The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons PK Jason Elam (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 12. He is listed as questionable for the team's Week 15 game but is expected to play.
The Huddle Take: Elam's been on the injury list for several weeks but has continued to play. However, you never know when or if he'll aggravate the injury and have to leave a game. You'd probably be better off looking in another direction for your kicker this week.

Longtime veteran K Jason Elam has agreed to terms with the Atlanta Falcons on a 4-year $9 million dollar deal that includes an estimated $3.3 million in guaranteed money. Elam has been a solid kicker for the Broncos since 1993 and shares the NFL record for the longest field goal made with Tom Dempsey with a 63-yarder in 1993.
The Huddle Take: Elam will add consistency to the Falcon kicking game that has used the aging veteran Morten Anderson for the last two seasons. If the Falcons offense can move the ball Elam could score alot of points for Atlanta who plays their home games in a dome stadium. Fantasy owners should move Elam up their draft charts for the 2008 season.
