Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports unrestricted free-agent QB Trent Green has decided to retire from professional football. "I feel this is finally the right time. I've talked about it with (the family) for a while, especially with the concussions over the last few years. We all felt it was the time to do it," Green said.
The Huddle Take: Green's playing time has diminished each of the past three seasons due in part to the concussions as well as his advancing age and declining skills. He's getting out with his melon intact, which given some of the shots he's absorbed has to be considered a victory.
