Huddle Up: Kerley, who went out with a dislocated elbow Week 9, remains a few weeks from returning to game action even though he has been catching balls one-handed in practice this week, according to an ESPN-New York report.

Huddle Up: It was originally feared that the Jets' leading receiver (28-342-2) would miss the rest of the season after going down with a dislocated elbow in Week 9, but that's been upgraded to an expected absence of 2-3 weeks.

Huddle Up: More bad news for Geno Smith as Kerley is the Jets' leading receiver. With Santonio Holmes' return remaining up in the air, Stephen Hill, David Nelson and Greg Salas are the Jets' top wideouts.

Huddle Up: The Jets WR corps is a M.A.S.H. unit. If Kerley misses significant time, Josh Cribbs could see a big increase in his role.

Huddle Up: With Santonio Holmes (hamstring) ruled out of a 4th straight game, Kerley has taken advantage with 15 catches for 184 yards and a pair of TDs over the past 3 games.

Huddle Up: With Kerley out, look for more Geno Smith passes directed at Stephen Hill and Santonio Holmes this week, but counting on any Jet remains an iffy proposition at this point.

Huddle Up: Kerley finished second on the squad with 45 receiving yards (on 3 receptions) in the Week 1 win over the Bucs, but apparently some symptoms resurfaced Monday. Consider the WR very iffy with the team's short turnaround playing Thursday night against the Patriots.
