Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree caught three passes for 32 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Crabtree continues to have a big role in the passing game based on his targets but has been held to 63 total yards over the last two games. He may have more success against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11 and could be a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 1:32pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree posted just three grabs for 31 yards on five targets in the Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Crabtree is still searching for his first 100-yard game of the season, and he has managed just one score over his past seven outings. He remains a decent low-end WR3 or flex option in most PPR leagues, but he has devolved into a WR4 in standard play. He'll face the Steelers in Week 9. Crabtree had just three grabs for a season-low 29 yards in the first meetings in Week 4.

  • Posted: 10/26/2018 12:04pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been a solid contributor for fantasy owners this season with at least 60 yards in four of the last five games. He is one of the focal points in the Ravens passing game and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in leagues.

  • Posted: 10/25/2018 1:42pm ET

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 25.

Huddle Up: Crabtree continues to be a big part of the Ravens passing game and has been targeted at least eight times in each of the last six games. Owners in most leagues can consider Crabtree a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

  • Posted: 10/24/2018 1:10pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WRs Michael Crabtree (non-injury related) and John Brown (non-injury related) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Huddle Up: This was likely just an off day for the veteran receivers. Look for them to return to a full practice tomorrow. Brown possesses WR2 upside as Baltimore's go-to deep threat, while Crabtree is more of a flex consideration as Joe Flacco's possession receiver.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 9:20pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree caught six of his nine targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in a 21-0 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 6.

Huddle Up: It was Crabtree's first touchdown since Week 1 and his best receiving game of the year. He's had a steady role in the passing attack, but he hasn't had a big enough role to be more than a WR4.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 2:13pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree posted six grabs for 66 yards in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns on 12 targets.

Huddle Up: It was almost a much better day, as Crabtree nearly reeled in a game-winning touchdown grab in back of the end zone near the end of regulation. However, while Joe Flacco put it right there for the heroics, Crabtree failed to grab it. It was a tough one, but Crabtree should have had it. He'll try to redeem himself in Week 6 against the Titans.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 1:47pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has been targeted at least eight times in each of the last three games but has been held to under 65 yards in every game. He will be facing a solid Cleveland Browns defense and may only be a flex option in some deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 10:49am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (non-injury) returned to practice Thursday, Oct. 4, after sitting out the previous day.

Huddle Up: Crabtree is coming off a season-worst three-catch, 29-yard outing on eight targets in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and with fellow WRs John Brown and Willie Snead getting steady targets on a weekly basis as well, it's hard to fully trust him as a fantasy starter outside of deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 2:26pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree (not injury related) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 3

Huddle Up: Crabtree was getting a veteran's mid-week practice off, which is customary around the league. He had some issues with drops in the game in Pittsburgh, but he still has WR3 or flex fantasy ability heading into the Week 5 game with the Cleveland Browns.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 10:00pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree finished with seven catches and 61 yards on 10 targets in Week 3 against the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: Crabtree has amassed 10 targets in back-to-back games, although his 117 yards on the 12 receptions he has made over that time isn't exactly the stuff of legend. Nevertheless, he appears to have earned complete trust in Joe Flacco in the short passing game, and his volume - assuming it continues - is going to keep firmly on the WR3 radar. Keep him in lineups - especially PPR - in Week 4 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

  • Posted: 9/13/2018 9:06pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree caught five passes for 56 yards Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Cincinnati Bengals.

Huddle Up: The veteran possession receiver was good for 11 PPR points, which is acceptable if that is considered a down game. He's a borderline WR3/flex play most weeks and occasionally offers WR2 utility with the right matchup. Week 3 vs. the Denver Broncos probably won't be that matchup.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 5:41pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree hauled in three receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills on six targets.

Huddle Up: Crabtree had to share the wealth with fellow newcomers John Brown and Willie Snead, as those receivers also scored. Despite the even numbers across the board, Crabtree is still the preferred fantasy option among the Baltimore receiving corps. The Ravens travel to meet the Bengals in Week 2 on Thursday.

  • Posted: 7/31/2018 9:26am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree has been 'a popular target' for Joe Flacco in red zone drill this summer, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

Huddle Up: This should not come as a surprise, as Crabtree was also a favorite of Derek Carr near the goal line for the Oakland Raiders. Baltimore also doesn't possess much size at receiver outside of Crabtree, as John Brown and Willie Snead are both six feet tall and weigh less than 200 pounds. Crabtree should be a fine WR3 with WR2 upside in fantasy this season.

  • Posted: 7/6/2018 8:17pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree's 579 career receptions are more than the rest of Baltimore's receivers combined, and Crabtree's eight touchdown receptions last year were just three fewer than all of Baltimore's receivers combined.

Huddle Up: Crabtree should immediately become Joe Flacco's most dependable target, especially in the red zone. He's a WR3 candidate in 2018.

  • Posted: 5/25/2018 10:38am ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree was called 'the guy' by QB Joe Flacco when the latter was asked about chemistry with his new receivers following an OTA session on Thursday, May 24.

Huddle Up: The Ravens did well to add a plethora of veteran receivers such as John Brown and Willie Snead, but Crabtree is the only receiver on the roster who has experienced any prolonged NFL success. Owners should expect well over 100 targets for Crabtree, who should be able to contend for WR2 status in fantasy if he can stay healthy this season.

  • Posted: 3/18/2018 6:17pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Crabtree will be 'a reliable receiver' for QB Joe Flacco, according to retired WR Anquan Boldin. 'I had a chance to play with Crab for two or three years out in San Francisco,' Boldin said. 'Like I said, competitive guy, he?s a crafty guy, a veteran guy, a guy that can really catch the ball.'

Huddle Up: Crabtree should immediately become Baltimore's top possession guy, and he's also been productive in the red zone. The Baltimore passing game isn't great, but Crabtree should still be a solid WR3 in 2018.

  • Posted: 3/16/2018 3:28pm ET

The Baltimore Ravens reached an agreement with free-agent WR Michael Crabtree (Raiders) on a three-year contract on Friday, March 16, according to a source. Financial details were undisclosed.

Huddle Up: Crabtree takes the place of Ryan Grant, who had his deal nullified due to a medical issue. The veteran receiver is probably a better addition than Grant anyway, as the latter never had a 100-yard game. Crabtree is likely to slot as the No. 1 receiver in Baltimore, and he'll be a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option in 2018.

  • Posted: 3/16/2018 5:17am ET

Free-agent WR Michael Crabtree (Raiders) will visit the Baltimore Ravens Friday, March 16.

Huddle Up: Crabtree can be a solid WR3 in PPR, but he'll need volume targets to reach that. He has some bust potential.

  • Posted: 3/15/2018 12:55pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree was released Thursday, March 15, according to a source.

Huddle Up: This move was expected under the condition that the Raiders would be signing Jordy Nelson, so look for that to come to fruition soon. Crabtree will have teams interested in him but is at the point in his career where he can't be drafted as more than a WR3.

  • Posted: 3/13/2018 7:38pm ET

The Oakland Raiders might release WR Michael Crabtree if they are able to land free-agent WR Jordy Nelson. If the Raiders release Crabtree it would result in more than $7 million in cash and cap savings.

Huddle Up: Adding Nelson to a mix with Crabtree and Amari Cooper would be intriguing and an upgrade. Adding Nelson to replace Crabtree seems like a lateral move, at best, and perhaps a downgrade given his diminished skills last season. True, Aaron Rodgers was out for nine games in Green Bay, affecting the receiving corps. But Nelson wasn't that great even with Rodgers under center.

  • Posted: 2/27/2018 7:20pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree has met with head coach Jon Gruden in the past month, and the expectation is Crabtree will return for the 2018 season.

Huddle Up: Crabtree was rumored to be a cut candidate given his rough finish to last season and the fact his $7.5 million in salary and bonuses isn't guaranteed for next season, but the meeting with Gruden must have gone pretty well. Given how well Gruden schemes his key players open, Crabtree should bounce back nicely in 2018.

  • Posted: 2/16/2018 6:56pm ET

Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said one of his goals this year is to 'get the best' out of WR Michael Crabtree.

Huddle Up: Crabtree's numbers slipped a bit last year, but he still managed at least eight touchdowns for the third year in a row. He should be a solid bench option with WR3 potential in 2018.

  • Posted: 12/31/2017 9:38am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree is expected to be released after the season, according to sources.

Huddle Up: Crabtree is entering Week 17 with 601 yards and eight touchdowns this season and should receive some interest if he becomes a free agent. He has a chance to be a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver for owners in 2018 depending on his team.

  • Posted: 12/27/2017 6:40pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree (hamstring) dealt with a hamstring injury late in the club's Week 16 game Monday, Dec. 25, opposite the Philadelphia Eagles, according to head coach Jack Del Rio. It also affected his workload as a result.

Huddle Up: Well, this explains Crabtree's heartbreaking goose egg in the game, although owners probably don't want to hear anything further after the nine-year veteran's disastrous performance cost countless fantasy championships across the country. Nonetheless, Crabtree is still a WR2 option going into the season finale, especially after he generated a whopping 41 targets over his three outings prior to Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/25/2017 9:50pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree failed to haul in any of his three targets, finishing with zero yards in the team's Week 16 defeat Monday, Dec. 25, against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Huddle Up: Ouch. Owners who were relying on Crabtree to potentially deliver a fantasy championship were gifted coal in a cruel twist of fate, especially after how the veteran wide-out totaled a whopping 20 catches over his previous three games. The Raiders offense was just way off tonight, and one of the results of that was Crabtree's heartbreaking goose egg.

  • Posted: 12/18/2017 6:05am ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree had seven catches for 39 yards and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday, Dec. 17.

Huddle Up: He's inconsistent, but he still ends up as a WR2 in terms of fantasy points for the season. He's a weekly flex option with boom or bust potential.

  • Posted: 12/4/2017 2:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree was activated from the Reserve/Suspended list Monday, Dec. 4. The team also waived DT Darius Latham.

Huddle Up: Crabtree returns after his one-game suspension and will be in the starting lineup against the Kansas City Chiefs. He should see a solid amount of targets during the game and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/28/2017 4:35pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree's original two-game suspension was reduced to one game as a result of his appeal Tuesday, Nov. 28, according to a source.

Huddle Up: As for this week, the Raiders could very well be without both Crabtree and Amari Cooper as Cooper is dealing with injuries. If that ends up being the case, Seth Roberts becomes an immediate fantasy sleeper in a plus matchup versus the New York Giants.

  • Posted: 11/27/2017 8:31pm ET

Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree will be appealing his two-game suspension, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Crabtree probably will have to serve a suspension, but he could have it be dropped to one game. Owners will need to look for a ruling on the situation in the next few days. Seth Roberts, Cordarrelle Patterson and Johnny Holton would see more playing time if Crabtree is out, but they are not strong fantasy options.

  • Posted: 11/27/2017 6:26pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree has been suspended two games without pay for his altercation with Denver Broncos CB Aqib Talib in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Crabtree likely will appeal the suspension, so owners should keep an eye on the situation over the next few days. Cordarrelle Patterson, Johnny Holton and Seth Roberts would see more targets if Crabtree sits out but none are great fantasy options.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 1:43pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree was ejected from the team's Week 12 game after an altercation with Denver Broncos CB Aqib Talib.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation because Crabtree could also be suspended for Week 13 because of the incident. Crabtree has been playing well this season, but owners will need other options ready in case Crabtree misses another game.
