Green Bay Packers RB Brandon Saine (knee) was carted off in the third quarter of the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans due to a knee injury and did not return.
Huddle Up: Even with Cedric Benson out and James Starks active but still limited by turf toe, Saine did not get a carry in the game.

Green Bay Packers RB Alex Green will get the first carry in the team's Week 6 game. After that, however, head coach Mike McCarthy said he will go with the 'hot hand' between Green, RB James Starks and RB Brandon Saine. All three running backs received first-team reps in practice Wednesday, Oct. 10. "Alex and James both got reps today and so did Brandon Saine," McCarthy said. "The first carry will be Alex Green. He's a little farther ahead than James is right now and that's the way we'll go. But we have three halfbacks and we'll utilize all three of them."
Huddle Up: Green is the most talented back of the bunch, but he still has some issues in pass protection that could take a bite out of his playing time. Plus, the Packers are unquestionably a pass-first team so the fantasy value of any Green Bay running back is limited right out of the gate. Mix in the "hot hand" theory and John Kuhn at the goal line and... you didn't blow your entire FAAB on Green, did you?
