Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (concussion) will definitely be available in Week 17, according to head coach Mike McCarthy.
Huddle Up: With Green's expected return, the Pack's running attack has a good chance of dissolving back into a fantasy quagmire -- especially for those looking for an encore to Ryan Grant's 114-total yard, 2-TD showing in Week 16.

Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (concussion) will have one more concussion test Saturday, Dec. 22, before a final determination is made on his status for the Week 16 game against the Tennessee Titans. 'It's really been kind of a scheduling issue with everything that's going on,' head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday, Dec. 21. 'We feel pretty confident based on our medical staff that he should be available for the game.'
Huddle Up: Even if Green does play, that only means another game sharing carries with Ryan Grant and DuJuan Harris. Last week vs. the Bears, Green had 13 carries, Grant 8 and Harris 5.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (concussion) did not practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is questionable for Week 16.
Huddle Up: DuJuan Harris could be in for an extended look at running back this week. He has looked good in the limited playing time he has gotten; perhaps he will make for a good emergency option, but this probably just means the Packers will throw the ball more.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green might be the top running back option on the team's roster if RB James Starks is lost for the season due to a knee injury. An NFL source said Tuesday, Dec. 4, that the knee injury Starks suffered in Week 13 might be serious enough to end his season.
Huddle Up: Green has been underwhelming when given the opportunity, and the Packers don't run the ball enough anyway for him to be anything more than a desperation fantasy play. Ryan Grant has been added to the roster, though it's unlikely he's any threat to Green's limited carries anyway.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (knee) did not practice Friday, Nov. 16, but is probable for Week 11.
Huddle Up: Green enters the week as the Pack's leading rusher, but with only 272 yards on 87 carries, that's not saying a whole lot. Green also has failed to score TD, and now James Starks is expected to take over as the team's starting RB Sunday after outrushing Green, 61-53, on 6 more carries (17-11) in Week 9.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he wasn't happy with the running game in Week 7 against the St. Louis Rams, in which RB Alex Green ran for only 35 yards on 20 carries. 'I wasn't real happy with the production in the run game,' McCarthy said. 'I thought we left too many hard yards on the field. There were too many 1-, 2-yard runs that should have been hardball 3-, 4-, 5-yard runs. We need to improve that aspect of our offense.'
Huddle Up: After back-to-back 60-yard-plus outings, Green's rushing totals took a dip against the Rams, who aren't exactly known for a stout run defense. The pressure is on this week against the Jags, and if Green can't bounce back, we could see James Starks or even the newly-signed Johnny White get some carries.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.
Huddle Up: Green did get 22 carries in Week 6 against the Texans, taking over starting duties for the injured Cedric Benson, but averaged fewer than 3 yards an attempt with 65 yards. Provided the shoulder isn't a big issue, Green should find the going a little easier this Sunday against the Rams.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (knee) accomplished his goal of being medically cleared to start training camp. Green suffered a torn left ACL last year in Week 7 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Green's still got a ways to go before he's a significant threat to James Starks, but insiders have always felt Green has unlimited potential. And it's not like Starks is the second coming of Ahman Green...

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green (knee) has not hit any snags in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, and he is still aiming to return for training camp. Green pointed to last Thursday, June 14, where he was able to cycle through outside zone plays and cut freely. Green also ran all the routes his position demands without any problems.
Huddle Up: Green has the most raw all-around talent amongst the Packers RBs. The team's RB depth chart currently reads: James Starks, Green, Brandon Saine, and undrafted free agent Du'ane Bennett. Of course FB John Kuhn is always around to poach four or five touchdowns too.
