The Cleveland Browns are taking a cautious approach with TE Jordan Cameron while he deals with a groin injury because they see him as their starting tight end this season.
Huddle Up: Cameron is a popular fantasy sleeper given the track record new Browns coach Rob Chudzinski has with tight end productivity. No reason to risk injury now, as he appears to be a big part of Cleveland's offensive game plan in 2013.

The Cleveland Browns plan to throw a lot to TE Jordan Cameron this season. Cameron has been targeted on several deep passes during organized team activities.
Huddle Up: The Browns have only had one TE post 50 or more catches since Kellen Winslow Jr.'s 82-grab season in 2007, and Cameron -- who hauled in 20 passes for 226 yards and a a TD in 2012 -- will take aim at the mark this season.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron is expected to serve as the No. 1 tight end in head coach Rob Chudzinski's offense, and the position is very busy in the team's new scheme. "Well he's not ready right now, we are working through that with him," Chudzinski said Wednesday, April 17. "He is learning the offense obviously. This is an offense that has featured tight ends and tight ends have always been a big part of it. He has the skill set that fits and he has had a good couple days."
Huddle Up: Chudzinski is a former tight end and tight ends coach, and his offenses have tended to feature the position--most recently Greg Olsen in Carolina. Cameron has the physical tools to create mismatch problems at the tight end position, so if he he's able to pick up the offense he has a good shot at putting up useful fantasy numbers in Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron said he is looking forward to the
opportunity to compete for the starting tight end job and playing in
the team's new offense. 'I know it's a big opportunity,' Cameron
said. 'There's a lot of opportunities to make plays, and I just want
to get out there, show what I can do, and showcase my athleticism.
I've always been looking for this opportunity, and so far, getting
to meet the coaches and some of the new guys has been good so far.'
Huddle Up: Cameron, a third-year TE, caught 20-226-1 last season, and while the
Browns may target a top tight end in the draft, Cameron figures to
be in the mix for the No. 1 job in a TE-friendly Norv Turner
offense.
