Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 12, and is listed as probable for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Smith seems have made progress, but will still be a game-time decision Sunday. He was active in Week 14 but didn't play after experiencing swelling in his knee in pre-game warm-ups, but he should play if he's active this week.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) is participating in practice Friday, Dec. 12. Smith looks gimpy and uncomfortable running routes.

Huddle Up: Ravens coach John Harbaugh is holding out hope saying Smith will be a game-time decision, but most signs are pointing toward a second straight missed game for the wideout. Keep your Plan B in place until you hear otherwise.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 11.

Huddle Up: Smith has missed two straight practices after sitting out Week 14, and his Sunday status is very much in doubt. Kamar Aiken, who broke out with a 6-65-1 performance last week, could be in line for more work.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) has a sprained knee, according to head coach John Harbaugh. There was no further information on Smith's status or timetable.

Huddle Up: Smith was active Sunday, but experienced swelling in his knee during warmups and was held out. Smith owners will have to monitor practice reports this week.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 5, and is probable for Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins. Smith was optimistic about his chances of playing on Thursday.

Huddle Up: Smith's fantasy owners can keep riding the red-hot WR, who's caught a TD pass in five of his last seven games.

  • Posted: 12/5/2014 12:10am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) said his right knee has progressed with treatment and rest the past few days.

Huddle Up: Smith hasn't practiced the last two days so Friday will be big for the wideout who leads the Ravens with eight TD catches.

  • Posted: 12/3/2014 4:05pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) is making progress with his knee injury, according to head coach John Harbaugh. The injury is not considered serious.

Huddle Up: At the moment, there's no reason to think Smith will miss any time, but see what the prognosis is later in the week after a team practice or three. Smith has caught 7 TD passes over the last 7 games.

  • Posted: 12/2/2014 12:05am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) should be able to play in Week 14 even though he suffered a knee injury in Week 13, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh said the injury is not serious and considers Smith day-to-day.

Huddle Up: Smith owners will need to monitor practice reports this week as their man has certainly been start worthy of late, catching 20 passes for 301 yards and four scores as Joe Flacco's No. 1 target over the the last four games.

  • Posted: 12/1/2014 9:10am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (knee) limped off in the Week 13 game against the San Diego Chargers favoring his right knee. He is expected to undergo further testing Monday, Dec. 1, to determine the severity of his injury.

Huddle Up: Losing Smith would be a blow to the Ravens as they battle for a playoff spot in the uber-competitive AFC North... but let's get the results of those further tests before hitting the panic button.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith has just 11 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown in the first five games this season. Smith is in the final year of his rookie deal, and a new deal is not imminent, according to sources.

Huddle Up: Couldn't be that the Ravens are suppressing Smith's numbers to keep his price down, could it? Torrey has definitely taken a back seat to Steve Smith in the Baltimore offense--that five-game stat line could have been a big week for Smith in a previous version of this offense--and there's little indication things will turn around any time soon. On the bright side, Smith could be a buy-low candidate in dynasty leagues given that he won't have any desire to return to this iteration of the Baltimore offense once his contract expires.

One anonymous general manager said that Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith is 'a bit of a one-trick pony (as a downfield threat).' Of the 130 passes that were thrown to Smith last year, 26 percent went over 20 yards in the air, and he led all NFL players in the most targets and routes run on passes that traveled over 20 yards. In 2013, he had only 39 catches on throws that went 10 yards or less, which ranked him 71st among receivers in the league. WR Steve Smith's presence in the offense could limit opposing defenses from bracketing their coverages on Smith all game long. Also, offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak is known for not taking too many downfield shots.

Huddle Up: There's no question Torrey is a deep threat, and Steve's presence on the other side of the field should give both Smiths more room to roam. As for Kubiak not being a deep ball kind of guy, he seemed to take a few shots with Andre Johnson so don't sweat Torrey being dramatically limited this season.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday, March 25, that the team is looking to sign WR Torrey Smith to a contract extension. Smith is in the last year of his deal, and they do not have a 2015 club option save for the franchise or transition tags.

Huddle Up: Smith's receiving yards have increased in each of his 3 seasons, hitting 1,128 this past campaign on a career-high 65 catches. Still, he had a career-low 4 TD catches after having at least 7 in each of his first 2 years. The Ravens have added Steve Smith this offseason, but expect the younger, speedier Smith to remain the team's top WR target.

  • Posted: 2/26/2014 10:42am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith said the team needs a 'move-the-chains' receiver.

Huddle Up: Sounds like Smith would prefer to remain the deep threat in Baltimore, and that he misses former running mate Anquan Boldin. The Ravens haven't found anyone to fill that role, though with the money they're about to shell out perhaps the expectation is that Dennis Pitta will take over some of that workload.

The Baltimore Ravens may look to sign WR Torrey Smith to a contract extension this offseason since he is entering the final year of his current deal.

Huddle Up: The Ravens are already wafer-thin at wide receiver and could ill afford to lose Smith to free agency. With so much already invested in Joe Flacco, Baltimore needs to pay Smith--and probably add another pass-catcher or two as well.

Baltimore Ravens WR Torrey Smith (thigh) was limited in practice Friday, Dec. 17, and is questionable for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Smith is expected to play in what is a must-win for Baltimore this week against Cincinnati. However, the Ravens are going into the game banged up, as Smith, Ray Rice and Joe Flacco are all dealing with injuries.
