Seattle Seahawks TE Anthony McCoy has cleared waivers and has been placed on Injured Reserve.
Huddle Up: McCoy was slated to be the Seahawks' TE2, which wasn't going to yield much in the way of fantasy production anyway.

The Seattle Seahawks waived injured TE Anthony McCoy (torn Achilles') and signed T Jake Bscherer Tuesday, May 28. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Huddle Up: McCoy, who had 18 catches for 291 yards and 3 TDs last season, is expected to clear waivers and land on Seattle's injured list.

Seattle Seahawks TE Anthony McCoy suffered a torn Achilles' tendon during organized team activities earlier this week, and he has undergone surgery to fix it. He'll be out six to nine months. McCoy had 18 catches for 291 yards and three touchdowns last year.
Huddle Up: McCoy was battling Zach Miller and rookie Luke Willson for playing time; now he'll miss most if not all of the 2013 season.
