Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (concussion) sustained a concussion in a 27-14 loss to the Houston Texans Saturday, Jan. 7.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has 174 catches, 1,925 yards and 17 scores in two years with Oakland, and he should be a quality WR2 in 2017.

  • Posted: 1/7/2017 4:35pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (head) left the Wild Card playoff game Saturday, Jan. 7, in the fourth quarter to be evaluated for a concussion.

Huddle Up: Andre Holmes formed a connection with quarterback Connor Cook almost immediately after Crabtree departed and seems likely to play out the rest of the game with Crabtree unlikely to return.

  • Posted: 1/7/2017 12:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) is officially active for the Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Crabtree should be in the starting lineup against the Texans and will see a decent amount of targets during the game. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues even though the team is starting their third-string quarterback.

  • Posted: 1/6/2017 1:34pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 6, and is listed as questionable for the Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Crabtree should receive his normal workload against the Texans despite the injury. His fantasy status will be affected by the team's quarterback situation but can still be a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 1/5/2017 3:46pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Jan. 5.

Huddle Up: As is the case with Cooper, don't expect gaudy numbers from Crabtree with Derek Carr sidelined. Connor Cook was OK in his first NFL action last week, but he's no Carr. Plus, the Houston Texans were one of the best pass defenses in the NFL in 2016, and the Raiders will be away from home. Crabtree is a risky start for those in playoff contests.

  • Posted: 1/4/2017 4:20pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has caught at least five passes in five of the last six games and has two touchdowns during that span. He should continue to be a main part of the passing game, but his value will be affected by the team's quarterback situation. Crabtree can still be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in playoff fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/1/2017 12:51pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 17 game.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been a solid option for fantasy owners this season and should have a solid role in the passing game in Week 17. His value may drop some since Matt McGloin will be the starting quarterback, but he can still be a No. 3 receiver in leagues.

  • Posted: 12/30/2016 7:39pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Friday, Dec. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Crabtree will likely suit up, but with Matt McGloin under center against a stingy Denver secondary, he is no more than a risky WR3 in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/29/2016 7:49pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 29.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been a reliable WR3 most of the year, but a matchup with Denver's tough corners and an injury to Derek Carr make him a risky play in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/28/2016 6:47pm ET

Oakland Raiders RB Michael Crabtree (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been dealing with a multitude of injuries down the stretch, but so far he has continued to play through them. He is expected to play in Week 17, as the team is still battling for home-field advantage in the AFC playoffs.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 7:58pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree posted seven receptions for 90 yards on 10 targets in the Week 16 game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has had an excellent season, but he might struggle in fantasy leagues in Week 17 and into postseason pools with Matt McGloin at the helm and not Derek Carr.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 6:30am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) is expected to play in Week 16's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He should see plenty of targets this afternoon and has a favorable matchup, making him worthy of consideration as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 option.

  • Posted: 12/23/2016 3:12pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been playing well despite the injury with two touchdowns in his last three games and at least 60 yards in three of his last four games. He should at least be considered a No. 3 receiver in most leagues and could be a low-end No. 2 receiver in some deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 12/22/2016 6:19pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 22.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been Oakland's best receiver in recent weeks, and he should be a high-floor WR3 against Indianapolis in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/21/2016 5:55pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been targeted at least seven times in each of the last five games and has two touchdowns in his last three games. He will have a favorable matchup in Week 16 and should be considered at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 3:12pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Crabtree should be able to see his normal workload in Week 15 as long as he is active for the game. He has been a bit inconsistent in terms of his weekly receiving yards this season but has been targeted at least seven times in six of his last seven games. Owners should consider him as at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/15/2016 4:07pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) was limited at practice for the second straight day Thursday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: Crabtree injured his finger last Thursday versus the Chiefs and struggled as a result. While his production has been all over the place lately, the fact remains that the former San Francisco 49er has drawn at least seven targets in six of the last seven games. Considering his regular involvement in this potent offense, he's still a WR3 worth plugging in.

  • Posted: 12/14/2016 7:21pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 14, due to the finger injury he suffered in last week's game in Kansas City.

Huddle Up: Crabtree's status for this week is a tad bit uncertain until he is able to practice in full. He posted seven grabs for 47 yards and a touchdown in the first game against the San Diego Chargers, this week's opponent, so fantasy owners hope he is ready.

  • Posted: 12/12/2016 4:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) is dealing with a finger injury similar to QB Derek Carr's (finger) injury. Head coach Jack Del Rio said both Crabtree and Carr will play through the injuries. Carr has already done so.

Huddle Up: It remains to be seen if Crabtree's finger will affect his catching ability. If San Diego Chargers CB Casey Hayward shadows Amari Cooper next week, then Crabtree could see plenty of targets. Despite the injury, he's a low-end WR2 to high-end WR3 option this week.

  • Posted: 12/10/2016 8:22am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) said he will undergo X-rays on his left ring finger after aggravating a previous injury during Week 14's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: It is believed that Crabtree suffered a dislocated finger for the second time, although he was able to return to action after sustaining the injury. He finished the contest with four receptions and 21 yards, after being targeted seven times. Barring a setback, Crabtree is expected to be available for the team's next game against the San Diego Chargers Dec. 18.

  • Posted: 12/8/2016 9:25pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree caught four of his seven targets for 21 yards in a 21-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: The entire passing attack struggled in this one. The offense should bounce back against San Diego in Week 14, and Crabtree will be a low-end WR2 or luxury WR3.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 10:39pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (finger) racked up seven receptions for 74 yards with a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the Buffalo Bills. He was targeted 11 times. Crabtree left the game briefly to have his left ring finger popped back into place.

Huddle Up: Crabtree returned to the game with his ring finger and pinkie taped together, and he did not skip a beat. He remains a must-start fantasy option in all leagues heading into Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 11:55am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 13.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been able to play with the injury and posted 110 yards in the last game. He should continue to see a solid amount of targets in the passing game and can be a low-end No. 2 or a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 6:35am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) is expected to play in Week 13's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was a limited participant in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report, although he has continued to be productive while hurt. He had eight receptions for 110 yards in Week 12 and should be viewed as a solid No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 2:41pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: Ronald Darby, who was expected to see Crabtree the most Sunday, was ruled out earlier in the day, making Crabtree an even stronger WR2 play than already was. While another eight-catch day may not be in the cards for him this week, he's looking like a strong bet to end a four-game streak without a touchdown.

  • Posted: 12/1/2016 7:22pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 1.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has remained productive despite the injury, and he should be no worse than a high-end WR3 against Buffalo in Week 13.

  • Posted: 11/30/2016 5:54pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Crabtree posted eight catches and 110 yards in Week 12 and should see a solid amount of targets in Week 13 despite the injury. He can be a solid No. 2 or No. 3 receiver depending on the size of the league.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 10:42pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) posted eight receptions for 110 yards in the Week 12 game against the Carolina Panthers. He was targeted a game-high 13 times.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He rebounded rather nicely after being limited to five yards last week. He remains a low-end WR1 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 13 despite a couple of stinkers in the previous two games.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 12:35pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 12 game.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been quiet over the last two games but should receive a decent amount of targets in Week 12. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 7:35am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) appears likely to play in Week 12's game against the Carolina Panthers, although he will test his ankle in pregame warmups before a final decision is made.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was limited in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He should receive a decent amount of targets this afternoon and should be considered as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 11/25/2016 1:40pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited in practice all week and has been listed as questionable for Week 12 versus the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Crabtree is coming off a highly disappointing game and struggled with drops in the Monday night win over the Houston Texans in Mexico City. He'll have his work cut out for him as he'll likely draw impressive rookie James Bradberry in coverage, but he's a trusted option for Derek Carr and should be a serviceable WR3 as a result.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 4:56pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Crabtree should be able to play in Week 12 unless he suffers a setback during practice. He has been a bit inconsistent over the last several weeks and has recorded only 32 yards in the last two games. He should continue to receive a solid amount of targets in the passing game and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/21/2016 9:47pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree had three receptions for just five yards in the Week 11 game against the Houston Texans Monday, Nov. 21, in Mexico City. He was targeted seven times.

Huddle Up: It was a strange stat line for Crabtree, and it's uncertain why he and Derek Carr were unable to get on the same page. Crabtree will bounce back in Week 12 against a leaky Carolina Panthers pass defense and he should still be trusted as a low-end WR1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 10/30/2016 4:32pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree hauled in eight receptions for 108 yards on 16 targets in the Week 8 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was held out of the end zone for just the second time in the past five games, but the yardage total was a season high. He has seven or more receptions in five of his eight games this season, re-emerging as a must-start fantasy option in all formats this season.

  • Posted: 10/26/2016 7:02pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree is tied for the NFL lead with six touchdown receptions, and he and WR Amari Cooper have combined for 375 yards and 22 first downs on third down, both first among all NFL duos.

Huddle Up: Crabtree had some tough seasons in San Francisco with inconsistency and plenty of injuries, but he has finally reached his full potential in Oakland jelling rather nicely with Derek Carr. He is a low-end WR1 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  • Posted: 10/23/2016 8:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree hauled in eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Week 7 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was targeted 11 times.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option this season after many injury-marred seasons and inconsistency, especially early on in his days in San Francisco. He is a legitimate WR1 in most fantasy leagues right now.

  • Posted: 10/2/2016 7:44pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree posted seven receptions for 88 yards and three touchdowns in the Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was targeted a game-high 12 times.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has posted 87 or more receiving yards in three of his four games, as he has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option across the board in all formats.

  • Posted: 9/25/2016 8:13pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree hauled in eight receptions for 102 yards on a game-high 11 targets in the Week 3 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has developed a nice rapport with Derek Carr, racking up at least four receptions in each of his three games while posting 87 or more yards in two of his three outings. He has re-emerged as a solid WR2 in most fantasy formats and will remain so as long as he can avoid the injury bug.

  • Posted: 9/11/2016 7:26pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree had a team-high seven receptions for 87 yards in the Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints. He also had the key game-winning two-point conversion reception late in the fourth quarter.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was targeted nine times and looked like a solid low-end WR2 for most fantasy owners. This was a very favorable matchup against a poor Saints secondary. The Raiders face another favorable matchup in Week 2 with a visit from the Atlanta Falcons, a team that allowed four passing touchdowns in Week 1.

  • Posted: 8/28/2016 9:31pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree said he has been practicing all the routes during practice and continues to improve his chemistry with QB Derek Carr.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was a potent complement to Amari Cooper last year, and he should land firmly in WR3 territory again in 2016.
