New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 14 of his 22 passes for 197 yards and three touchdowns in a 40-16 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 14.

Huddle Up: The Redskins were a disaster on offense with Mark Sanchez leading the way, and Manning took advantage of great field position in the blowout win. Don't bank on a repeat performance against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/3/2018 9:44am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will start again in Week 14 versus the Washington Redskins, according to head coach Pat Shurmur, who added there is a 'good chance' Kyle Lauletta will be his backup again this week.

Huddle Up: While Manning has been better this year than last, the Giants aren't exactly winning games because of him either. Make no mistake, the clock is ticking. Lauletta may not be the future at the position for the Giants, but the team owes him an opportunity to show what he has as soon as the 4-8 Giants are officially eliminated from playoff consideration.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 10:36pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 26 of 37 passes for 297 yards, a touchdown and an interception against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Nov. 25.

Huddle Up: Manning played reasonably well Sunday, though after tossing five TDs and no INTs over his last two games the veteran threw one of each on Sunday against a depleted Eagles secondary. The loss also effectively ended any lingering hopes of a playoff run. That kind of letdown can be tough, especially when you have a rested, physical Bears team coming to town next week.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 11:20pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 17-for-18 for 231 yards and two touchdowns during the team's Week 11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Huddle Up: After tossing eight touchdown passes over the club's first eight games, Manning has thrown five in the last six days. Sure, Tampa's defense might give up 30 points to Archie at this stage, but the G-Men's offensive resurgence at least merits some attention. With the free-falling and injury-depleted Eagles up next, Manning might actually be an option next Sunday.

  • Posted: 11/17/2018 8:06pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning faces the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, and the Buccaneers have allowed an NFL-high 23 touchdown passes this season.

Huddle Up: Manning isn't having a great year, but he was able to take advantage of friendly matchups against Carolina and San Francisco, tossing multiple scores in both games. Tampa Bay might have the worst secondary in the league, so Manning could be a sneaky streaming option.

  • Posted: 11/12/2018 8:30pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 19-for-31 for 188 yards and three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Manning posted his lowest yardage total of the season but had a season-high three touchdowns during the game. He should have some success next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in very deep leagues.

  • Posted: 11/6/2018 9:08am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will start in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Pat Shurmur said Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Huddle Up: It's been nothing short of a struggle this year for Eli, who enters the week ranked 27th among QBs in average fantasy points per game. He remains well down the list of standard-size league streaming QB options, even with four teams on bye and getting a favorable matchup against the 49ers' defense.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 2:55pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 30-for-47 for 316 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Washington Redskins in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Manning has thrown for at least 300 yards in three of the last four games but also has four touchdowns and five interceptions during that span. He will be facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10 but probably would not be a strong starting option.

  • Posted: 10/23/2018 2:04pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will continue to man the Giants at quarterback with the trade deadline a week away, according to head coach Pat Shurmur.

Huddle Up: Manning managed his best outing of the year in Monday night's close loss, throwing for 399 yards and a touchdown. He's somewhat surprisingly averaging 294 passing yards per game, but his inconsistent play is too risky to put into a starting lineup.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 8:18pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 27-of-38 passes for 399 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 7 loss against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday, Oct. 22.

Huddle Up: Manning rolled up big yardage, but it wasn't a great fantasy stat line and the 23-20 score isn't indicative of how ugly this game was. He'll look for more consistency in Week 8 against the visiting Washington Redskins.

  • Posted: 10/16/2018 9:20am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning was the subject of a question posed Tuesday, Oct. 16, to team owner John Mara at the league's fall meetings. 'When you're 1-5, it generally means everybody has to play better,' Mara told NFL Network. Mara added, though, that he will leave it up to the team's coaches as to whether a quarterback change is needed.

Huddle Up: With six TD passes, four interceptions and two fumbles so far, Eli ranks 23rd among fantasy QBs, and it's also affecting the rest of the skill players, most notably outspoken WR Odell Beckham Jr. The team's lingering pass-protection issues up front certainly haven't helped, but if the offensive and won-loss struggles continue, don't be surprised if rookie Kyle Lauletta gets a shot under center.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 10:22am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will remain the team's starter, head coach Pat Shurmur said Friday, Oct. 12. 'We believe in Eli,' Shurmur said.

Huddle Up: Manning had been OK with six TDs and one interception in Weeks 2-5 but struggled on a national stage in a 24-of-43, 281-yard, no-TD, one-interception outing Thursday night against the Eagles. He also continues to receive less-than-stellar protection with Philly racking up four sacks and 13 QB hits in the game. N.Y. doesn't even have Geno Smith anymore with Alex Tanney and rookie Kyle Lauletta backing up Eli so Giants fans and Odell Beckham owners are likely going to have to ride out the storm for a while.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 8:57pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 24 of his 43 passes for 281 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in a 34-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He was also sacked four times.

Huddle Up: It was the first time Manning has been held out of the end zone this season, but these days, he is only producing QB2 numbers in his better outings. That seems unlikely to change with the Giants' current roster.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 5:15pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 22-of-36 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 5 loss against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: This marked Manning first 300-yard game of the season, although his completion percentage was actually his lowest of 2018. The Giants also hit the 30-point plateau for the first time since Jan. 3, 2016. The offense is on the upswing with pieces like Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham Jr., etc. Manning is still a decent QB2, with some fringe fantasy appeal as a low-end QB1 in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 2:17pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 25-for-29 for 297 yards and two touchdowns against the Houston Texans in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Manning has played well over the last two games and should have a favorable matchup next week against the New Orleans Saints. He could be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/17/2018 5:36pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning was sacked six times in the Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys, the highest amount since Oct. 12, 2014 against the Philadelphia Eagles when he was also sacked six times.

Huddle Up: The offensive line was a disaster, and the team was unable to run the ball at all. Manning passed, dumping it off 14 times to Saquon Barkley on a lot of short stuff as he ran for his life. If Manning is going to survive the season the offensive line is going to have to come together quickly. If you own fantasy stock in Manning, don't expect a lot of downfield stuff in the near future.

  • Posted: 9/17/2018 5:14am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning was 33-for-44 for 279 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 2 loss against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, Sept. 17.

Huddle Up: The numbers were decent from a fantasy perspective, but he was sacked six times. He'll face another swarm of pressure in Week 3 against the Houston Texans, where Manning will be a QB2.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 2:48pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning went 23-for-37 for 224 yards and one interception against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Manning was facing a tough Jaguars defense and was not able to find anyone in the end zone. He should have an easier matchup next week against the Dallas Cowboys but is not a strong starting option.

  • Posted: 3/18/2018 6:47pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning earned a $5 million roster bonus Sunday, March 18, according to a source.

Huddle Up: The Giants had already publicly committed to Manning, so this was no surprise. He still has some solid weapons to throw to and should be a serviceable backup option for fantasy owners next year.

  • Posted: 2/28/2018 10:39pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning still has 'years' left as a starting quarterback in the NFL, according to head coach Pat Shurmur.

Huddle Up: This sentiment would seem to indicate the Giants are indeed drafting running back Saquon Barkley with the No. 2 overall draft pick. It also points to New York sticking with Manning as their signal-caller. Despite seeing a drop-off in his stats, the 14-year veteran had a legitimate excuse, dealing with significant injuries around him to key players, not to mention a bad offensive line. He can serve as an acceptable backup in one-quarterback formats.

  • Posted: 2/2/2018 11:19am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning said he would not have a problem with the Giants if they decide to select a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Huddle Up: Manning should be the starting quarterback for another year or two, but the Giants likely will take a quarterback at some point during the draft. Owners should consider Manning a No. 2 fantasy quarterback next season.

  • Posted: 1/26/2018 8:40am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning 'has years left,' according to head coach Pat Shurmur, who says he's excited to work with him.

Huddle Up: Manning's destination in 2018 is to be determined, but anywhere he goes, he's limited to QB2 status in fantasy.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 10:23am ET

New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman reaffirmed his desire for QB Eli Manning to return to the team next season during a meeting with him earlier this month, according to sources. Gettleman also told Manning that the team will continue to scout the quarterbacks in the 2018 NFL Draft and compare them to QB Davis Webb.

Huddle Up: It appears like Manning will be the Giants' starting quarterback for at least one more season. He finished this season with 3,468 yards and 19 touchdowns but played most of the season without his top two receivers. He has the chance to be a solid No. 2 fantasy quarterback in 2018.

  • Posted: 12/29/2017 5:42pm ET

New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman said he is moving forward as if QB Eli Manning will be the starting quarterback next season but that does not rule out the possibility of the Giants selecting a quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Huddle Up: Manning has posted some decent numbers this season even though he lost both of his starting receivers to season-ending injuries. Owners should monitor the situation to see if Manning does stay with the Giants and if they add any competition for him this offseason. He should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in 2018.

  • Posted: 12/25/2017 7:34am ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will start the Week 17 season finale, according to interim coach Steve Spagnuolo.

Huddle Up: Manning threw for 263 yards, but he didn't reach the end zone and threw two balls to the other team. He's not an option in fantasy against the Washington Redskins.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 8:52pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 27 of his 45 pass attempts for 263 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Huddle Up: The Giants were shut out in this one, but it isn't all Eli's fault. The offensive line is in shambles, he lost Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall early in the season and Evan Engram was hurt in this one, too. It has been a lost season in Gotham.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 7:15pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning completed 37 of his 57 passes for 434 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in a 34-29 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Manning had three touchdowns in the previous four games combined, so don't expect him to have a repeat performance against Arizona in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/11/2017 12:33pm ET

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will remain the starting quarterback at least for one more week, according to interim head coach Steve Spagnuolo.

Huddle Up: Manning could definitely finish out the year as the starter unless Spags and the coaching staff want to throw Davis Webb to the wolves before the season concludes. Manning has not been a reliable quarterback all year and certainly can't be trusted in the fantasy playoffs.
