Huddle Up: Ingram is currently the third Saints' RB coming off the board, on average, but he very well could wind up with the most fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues. In another way to put it: Welcome to another season of the Saints' RB conundrum.

Huddle Up: In order to make any sort of statement, Ingram will need the increased touches to do so in the Saints' perennial RBBC, and he just may get them -- particularly rushes -- with Darren Sproles now gone and Pierre Thomas likely being asked to fill that role and catch more passes out of the backfield.

Huddle Up: Ingram, who has only 1,462 rushing yards in 3 seasons, has been unable to distinguish himself in the Saints' crowded backfield and it's certainly worthy of another year of first-round RB $$$.

Huddle Up: Whether or not the Saints extend Ingram's contract could provide a clue as to just how much they intend to use him in their new Darren Sproles-less backfield.

Huddle Up: Fewer backs in the Saints backfield would in theory give Ingram more of an opportunity, but he's not an every-down back in Sean Payton's system so he'll still be sharing the workload.

Huddle Up: In other news, the sun rises in the east. Mark Ingram's one-week explosion was an aberration.

Huddle Up: Don't buy it. See Targets, Touches and Throws later this week.

Huddle Up: It's hard enough to count on fantasy production from a healthy Ingram, let alone a hobbled Ingram. He still has a chance to participate in Saturday's practice, but it's looking like he'll miss a 2nd straight game Monday night.

Huddle Up: Ingram already is at risk to losing PT due to a sluggish start to the season, and now he's missed back-to-back practices. It all means that Pierre Thomas' fantasy stock is on the rise this week.

Huddle Up: Right now, it has to be Darren Sproles, Thomas and then Ingram when ranking the Saints' fantasy RBs, but outside of Sproles in PPR leagues, playing Thomas or Ingram at this point are risky propositions.
