New Orleans Saints WR Joe Morgan (knee) is good to go for practice, according to head coach Sean Payton.

Huddle Up: A torn ACL nixed Morgan's entire 2013 season, and with the Saints using draft picks on Kenny Stills and Brandin Cooks the past 2 years, he'll be fighting for his roster life this August.

The New Orleans Saints re-signed WR Joe Morgan to an undisclosed 1-year deal Tuesday, March 18.

Huddle Up: Morgan missed the entire 2013 season because of a torn ACL, and many fantasy GMs may have forgotten the big-play flashes he showed in 2012 when he averaged 37.9 yards per catch and scored 3 TDs on 10 receptions.

New Orleans Saints WR Joe Morgan (knee) will miss the entire 2013 season because of a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament as well as a torn meniscus.

Huddle Up: Morgan had some sleeper value given what he did in limited duty last season, averaging an insane 37.9 yards per catch, albeit on just 10 receptions. With Morgan gone, the Saints will have to find another deep threat.

New Orleans Saints WR Joe Morgan is battling WRs Nick Toon, Kenny Stills and Courtney Roby for the No. 3 wide receiver spot in training camp behind WRs Marques Colston and Lance Moore.

Huddle Up: Morgan is the early leader in the clubhouse as the only one of the four who recorded a reception for the Saints a year ago, finishing with 10 grabs for 379 yards and 3 scores. With Devery Henderson now gone, though, it's the No. 3 job that's now open and over the past 4 seasons, Saints' No. 3 wideouts have averaged 38 catches, 574 yards and 5 TDs a season.
