Updating previous reports, Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore (jaw) left the playoff game briefly Sunday, Jan. 8, after suffering a blow to the head. Moore doesn't have a concussion, and he was more worried about his jaw region.

Huddle Up: He was 29-for-36 (80.6%) for 289 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Moore's numbers were decent on paper, but he lost two fumbles on top of that interception. He'll likely return to a backup role next season and have no immediate fantasy value.

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore went 29-for-36 for 289 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also lost two fumbles during the game.

Huddle Up: Moore played well as the starting quarterback over the last three games but should be the backup quarterback again next season. Ryan Tannehill will be the starter in 2017 and should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore likely will the starting quarterback in the Wild Card playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers unless something changes drastically, according to head coach Adam Gase.

Huddle Up: The Dolphins are trying to get Ryan Tannehill back on the field, but it looks like Moore will receive at least one more start. He has thrown eight touchdowns and three interceptions in the last three games and has played well as a starter. He will be facing an improved Steelers defense and may not be the best option for owners.

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore made another start in Week 17 with QB Ryan Tannehill (knee) sidelined. Moore completed 24 of his 34 pass attempts for 205 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Huddle Up: It's uncertain if Moore or Tannehill will be under center for the team's start in the wild-card round in Pittsburgh, but Moore would be worth a look as a low-end QB1 in postseason fantasy leagues if he gets the nod.

  • Posted: 12/17/2016 8:26pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore completed 12 of his 18 passes for 236 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in a 34-13 win over the New York Jets Saturday, Dec. 17.

Huddle Up: Moore shined in his first start since 2012, torching the hapless Jets secondary. He will continue to start in place of Ryan Tannehill, and Moore could be a DFS sleeper against Buffalo in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 4:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore completed three of his five pass attempts for 47 yards in the Week 14 game against the Arizona Cardinals, taking over for the injury QB Ryan Tannehill.

Huddle Up: Moore is likely to take over as the starting signal caller in South Florida, as the team fears Tannehill suffered a torn ACL. Moore would only be worth using as a low-end QB2 in fantasy leagues requiring two starting signal callers.
