Broncos impending free-agent WR Eric Decker, should he hit the market.

Huddle Up: Decker will have plenty of suitors if he hits the open market as expected, and the Colts would certainly be a good fit given their WR needs following Reggie Wayne's injury last season.

  • Posted: 2/22/2014 8:53pm ET

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway said impending free-agent WR Eric Decker likely will hit the free-agent market this offseason.

Huddle Up: This is Elway's way of acknowledging that some other team will pay Decker like a WR1 while Denver already has a WR1 and couldn't afford to match such a deal. Of course, Decker could decide that the advantages to catching balls from Peyton Manning outweigh getting paid like a WR1, but that's a less likely scenario.

  • Posted: 2/18/2014 6:55pm ET

Denver Broncos impending free-agent WR Eric Decker said he would welcome a call from the team if they can get on the same page, but said he has to do what is best for his family.

Huddle Up: All indications are the Broncos will allow Decker to hit the open market, and that most likely means he's as good as gone as he figures to command WR1 money -- something the Broncos aren't likely to match.

  • Posted: 2/9/2014 4:52pm ET

Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker said he does not know what his future holds. 'I would love to come back. I don't know my future either,' Decker said.

Huddle Up: Decker is in line for a rather sizable bump in pay wherever he lands, but there remains some question as to whether he's fully suited to be a clear-cut No. 1 WR.

  • Posted: 2/2/2014 5:54pm ET

The Denver Broncos plan to allow WR Eric Decker to test the free-agent market in March. The team fears they may lose him in free agency.

Huddle Up: Something to keep an eye on in the Super Bowl as Decker could bump up his market value exponentially with a big performance on the national stage.
