The New York Jets have not made progress in trade talks with New Orleans Saints involving RB Chris Ivory.
Huddle Up: Ivory still is mired in the RBBC that is the New Orleans backfield, but he would have the chance to be the immediate lead dog with the Jets with Bilal Powell and Mike Goodson atop the team's pre-draft depth chart.

The New Orleans Saints issued a second-round tender to restricted free-agent RB Chris Ivory Friday, March 8. If a team would want to sign Ivory to a contract and the Saints wouldn't match the offer, the Saints would receive a second-round draft pick from that team. The price tag is likely too high for any team to try to pluck Ivory away.
Huddle Up: It's not a back-rich draft class, so there's a chance a team could toss a second-round pick at the Saints to secure Ivory. More likely, however, is that the talented Ivory get stuck behind the Saints' other backs and his fantasy potential goes untapped.

New Orleans Saints RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) has been added to the team's Week 14 injury report because of a hamstring injury and is listed as doubtful.
Huddle Up: Not a good sign at all when a player is a late-week addition to the injury report. If you were counting on Ivory this week, you need to make other plans.

New Orleans Saints RB Chris Ivory had 10 carries for a team-high 48 yards and a
TD Monday night in a 28-13 Week 9 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Huddle Up: With Darren Sproles out with a broken hand, it was Ivory's season debut, and his
performance was highlighted by a 22-yard scoring run in the second quarter. He
also caught a 2-yard pass. Pierre Thomas (6-44) and Mark Ingram (7-44) also
contributed in the running game and each caught a pair of passes.

New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael said RB Chris Ivory has had problems fumbling during training camp. 'It's something that really needs to be emphasized to him everyday,' Carmichael said. 'It's not acceptable, and we just gotta keep coaching it.' Ivory's spot on the roster may be in jeopardy if he continues to struggle.
Huddle Up: With Darren Sproles, Mark Ingram and Pierre Thomas also on the roster, the Saints are loaded at tailback, and Ivory is struggling with the wrong team at the wrong time. He was fourth on the team in rushing a year ago with 364 yards and a TD.
