Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 22-for-28 for 183 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Green Bay Packers in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Flacco has been held to under 200 yards in four of the last five games but does have five touchdowns during that span. He will be facing the Houston Texans in Week 12, but owners in most leagues should be able to find better starting options.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 7:27pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said the offense needs to be more aggressive going forward. 'We need to go after it,' Flacco said Wednesday, Nov. 8. 'We got to go attack.'

Huddle Up: Flacco ranks last in the NFL in yards per pass attempt, and his 10 interceptions are tied for the third most. Attempting a few more deep balls certainly can't hurt his numbers, but Flacco isn't likely to move out of low-end QB2 territory any time soon.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 6:17pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 34 of his 52 passes for a season-high 261 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in a 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Flacco had to throw the ball early and often after the Ravens fell behind, but he still finished with a mediocre line. He has just eight touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions for the year, and he will be a low-end QB2 when Baltimore returns from its bye against the Green Packers in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 5:40am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) is expected to start Week 9's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Flacco was listed as questionable on the injury report despite being a full practice participant for all three practice sessions during the week. Although he has a somewhat favorable matchup, Flacco's statistical performances have been mediocre this season and he should be regarded as a QB2 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 11/3/2017 12:41pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 3, but is listed as questionable for Week 9.

Huddle Up: Flacco should be able to play against the Tennessee Titans as long as he does not suffer a setback over the next few days. He has been held under 200 yards in four of his last six games and should be avoided in most leagues.

  • Posted: 11/2/2017 3:22pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 2.

Huddle Up: Flacco appears to be on track to play in Week 9 and will be facing a decent Tennessee Titans pass defense. He has not posted great numbers this season and should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 2:53pm ET

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) was able to take part in a full practice session Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Huddle Up: Barring any setbacks it appears Flacco is set to start under center in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans. It's a semi-favorable matchup against the league's 19th ranked pass defense, but Flacco is still more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/1/2017 1:33pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) was back on the field for the practice session open to the media Wednesday, Nov. 1. It remains to be seen whether he was a full or limited participant for the entire session.

Huddle Up: Flacco appeared to be going through his normal routine six days after being clobbered in the Week 8 win against the Miami Dolphins, leaving him in the concussion protocol. On Monday, head coach John Harbaugh said Flacco has zero concussion symptoms.

  • Posted: 10/30/2017 1:33pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) is not dealing with any concussion symptoms and appears to have a good chance to play in Week 9, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor Flacco's practice participation this week to see if he is on track to play in Week 9. He would be facing a decent Tennessee Titans defense if he is able to play and is not a great option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/26/2017 7:19pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (concussion) will not return against the Miami Dolphins Thursday, Oct. 26, after being diagnosed with a concussion.

Huddle Up: If the injury forces Flacco to miss any additional games, it could lead to a few more carries for Javorius Allen and Alex Collins as the Ravens try to take some pressure off backup quarterback Ryan Mallett.

  • Posted: 10/26/2017 6:46pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (head) exited against the Miami Dolphins Thursday, Oct. 26, after taking a blow to the head. He went to the locker room and was replaced by QB Ryan Mallett.

Huddle Up: The Ravens' offense was already sputtering, and if Flacco misses extended time, it is going to be tough to justify starting any of Baltimore's receivers.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 1:27pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 27-for-39 for 186 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Flacco threw his first touchdown in three games but has not thrown for more than 235 yards in any game this season. He has five touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2017 and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 2:54pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 24-for-41 for 180 yards and two interceptions against the Chicago Bears in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Flacco has thrown six interceptions and only one touchdown in the last four games and will be facing a tough Minnesota Vikings defense in Week 7. Owners in all leagues should avoid Flacco.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 6:45pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 31 of his 49 pass attempts for 235 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 5 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Flacco was also sacked four times, as the Steelers the pressure all day long. The good news is that Flacco developed a nice rapport with Mike Wallace, connecting for a score, and that could be a valuable asset going forward. The Ravens travel to meet the Raiders in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 9:06am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco was pulled in the fourth quarter of the team's Week 3 game and has been replaced by QB Ryan Mallett.

Huddle Up: Flacco struggled against the Jacksonville Jaguars, posted only 28 yards passing in the game and threw two interceptions. It is not known if Flacco is in any danger of losing his starting job, so owners should monitor the situation. Flacco likely is a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues and should not be in starting lineups.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 4:50pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 25 of his 34 pass attempts for 217 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Week 2 against the Browns.

Huddle Up: Flacco looked a lot more comfortable in the offense this week after he was a bit rusty in Week 1 after missing time due to a disc issue in his back. He'll look to keep it going in Week 3 against the Jaguars, but keep in mind he has a long flight to London for that game and his back could lock up on the journey. He is a risky play for that one.

  • Posted: 9/13/2017 8:33am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) said he came out of the Week 1 game well, and he is pleased with his back's progress.

Huddle Up: Flacco had a very futile game statistically, and he has very little upside in fantasy at this point except as a backup. He does play the lowly Cleveland Browns, but there are greener pastures.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 6:24pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed nine of his 17 pass attempts for 121 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the Week 1 win in Cincinnati.

Huddle Up: It was Flacco's first game action since returning from a disc issue in his back. His stat line was rather pedestrian, and you can likely expect him to do very little until he starts to knock off the rust. He should be treated as more of a QB2 heading into Week 2 against the Browns.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 3:39pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: Flacco may be a little rusty in Week 1 since he did not play in the preseason but will have a solid group of pass catchers to work with on offense. Flacco should be a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues and probably can stay on the bench this week.

  • Posted: 9/6/2017 4:31pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Huddle Up: Flacco missed the entire preseason because of his back injury will should be on the field for Week 1. Flacco probably will be a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues that can start against favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 9/6/2017 8:31am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) said his back is feeling good Wednesday, Sept. 6, and he didn't receive an injection to assist with the recovery. Head coach John Harbaugh said Flacco has responded well to the first couple of days of practice.

Huddle Up: Flacco is little more than a depth QB in fantasy for now. If the weapons around him blossom, he could return to the low-end QB1 discussion.

  • Posted: 9/2/2017 12:09pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) participated in practice Saturday, Sept. 2.

Huddle Up: Flacco appears to be on track to play in Week 1, but owners should check on his status during practice next week. Flacco will have a solid group of receivers to work with but should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

  • Posted: 8/29/2017 9:35am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) has resumed throwing and will likely practice in the coming days, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Huddle Up: Flacco has established himself as a league-average quarterback, but he at least gives the Ravens' skill-position players a fighting chance, unlike Ryan Mallett. Considering Flacco has only missed six starts - all due to a 2015 torn ACL - since becoming Baltimore's quarterback in 2008, he should be counted on to be under center for Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

  • Posted: 8/26/2017 8:54pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) will be ready to play in Week 1, head coach John Harbaugh said Saturday, Aug. 26.

Huddle Up: Flacco is more important to Baltimore's success than the success of fantasy teams. Even if he is on the field in Week 1, he is no more than a midrange QB2.

  • Posted: 8/20/2017 12:18pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) will not return until Sunday, Aug. 27, at the earliest, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Huddle Up: Mike Wallace did not seem the least bit concerned about his quarterback's readiness for Week 1 in his interview with Hensley, so we'll have to take his word for it for now. Flacco is an established low-end veteran quarterback who shouldn't need much prep time, but back injuries are almost always tricky. Owners can avoid him in most non-two quarterback or superflex leagues.

  • Posted: 8/17/2017 7:28pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is not expected to practice this week because the team is sticking to their timeline for him, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Huddle Up: Flacco will not play in the preseason but could return to practice in a week or two. He is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season as long as he does not suffer a setback and should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

  • Posted: 8/11/2017 1:22pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is expected to return to practice at some point during the preseason but will not play in any of the preseason games. The team said that Flacco is making good progress in his rehab and should be ready to play in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Flacco has about a month before the start of the season, so he should have a good amount of practice time before he plays in a game. He will have a decent receiving corps to work with this season and also has Danny Woodhead out of the backfield. He should be considered a low-end No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/7/2017 7:35am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) received a second opinion on his back last week, according to sources. The results were 'positive for a slow return.' There's no timetable for his return.

Huddle Up: Flacco is your run-of-the-mill quarterback to use on a bye week or good matchup in fantasy.

  • Posted: 8/6/2017 1:56pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is feeling better every day but there is still no timetable for his return, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Huddle Up: Flacco probably will miss some preseason games but should be on the field for the start of the regular season. He has thrown for at least 3,900 yards in three of the last four seasons and will be working with a decent group of receivers this season. Flacco should only be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 6:37pm ET

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said QB Joe Flacco (back) will be back on the field long before the start of the regular season.

Huddle Up: It appears that Flacco likely will receive snaps during the preseason as long as he does not suffer a setback. Flacco will have a solid receiver corps to work with this season but should only be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/1/2017 3:40pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is feeling better in regards to his ailing back, according to a source. It remains unclear when Flacco will return to action.

Huddle Up: The Ravens have already suffered more than their fair share of injuries this year, so it's nice to see Flacco progressing. That being said, Flacco is a perennial backup fantasy quarterback, even with a solid corps of weapons around him.

  • Posted: 8/1/2017 10:15am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is likely due back 'soon' and will 'definitely' return at some point during the preseason, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

Huddle Up: It sounds as though the Ravens have no concerns about Flacco's Week 1 status, although the team would be foolish not to address their quarterback situation considering Ryan Mallett is the next-best option on the team. At any rate, Flacco is an uninspiring QB2 choice in fantasy.

  • Posted: 7/26/2017 7:09pm ET

Updating previous reports, the Baltimore Ravens are 'committing to a week of rest' for QB Joe Flacco (back) in hopes that will calm the symptoms down. He'll be shut down during that time and then be re-evaluated.

Huddle Up: This latest development could point to an earlier-than-anticipated return for Baltimore's franchise quarterback, meaning he might only miss a couple of weeks of action during training camp. Either way, it looks like Flacco will be fine by the time the season kicks off in more than a month, though he shouldn't really be considered a QB1 option in standard leagues going into the new campaign.

  • Posted: 7/26/2017 5:59pm ET

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is preparing to miss three to six weeks because of a disc issue in his back, according to sources. Flacco will miss at least a week or two because of the injury.

Huddle Up: Flacco could be questionable for the start of the regular season if his recovery is closer to six weeks, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. Flacco could be a No. 2 quarterback in some fantasy leagues, but owners may want to look for healthier options to use.

  • Posted: 7/26/2017 5:22pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (back) is dealing with back soreness and may be limited during the first few days of training camp, according to sources.

Huddle Up: It appears like Flacco is dealing with a minor injury and should be a full participant in a week or two. He threw for 4,317 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2016 but also had 15 interceptions. He will have a solid group of pass catchers this season but should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 6/1/2017 7:44pm ET

Baltimore Ravens RB Danny Woodhead was a frequent target of QB Joe Flacco during practice Thursday, June 1, and Woodhead was used in a variety of ways throughout the session.

Huddle Up: Woodhead is as dangerous as any back in the passing game, and he has been effective in the red zone throughout his career. He is a RB3 candidate in standard leagues and a potential RB2 in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 4/19/2017 11:53am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco said he will continue to wear a knee brace in order to protect his surgically repaired knee.

Huddle Up: Flacco threw for a career-best 4,317 yards in 2016 with 20 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. He will not have Steve Smith next season but should have a decent receiving corps and several options at tight end. Owners in all leagues should consider Flacco as a low-end No. 2 quarterback.

  • Posted: 2/21/2017 10:53pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco would become the player with the highest salary cap figure in the NFL for 2017 should Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo get cut or traded this offseason. Flacco is scheduled to count $24.55 million against the cap.

Huddle Up: Flacco is coming off two straight unspectacular seasons, as while he did register a career high in passing yards (4,317) in 2016, the fact remains he had just 20 touchdowns versus 15 interceptions, while the year prior, he had 14 touchdowns compared to 12 picks in 10 games. Certainly, Flacco has to step up his game considerably if he wants to enter the QB1 discussion again.

  • Posted: 1/10/2017 10:58am ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco passed for a career-high 4,317 yards in 2016 but finished with only 20 touchdowns (versus 15 interceptions) despite a career-high 672 attempts.

Huddle Up: Flacco should not have been expected to set the world on fire coming off his 2015 ACL injury, but the Ravens need to realize sooner or later he is not an upper-echelon quarterback. Baltimore also isn't doing him any favors with its constant turnover at offensive coordinator. Flacco should be more efficient in 2017, but he will be hard-pressed to be anything more than a middling QB2.

  • Posted: 12/12/2016 9:48pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 37 of his 52 pass attempts for 324 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 14 game against the New England Patriots Monday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Flacco had just two 300-yard performances in his first 11 games, and he has two over his past two outings. He isn't a bad streaming option in Week 15 against a Philadelphia Eagles defense which has been struggling of late.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 9:15pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco completed 36 of his 47 pass attempts for 381 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in the Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Huddle Up: Flacco entered the game with just 11 touchdown strikes over his first 11 games, so no one saw this performance coming. He remains more of a QB2 heading into Week 14 in New England on Monday Night Football despite the big outing.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 1:43pm ET

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco threw for 234 yards and a touchdown but was picked off once in a 19-14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: Flacco won't get you flashy numbers like a Drew Brees or Matt Ryan would, but he is effective. Flacco has 2,877 passing yards but only 11 touchdowns, giving him an advantage in yardage leagues. There are better quarterbacks, but Flacco should be on a roster as a backup.
