Huddle Up: Lewis will definitely see his share of work if healthy, but former-Texan Ben Tate sits atop the depth chart, and the Browns also like what they've seen from rookie third-rounder Terrance West so forecasting Lewis' fantasy future is a murky proposition at the moment.

Huddle Up: There isn't a more hated phrase in the lexicon of fantasy football than "running back committee". Cleveland's RBBC dings Tate's fantasy value significantly as well as putting the brakes on talk of West as a hot sleeper candidate.

Huddle Up: Jackson did start 13 games in 2010 with the Packers, totalling 1,045 yards and 4 TDs, and Richardson owners in deeper leagues should have him on their late-round draft radar.

Huddle Up: There was some hope that Lewis -- who was on his way to securing the team's No. 2 RB role -- would be able to return later in the season, but it looks like Brandon Jackson will start the season as the change-up back to starter Trent Richardson.

Huddle Up: Such a shame for a guy who looked so good as Trent Richardson's backup.

Huddle Up: The Browns haven't said as much, but it sounds as if the team's No. 2 RB is done for the season.

Huddle Up: Lewis was having a great camp and looked to be in line for change-of-pace work in Cleveland; now it appears as if Montario Hardesty will stick around for at least a little bit longer.

Huddle Up: The Browns' reserve RB situation in back of starter Trent Richardson has went to hell in a handbasket over the past few days as Montario Hardesty (arthroscopic knee surgery) and now Lewis have gone down. Could a free-agent signing or 2 be in the team's immediate future?
Posted: 8/15/2013 10:16pm ET
Huddle Up: If Lewis, the Browns' No. 2 RB, is hurt seriously and misses much time, it'll leave the team paper thin at RB with fellow back Montario Hardesty undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

Huddle Up: Whoever wins this job won't be much of a threat to Trent Richardson, but it would be worth noting for handcuff purposes. Hardesty has been disappointing over the years, while Lewis has some youthful upside.
