Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford did not participate in organized team activities Monday, June 3. Ford injured his hamstring during practice last week.
Huddle Up: There's pretty much a template for Jacoby Ford news, kind of like a Mad Libs. "Jacoby Ford missed (insert event) with a (insert body part) injury". And while it would be fun to go with something like "Jacoby Ford missed Spring Break 1997 with a pinkie toe injury", if he's still missing time in training camp it won't be nearly as funny. But for now, "Jacoby Ford missed a Wham! concert with a lower lip injury" still has its charm. Go ahead, give it a try!

The Oakland Raiders likely will give WR Jacoby Ford a chance to
contribute on offense this season if his foot injury has healed. The
team could consider releasing him if he continues to struggle with
the foot injury.
Huddle Up: The Raiders love Ford's speed and kick-return abilities, but it's
hard to outrun anyone on crutches or wearing a walking boot. Foot
fractures sidelined the WR for all of 2012 and half of the 2011
season, and he's going to have to show he's healthy in training
camp, if not sooner.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford said he is completely recovered from
his foot injury and will be ready to participate once the team's
minicamp begins.
Huddle Up: Foot fractures nixed Ford's 2012 season and all but 8 games of his
2011 campaign, leaving the wideout/return specialist with a lot of
ground to make up.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford had his DUI charges dropped stemming from his March 14 arrest.
Huddle Up: Just because the charges have been dropped doesn't mean Ford won't get a stern talking-to from the Commissioner, but lack of charges does suggest there won't be a corresponding suspension. So you'll just have to wait for Ford's inevitable injury to remove him from fantasy consideration.

The Oakland Raiders placed WR Jacoby Ford (foot) on the season-ending Injured Reserve list Saturday, Sept. 15.
Huddle Up: Another tough break for Ford and the Raiders after the WR/return specialist missed half of the 2011 season with a foot fracture.

Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said that WR Jacoby Ford underwent successful surgery Wednesday, Sept. 12, to repair damage from a 'Lisfranc' condition in his left foot.
Huddle Up: Ford apparently caught the condition from Darren McFadden, who missed much of last year with a Lisfranc sprain. With Ford sidelined the Raiders will look to Denarius Moore, Justin Criner, and Rod Streater opposite Darrius Heyward-Bey in their receiver rotation.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford (foot) is expected to miss "significant" time after having foot surgery, according to head coach Dennis Allen.
Huddle Up: It looks like WR Derek Hagan, signed last week as a free agent, is in Oakland to stay. Meanwhile, the run of bad luck continues for Ford, who was limited to eight games last season with a foot injury. It hurts the Raiders even more on special teams as the speedy Ford was slated to be Oakland's primary return man.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford (foot) said Tuesday, Sept. 4, his status for Week 1 is uncertain. "Just kind of up in the air at this point," Ford said. "I just have to see what the coaches and the training staff think." Ford did some jogging during the team's practice session.
Huddle Up: Ford is nursing a foot injury that will limit him in Week 1 if not rule him out entirely. Meanwhile, Rod Streater will see additional reps with the first team; Justin Criner, who returned to practice earlier this week after missing time with an ankle injury, could also factor into the mix opposite Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Oakland Raiders WR Jacoby Ford (foot) walked onto the practice field Thursday, Aug. 23, with a walking boot on his left foot.
Huddle Up: Ford's absence as he recovers from a sprained foot affects the team's WR depth but is more of an issue on special teams where the speedster is being counted on as the Raiders' top return specialist. Darrius Heyward-Bey and Denarius Moore remain the only Oakland receivers with fantasy value.

Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer said he has complete faith in WR Jacoby Ford despite Ford dropping two of the three passes thrown to him during the preseason game Monday, Aug. 13. 'I have complete faith in him and he'll catch the next one. I told him right after it happened I'm coming right back at you to give you another chance. I know the next ball I throw to him, if it's a bad ball he'll go up and make a play on it and make a play for me,' Palmer said.
Huddle Up: The Raiders love Ford's speed, but his track record as a receiver is lacking. He's totalled only 44 catches and 3 receiving TDs in his first 2 pro seasons, and his production actually dropped off between his first and second season, recording 6 fewer receptions and 191 fewer receiving yards. He's currently running with the 2nd team on Oakland's depth chart, but his top value might be as a kickoff returner after averaging 31 yards on 11 returns last season, including a 101-yard TD.
