Huddle Up: Fantasy GMs would do well to listen to Elway's words. Thomas has had one elite season (to Graham's 3) after catching only a single pass total over his first 2 years in the Mile High City. In other words, Graham belongs in a clear tier above until we see more.

Huddle Up: Thomas, a former college hoops star like Graham, has one stellar season under his belt and will need a few more to match the Saints standout and be considered a part of this intriguing 'tweener category.

Huddle Up: Thomas nothing short of revelation last season when he finished third among all NFL TEs with 151 fantasy points, and it's not surprising he's still learning on the fly, having totaled one career reception in his 2 prior pro seasons. Expect more big numbers -- and a second-straight top-5 fantasy TE finish -- this season.

Huddle Up: Thomas returned in Week 14 from a 2-game knee injury absence and caught 5 passes for 35 yards and a TD. Start him with full confidence Thursday night against the Chargers.

Huddle Up: Double check over the weekend, but count on having Thomas available for the first time in 3 weeks. That also means Jacob Tamme falls off the fantasy radar again.

Huddle Up: This is the best indicator yet that Thomas is in line to return from a 2-game absence. See if he can get in another full workout Friday, and if he does, feel free to put him back in your starting lineup.

Huddle Up: Thomas, who missed the Week 12 loss to the Patriots, has been limited all week, but the general sense coming out of the Mile High City is that the TE will play this week against the Chiefs. Check back with The Huddle's Game-Day Inactives, Injuries and Weather Report on Sunday morning.

Huddle Up: Thomas, who missed his first game of the season in Week 12, has been limited in both of the team's practices this week. He should be able to play in Week 13 if he can show a little more in Friday's workouts.

Huddle Up: Good news for the hurting Broncos and your fantasy team.
Posted: 11/22/2013 6:00pm ET
Huddle Up: It's shaping up as a game-time decision for Thomas, and that's problematic for fantasy GMs given the Broncos don't play until Sunday night at New England. Make sure you have another TE rostered and ready to go if things are still up in the air Sunday morning.

Huddle Up: Thomas at least got in some work on a cold day in Denver after sitting out Wednesday, but his status for Sunday remains up in the air. Friday's practice report will tell us more.

Huddle Up: Keep monitoring his status this week.

Huddle Up: Thomas has gotten plenty of rest over the team's bye week and should be good to go Sunday vs. Chargers.

Huddle Up: That's 2 days of limited work coming off a bye for Thomas, who twisted the ankle Week 8 against the Skins. See if he's able to do more Friday. If not, he'll be a serious question mark Sunday.

Huddle Up: Updated from earlier. As we said, there is a big difference between "attending" and "participating" in practice. Keep an eye on Thomas this week.

Huddle Up: "Attending" and "participating" are two different things, but this is some positive news for him.

Huddle Up: This is good to hear for Thomas, who has the bye week to heal up.
Posted: 10/28/2013 11:00am ET
Huddle Up: Thomas left the Broncos' Week 8 win in the second half and did not return. An ankle injury is worrysome because Thomas lost much of the previous two seasons to ankle injuries. The Broncos have next week off, so fantasy owners will have to come up with a backup plan for Week 9 anyway.

Huddle Up: Meet the first waiver-wire darling of the season. Thomas, who had one career catch for 5 yards in his first 2 pro seasons, earned his first NFL start with a strong preseason and opened eyes quickly, doing most of his damage in the first half. Thomas certainly isn't going to see this production most weeks given the Broncos' abundance of targets, but the 6-foot-5 former college hoops player certainly established himself as a must-start fantasy TE in the season's first 30 minutes.

Huddle Up: An unpaid traffic citation isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things -- and it won't affect Thomas' sleeper status as the team's starting TE -- but it's a major disappointment in Denver in light of the Broncos' other offseason transgressions.
Posted: 9/1/2013 12:41pm ET
Huddle Up: Thomas, the Broncos' leading preseason pass-catcher, certainly deserves a sizable bump in the TE rankings, but don't go overboard as there still are plenty of targets ahead of him in Peyton Manning's pecking order.
