Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed 13 times for 114 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers and he added a touchdown on his only catch, a 12-yard reception.

Huddle Up: The Bills were punished by the Chargers, especially in the first half, but Shady still ended up giving his fantasy owners a pretty solid performance. He'll look to keep it going in Week 12 at Kansas City.

  • Posted: 11/15/2017 3:14pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (rest) was rested during practice on Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Huddle Up: It's rather customary for the veteran to take off from mid-week practices. He'll be just fine for Week 11 against the Chargers, and he'll be needed to run hard with Nathan Peterman making his first NFL start under center.

  • Posted: 11/2/2017 9:03pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy carried the ball 12 times for 25 yards against the New York Jets on Thursday, Nov. 2. He was targeted once as a receiver but did not register a catch.

Huddle Up: Thursday marked the third time this season that McCoy was shut down on the ground, but on the two previous occasions he'd salvaged some value in the passing game. Not tonight. The Jets completely hemmed in McCoy and made the Bills look elsewhere to beat them. It's a bitter pill for McCoy owners to swallow, but Shady's still the focal point of the offense and should be back in your lineup when the Bills host the Saints in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 2:45pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed 27 times for 151 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Oakland Raiders and he added six receptions for 22 yards on seven targets.

Huddle Up: McCoy certainly did his fantasy owners proud in this one, especially in PPR formats. He'll look to carry the momentum into Week 9 on Thursday night against the Jets. He posted 110 rushing yards and 49 receiving yards in Week 1 in the first meeting with New York.

  • Posted: 10/25/2017 1:15pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (rest) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Huddle Up: Shady was getting the regular mid-week veteran's rest, as the team looks to preserve him as much as possible for game day. He is expected to practice Thursday and Friday and he'll be ready for Week 8 against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 7:04pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed 23 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns and caught five passes for 31 yards in a 30-27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7.

Huddle Up: McCoy recently said he and his offensive line just needed some more time to figure out the zone-blocking scheme the coaching staff has implemented, and maybe this performance was a sign of things to come. Either way, McCoy's heavy workload should keep him in the RB1 conversation heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 10/14/2017 8:35pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy said he is disappointed with his season so far but believes the offense will adjust to head coach Sean McDermott's wide zone scheme.

Huddle Up: McCoy is off to a disappointing start, but he is still one of the few every-down backs in the NFL. With the Bills heading into their bye week, McCoy is a potential buy-low candidate.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 6:32pm ET

Buffalo Bills QB LeSean McCoy rushed 19 times for 63 yards in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added six receptions for 26 yards on nine targets.

Huddle Up: Shady rolled for 110 yards in Week 1 against the Jets, but he has managed 169 rushing yards over the past four outings. He also hasn't visited the end zone in five games, so that's a concern for fantasy owners, too. McCoy won't score until at least Week 7 now, as the team has a bye in Week 6.

  • Posted: 10/6/2017 1:41pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 5.

Huddle Up: McCoy will continue to be a main part of the offense and could be more involved in the passing game with Jordan Matthews ruled out. He should be considered a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/5/2017 2:04pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 5.

Huddle Up: McCoy is a main focus in the offense and may see more work in the passing game with Jordan Matthews sidelined with an injury. He should be a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/4/2017 1:47pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: McCoy has been receiving at least 20 touches per week and has been in involved in the passing game in addition to the running game. He can be considered a No. 1 fantasy running back against the Cincinnati Bengals this week.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 4:27pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy carried 20 times for 76 yards in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons and he added three receptions for 32 yards.

Huddle Up: McCoy didn't find the end zone, but at least he hit a bonus for some in fantasy leagues reward 100 or more total yards from scrimmage. He'll look to return to the end zone in Week 5 on the road against the Bengals.

  • Posted: 9/29/2017 12:05pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: McCoy will receive his normal workload and will continue to be a focal point in the team's offense this week. He has been held to 30 rushing yards over the last two games but has been involved in the passing game. He can be considered a low-end No. 1 fantasy running back in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/28/2017 12:05pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) participated fully in practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: McCoy is an automatic start this week against a vulnerable Atlanta Falcons defense. If the Bills fall behind like they're expected to, look for a solid amount of dump offs to McCoy. Plug him in as your starting RB1 per usual.

  • Posted: 9/27/2017 12:30pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: McCoy has one of the best matchups of any running back this week versus the Atlanta Falcons. As the Bills' primary offensive threat in both the running game and receiving game, McCoy is a no doubt RB1 option.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 2:57pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed 14 times for just 21 yards in Week 3 against the Broncos, although he did shake free for 48 yards on seven receptions.

Huddle Up: Fantasy owners in PPR leagues weren't completely buried by the poor rushing performance, but those in standard formats were certainly not smiling. He'll look to get back on track in Week 4 in Atlanta.

  • Posted: 9/21/2017 12:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: McCoy likely will receive his normal workload against a terrific Denver Broncos defense this week. He should continue to be a starting running back in all fantasy leagues but may see lower stats than usual against a tough matchup.

  • Posted: 9/20/2017 1:27pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (rest) was given the day off to rest on Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: It's typical for veterans get a mid-week practice off, preserving them for game day. Hopefully he studied up on game film while resting, as he was bottled up for just nine yards on 12 carries. He faces another tough matchup with the Broncos strolling into town in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 3:45pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy carried 12 times for just nine yards in Week 2 against the Panthers and he added six receptions for 34 yards.

Huddle Up: The high number of catches and receiving yardage salvaged the stat line somewhat for those in PPR formats, but Shady's day was a complete disaster for those in standard formats. He'll face another tough defense in Week 3 against the visiting Broncos.

  • Posted: 9/15/2017 12:10pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (groin, wrist) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 15, but is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: McCoy received a day of rest Friday but should receive his normal workload against the Carolina Panthers. He should be a No. 1 running back in all leagues since he will be involved in the running and passing game.

  • Posted: 9/15/2017 7:33am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (groin) is out of practice Friday, Sept. 15, due to some minor groin soreness, according to head coach Sean McDermott.

Huddle Up: McCoy had 110 rushing yards on 22 carries and five grabs for 49 yards in Week 1, and he remains a legit RB1 against the Carolina Panthers this week.

  • Posted: 9/14/2017 12:11pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 14.

Huddle Up: McCoy recorded 159 total yards in the first week of the season and should receive a similar workload in Week 2 against the Carolina Panthers. He will be facing a tougher defense this week but should continue to be a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/13/2017 1:03pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Huddle Up: McCoy was a bright spot at the running back position last week. He'll be one of the most highly used backs in the NFL this year if he can stay healthy and handle the workload. Start him every week regardless of the matchup.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 3:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy ran 22 times for 110 yards in a 21-12 win over the New York Jets on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Huddle Up: McCoy was already projected as an RB1 even before the season started, and this game proved he could handle the workload. McCoy is still projected as a top-echelon back, as it looks like he will get a boatload of carries.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 12:29pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (wrist) suffered a wrist injury in Week 1 but has been cleared to return.

Huddle Up: McCoy has been a big factor in the team's Week 1 game and will continue to be the main focal point on offense moving forward. He will be a No. 1 fantasy back as long as he is healthy.

  • Posted: 9/8/2017 12:07pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 1.

Huddle Up: McCoy will be the focal point for the Bills offense this season and likely will receive a significant amount of touches against the New York Jets this week. He should be a No. 1 running back in all leagues in Week 1.

  • Posted: 9/8/2017 8:49am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) was at practice Friday, Sept. 8, after missing a portion of the previous day's practice with a stomach bug.

Huddle Up: Shady looks to be a go for Sunday against the New York Jets as a solid RB1.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 6:11pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy had $2.5 million in incentives added to his contract, according to a source.

Huddle Up: McCoy looks primed to receive all the carries he can handle this season, so he could be earning those incentives if he plays all 16 games. He is locked in as a high-end RB1 against the Jets in Week 1.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 10:41am ET

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 7. McCoy missed a team portion of practice but returned later on.

Huddle Up: McCoy should be fine for the first game of the season. He's one of the better running back plays any week, but particularly this week against a weak Jets' defense. Start him without blinking.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 8:48am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) is out of practice due to a stomach bug Thursday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: Something like this that could cause him to lose weight and strength so close to Sunday isn't good. Friday will provide a clearer picture, but he's a midrange RB1 option against the New York Jets.

  • Posted: 9/6/2017 10:35am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy will be given whatever workload it takes to the win the game each week, according to head coach Sean McDermott, who suggested his starting running back could play every snap of every game this season Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Huddle Up: David Johnson far and away led all NFL running backs in snaps (964) and participation percentage (83.8) in 2016. Devonta Freeman (766, 67.3) did the season before. Both backs were at least five years younger and had a much better track record of staying healthy than McCoy. Over those same two seasons, McCoy hasn't logged more than 646 snaps or participated in more than 60.7 percent of his team's offensive plays. McCoy is a solid RB1 option, albeit one with the potential to miss some games this year.

  • Posted: 8/25/2017 2:35pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is expected to play in the preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday, Aug. 26, and may play as many snaps as the other starters. McCoy has not played in the third preseason in three years.

Huddle Up: McCoy probably will be pulled earlier than other players but will still see a good amount of snaps in the game. He should be a focal point on offense for the Bills this season and can be a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/22/2017 3:44pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is not on the trading block as has been widely speculated of late, according to sources.

Huddle Up: From the outside looking in, the Bills seem to be in somewhat of a rebuilding mode after trading their best receiver in Sammy Watkins. New head coach Sean McDermott isn't ready to go full rebuild apparently. McCoy remains a top-five fantasy running back in all scoring formats, although some touchdowns may be vultured by Jonathan Williams.

  • Posted: 8/7/2017 2:40pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy has a chance to lead the Bills in receptions this season, in the opinion of WKBW.com's Joe Buscaglia.

Huddle Up: McCoy will be a focal point in the offense this season and probably will be more involved in the passing game than he was in previous seasons. McCoy will be a No. 1 running back in all leagues but more involvement in the passing game would help his value even more.

  • Posted: 8/2/2017 6:29am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) returned to practice Wednesday, Aug. 2.

Huddle Up: McCoy had a comeback season last year, but the tread on his tires are wearing thin at 29. He's an RB1 with PPR punch, but he carries some risk and a lengthy injury history, too.

  • Posted: 8/1/2017 5:32am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) will miss practice Tuesday, Aug. 1, due to illness.

Huddle Up: McCoy was stellar last season, but the 29-year-old has a number of injuries in his past. He's a solid RB1, but with his PPR upside comes significant risk on what could be a bad team.

  • Posted: 7/29/2017 8:17am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy will have his workload in training camp 'managed,' according to head coach Sean McDermott, who added that it is 'too early to determine' how the depth chart will stack up behind his top running back.

Huddle Up: McCoy enjoyed another banner season in 2016, but he is entering his age-29 season and has a history of soft-tissue injuries, so the Bills have little choice but to make sure they keep him as healthy as possible. McCoy is a solid choice in fantasy after the elite backs are gone, although his injury risk should give owners a bit of pause. Consider him a high-end RB1 with significant risk and upside.

  • Posted: 7/27/2017 6:45pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy made practice look 'effortless' Thursday, July 27, according to Joe Buscaglia of WKBW.com, and Buscaglia believes McCoy will 'define the offense in 2017.'

Huddle Up: McCoy is coming off an excellent year and is in a great position as the lead back in a run-first offense. He should be treated as a midrange RB1.

  • Posted: 7/21/2017 8:27pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy said he still feels young and owes his longevity to his ability to avoid big hits.

Huddle Up: McCoy ranked sixth in the NFL in rushing last year and third in yards per carry, so he isn't exactly slowing down at age 29. He is set to lead Buffalo's run-heavy offense and should be a safe RB1 option this season.

  • Posted: 7/13/2017 6:13pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy said he is excited about the zone running scheme offensive coordinator Rick Dennison is implementing this year. 'With this offense they give you different options whether it's inside or outside,' McCoy said. 'When you want to stretch it, you can stretch it just enough to get the DBs where you want them so you can cut inside.'

Huddle Up: Coming off a season when he ran for more than 1,200 yards and scored 14 times, McCoy is again set to be the lead back in one of the best rushing offenses in the league. Pencil him in as a dependable RB1.

  • Posted: 6/14/2017 11:43am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) is participating in practice Wednesday, June 14.

Huddle Up: McCoy will have a big role on offense for the Bills this season and should be one of the top running backs in the NFL. Owners in all leagues should consider McCoy as a No. 1 fantasy running back.

  • Posted: 6/13/2017 5:19pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (illness) did not participate in practice Tuesday, June 13, because of an illness.

Huddle Up: McCoy should be fine for the start of training camp and could even practice later this week. He should be the focal point in the offense for the Bills this season and will be a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 5/29/2017 12:53pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is excited as a pass-catcher in the Bills' new offense. He explained that the Bills throw it to the running backs a lot in new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison's offense. Additionally, Dennison makes it harder on defenses because the Bills line up in the same formation a lot.

Huddle Up: McCoy is already an RB1 in both standard and PPR formats. He's one of the best pass-catching running backs in the league when given the opportunity, and it sounds like he'll be given plenty of opportunities in the passing game. Draft him with a mid- to late-first round pick.

  • Posted: 5/20/2017 7:02pm ET

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Rick Dennison said he likes 'ball possession' and believes RB LeSean McCoy, the running game and the offensive line are the strengths of the offense.

Huddle Up: After topping 1,200 yard and scoring 13 times last year, it sounds like McCoy could be busy again in 2017. He should be the focal point of a run-first offense and a midrange RB1.

  • Posted: 4/4/2017 7:40am ET

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy is absent from voluntary workouts this week, and head coach Sean McDermott said he didn't know when McCoy would report. McDermott said he was encouraged by his conversations with McCoy since he took over as coach.

Huddle Up: Shady had the best year he has had in three or four years with a career-high 5.4 yards per rush, 1,267 rushing yards, 13 scores and a 50-356-1 line through the air. Injuries are always a concern with him, though. He's a midrange RB1 in fantasy.

  • Posted: 4/3/2017 9:19am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy was absent from the first day of offseason workouts Monday, April 3.

Huddle Up: McCoy posted on his Instagram that it's his son's fifth birthday, so there's nothing to worry about on that front. McCoy is a midrange RB1 but has had some health concerns of late.

  • Posted: 2/26/2017 4:51pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy sent out a tweet Sunday, Feb. 26, which said, 'Buffalo was so special.' However, a source with knowledge of the situation said that the tweet referred to an autograph signing and not McCoy's future with the team.

Huddle Up: McCoy is coming off an excellent all-around season, and he is a RB1 candidate heading into 2017.

  • Posted: 2/17/2017 6:32am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy could be a surprise cut this offseason, in the opinion of NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal. McCoy isn't a perfect fit in offensive coordinator Rick Dennison's one-cut running system. If McCoy is designated as a post-June 1 cut, the team recoups $6.25 million in cap room.

Huddle Up: McCoy quietly had a big year. His 5.4 yards per rush was the best of his career. He had 1,267 rushing yards, 14 total TDs, 50 grabs and 356 receiving yards. He's 29 this year, and injuries are always a concern. However, he re-established his RB1 value.

  • Posted: 2/4/2017 10:06am ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy said he believes he is the best running back in the NFL if he is healthy.

Huddle Up: McCoy ranked sixth in the NFL with his 1,267 rushing yards and fourth in rushing touchdowns even though he missed one game because of an injury. He also caught 50 passes for 356 yards and one touchdown. He should continue to be one of the top running backs in the league and should be a No. 1 running back for all owners.

  • Posted: 1/23/2017 5:14pm ET

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 11 of his 13 touchdowns at home this season.

Huddle Up: McCoy was one of the best running back in the NFL this season, finishing in the top 10 in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. McCoy should continue to be a focal point on offense under head coach Sean McDermott and likely will be one of the first running back taken in fantasy drafts.
