Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones' (ankle) role in the offense Week 12 could be determined by the pace of the game. Jones could see more playing time if the team needs to throw more during the game.
Huddle Up: Jones, who officially is listed as questionable, clearly isn't close to 100 percent. He played last week but was unable to finish the game, and wound up with only 3 catches for 33 yards. Start him with caution.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (ankle) left the game early Week 11 because of an ankle injury and is considered questionable to return.
Huddle Up: Jones, who was cleared to play in a game-time decision, clearly wasn't up to speed all contest, catching only 3 passes for 33 yards on 7 targets. He'll likely miss some practices this week as he tries to heal for Week 12.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 16, and is questionable for Week 11.
Huddle Up: It doesn't look good for Julio's availability this weekend despite the "questionable" tag. If you haven't found alternative plans, do so. But check his status on Sunday to be sure.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 15, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting the wideout will be a game-time decision Sunday for the Week 11 contest against the Arizona Cardinals.
Huddle Up: This has been a downturn for Jones, who was injured in the first half this past Sunday but came back in the second half and finished with 4 catches for 75 yards. His owners are now going to have to check in with The Huddle's Game Day Inactives report Sunday to make sure their man isn't included.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (leg) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Huddle Up: This is troublesome for Jones, who was knocked out of last week's game with the injury. If he continues to miss practice, the Falcons might hold him out of this week's game. Even if he returns to a limited practice role, they might hold him out for precautionary reasons. Keep an eye on his injury status.

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (leg) returned to the game in Week 10 after missing some time because of a leg injury.
Huddle Up: Jones was taken to the lockerroom and wound up missing most of the first half. He did return for the second half and wound up with 4 catches for 75 yards on 5 targets in the Falcons' first loss of the season.

Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter confirmed Tuesday, Oct. 2, that WR Julio Jones (hand) is still hindered by a hand injury. Jones suffered a right hand laceration in Week 3 against the San Diego Chargers. While he was active in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers, he had just one catch. 'He still had eight targets (in Week 4). That's a fair number; it just didn't work out. Eight targets and one catch is not a good percentage. Julio's hand is not 100 percent. Credit him for playing and running his routes hard,' Koetter said.
Huddle Up: Fantasy owners were salivating after Jones stormed out of the gate with his 6-catch, 108-yard and 2-TD performance in Week 1, but he is a combined 10-111-TD on 22 targets in his 3 games since. Two things: Lacerations do heal and Jones' talent hasn't gone anywhere so ride out the storm and you'll soon be reaping the rewards again.

Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand) was limited in practice
Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Huddle Up: He came back from the injury and had a nice fantasy day last week.
He should be fine this weekend, at least as far as this injury is
concerned.

Atlanta Falcons WRs Julio Jones (thigh) and Roddy White (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 21, and are probable for the team's Week 3 game in San Diego.
Huddle Up: Both wideouts get a fantasy green light as does QB Matt Ryan, who is off to an impressive start through two games.

Former NFL WR Jerry Rice is a fan of Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones and believes Jones will have a breakout campaign in 2012. 'I love this kid,' Rice said. 'He's awesome. He's big, he's fast ... I think he's gonna have a breakout season this coming year.'
Huddle Up: That's quite a compliment from the NFL's greatest wide receiver ever. And don't think Rice just threw that out there based on size and speed. He's probably studied Jones' route-running, positioning, field smarts, everything. Jones has another thing going for him too: As long as Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez are on the field he'll rarely see double coverage.
