Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin looks quick and explosive in OTAs. He looks to be fully healthy after a disappointing sophomore season.
Huddle Up: Baldwin's production (29-366-3) dipped noticeably in 2012 after a his strong debut in 2011 (51-788-4) as Sidney Rice (50-748-7) and Golden Tate (45-688-7) stepped forward as Russell Wilson's top targets. Now, Percy Harvin is joining the Hawks' WR mix, and improved or not, Baldwin is going to have even more competition for targets.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) was a full participant for the second straight day of practice Friday, Nov. 2, and he is considered probable for Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Huddle Up: Baldwin largely has been a disappointment with only 1 TD and more than 2 catches in only one game this season so don't expect too much from the wideout.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) is pushing to return in time for the Week 9 game, according to head coach Pete Carroll. The head coach said Baldwin is healing faster than expected.
Huddle Up: Baldwin has been sidelined by an ankle injury, one of several banged-up Seattle wideouts. With the Seahawks' receiver corps thinned, a healthy Baldwin would move right alongside Golden Tate and Sidney Rice atop the receiver rotation.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) is unlikely to return for the team's Week 9 contest against the Minnesota Vikings. 'It's going to be a longshot for him to make it back,' head coach Pete Carroll said. 'He's trying. He did run last week. He ran at the end of the week. We'll just see if he can tolerate it.'
Huddle Up: Baldwin has been a disappointment this season after leading the Seahawks in receiving last year. He might get some second-half run when he gets healthy, but he is no more than a deep-league stash at this point.

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday, Oct. 24, that WR Doug Baldwin is out for Week 8 due to a high ankle sprain, and Baldwin might be sidelined a couple of weeks.
Huddle Up: The Seattle passing game doesn't offer enough fantasy production for Baldwin's absence to warrant more than a blip on the radar.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (ankle) has been ruled out for Week
8 due to a high-ankle sprain. Head coach Pete Carroll said Baldwin
is a couple weeks away from returning. WRs Charly Martin and Golden
Tate will serve as the slot receivers in Baldwin's absence. However,
WR Braylon Edwards will present the two with some competition.
Huddle Up: None of the 3 -- Martin, Tate or Edwards -- caught a pass in Week 7
when the Seahawks fell to the 49ers, so all 3 should be hungry for
action. Of the trio, Tate has the biggest upside as he leads the
team with 3 receiving TDs and ranks 2nd with 191 yards.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin left in the second quarter of Thursday night's Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers because of an ankle injury and did not return to the game.
Huddle Up: Baldwin was a bit of a factor early, catching 2 passes for 15 yards on a pair of targets before leaving with his injury. With Baldwin out, Ben Obomanu led the team with 3 catches for 50 yards after entering the game with 1 reception for 8 yards.

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (shoulder) and CB Byron Maxwell (hamstring) practiced in full Wednesday, Sept. 26.
Huddle Up: Baldwin missed out on the Week 3 MNF fun with his shoulder injury, and team's leading receiver from a year ago only has 3 catches for 13 yards so far in 2012. With rookie QB Russell Wilson only completing an average of 14 passes per game, the opportunities in the Seattle passing game are limited and therefore so is Baldwin's fantasy value.
Posted: 8/21/2012 11:29pm et
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said WR Doug Baldwin (hamstring) underwent 'a little procedure' to clean up his hamstring injury, and he'll return to practice next week.
Huddle Up: Despite leading the team in receptions (51), receiving yards (788) and receiving TDs (4) a season ago, Baldwin is enduring a lost preseason thanks to his balky hammy. Whether or not Baldwin can return to workouts next week is a big question mark at this point, and there's a possibility he starts the regular season on the PUP list. If that's the case, it could crack the door for Braylon Edwards, T.O. or one of the other wideouts fighting for a roster spot.

Updating a previous report, the Seattle Seahawks released WR Mike Williams. The split end position is up for grabs in Seattle.
Huddle Up: Sidney Rice is locked in as the flanker. Doug Baldwin technically backs up Rice but he'll get a shot to start across from Rice now. Golden Tate is a slot guy. Ben Obomanu and Kris Durham will get more reps in camp too, but overall Baldwin is the most natural, polished wideout of the remaining bunch.
