San Francisco 49ers RB Anthony Dixon stands a good chance of making the final roster, according to offensive coordinator Greg Roman. "I think we can look to (Dixon) to have his most productive season as a Niner," Roman said. Dixon seemed hopelessly buried on the depth chart at running back when training camp began, but he has taken advantage of recent injuries at the position and has strung together two solid preseason games.
Huddle Up: Dixon joins Frank Gore, Brandon Jacobs, Kendall Hunter, and LaMichael James in a serious logjam in the 49er backfield. With all expected to play a role in San Francisco's offense it'll be difficult for any of them to garner enough touches to be a significant fantasy factor.
