The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens caught seven passes for 213 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 12 game.
The Huddle Take: This just goes to show you how much Terrell Owens has missed quarterback Tony Romo who has been out with a hand injury. Owens returned to his dominant form in Week 12 and should be primed for some nice numbers for the remainder of the season. The Cowboys have their annual game on Thanksgiving this coming week and it appears that Seattle could be running into a buzz saw with the Cowboy offense starting to click.

ESPN.com reports there are concerns within the Dallas Cowboys organization whether QB Brad Johnson can incorporate WR Terrell Owens and the team's other receivers in the downfield passing game. According to a high-ranking team source, the team will likely start Johnson in Week 9. However, the source said Johnson's obvious limitations within the offense might prompt head coach Wade Phillips and his staff to consider other options, including No. 3 QB Brooks Bollinger.
The Huddle Take: Look for Johnson to have a short leash this Sunday against the Giants. If he looks as inept as he did against Tampa Bay, expect the Cowboys to take their chances with Bollinger. The Giants have a much more explosive offense than do the Buccaneers, and the Cowboys will have to produce much more than the 172 yards of total offense they did in Week 8.

The Dallas Morning News reports Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said he is not concerned about WR Terrell Owens' comments about his role within the offense. "We have quite a few good players," Phillips said. "We didn't get the ball to Marion Barber. We didn't get the ball enough to Terrell last game. It's a good problem to have, but we need to be able to rectify it by controlling the ball more. Making more first downs, having longer drives... those kinds of things to help everybody get the ball."
The Huddle Take: Phillips doesn't need to worry, as the same source reported that T.O. had a "serious talk" with Tony Romo regarding concerns he's had about routes and throws since the start of the season so all these issues should be worked out... just as long as Romo throws the ball to T.O. on every play.

The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens caught seven passes for 71 yards and one touchdown in the team's Week 4 game. He also rushed for 11 yards on two carries in the game.
The Huddle Take: After the Packers were successful in taking T.O. out of last week's game the Cowboys added a couple wrinkles (the running plays) to get the ball into his hands. Tony Romo also had more success getting him the ball in the passing game as well, though from T.O.'s postgame comments it wasn't quite enough to his likeness.

Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens has 12 receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns in two career games against the Cleveland Browns. Eight of the 12 catches went for first downs.
The Huddle Take: Not that you wouldn't have started him, but here is just a bit more of an incentive. Look for a good production day from TO this weekend, to kickstart a stellar season.

The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens (undisclosed) returned to practice during the evening session Monday, Aug. 4, after receiving a break the previous two sessions. 'He's a little, not sore, just precautionary,' head coach Wade Phillips said.
The Huddle Take: It is unclear as to why Owens has been given some extra time off the last few days but it does not appear to be anything of major concern at the present time. Owens remains a solid No. 1 elite receiver for a Dallas team that looks to be one of the best entering the regular season. Draft Owens with confidence as your No. 1 fantasy wideout as he looks to in position to post some huge numbers as the Cowboys make another run at the Super Bowl this year.
Posted: 6/17/2008 1:09pm et
Tim McMahon, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens (personal) will not make an appearance at the team's mandatory minicamp this week, according to a team spokesman. Owens took his physical Monday, June 16, and was excused for the remainder of the week. He is dealing with personal matters unrelated to his drug-testing issue.
The Huddle Take: This does not appear to be anything to be concerned about at this stage since the Cowboys have not indicated there is any kind of problem with Owens missing the mandatory mini-camp to take care of his personal matters. Owens should once again be one of the top receivers in the game in 2008 and should thrive in the potent Dallas passing game.
Posted: 6/3/2008 10:53am et
The Dallas Cowboys have given veteran wideout Terrell Owens a new 4-year deal worth $34 million which includes $13 million in guaranteed money in 2008. Owens is now one of the leagues top paid receivers with the new deal along with Javon Walker, Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald.
The Huddle Take: Dallas has locked up the services of Owens through the 2011 season and given the Cowboys their star reciever in the passing game to build around. Fantasy owners should consider Owens again as a solid No. 1 reciever on a team that will throw the ball alot in 2008. He should be one of the top receivers taken on draft day in leagues of any format.
Posted: 1/30/2008 8:56am et
Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens has lost his arbitration against his former team the Philadelphia Eagles and must pay $769,120 which he owes the team after an arbitrator ruled in favor of the Eagles. The money owed is part of the signing bonus Owens was paid by the team when he signed a contract with them in 2004.
The Huddle Take: Owens is expected to receive a $3 million roster bonus in the near future which should give him some money to settle his debt with the Eagles. The Cowboy receiver should be considered a No. 1 wideout once again for 2008 since he will likely remain with the Dallas Cowboys and their high-octane offense.
Posted: 1/23/2008 9:06am et
According to reports the Dallas Cowboys are expected to pay WR Terrell Owens a $3 million roster bonus and bring the talented receiver back to Dallas for another season.
"Yes, we are going to have Terrell back," Jones said. Jones also said the team would consider a contract extension for Owens "down the line."
The Huddle Take: All indications are good for Owens remaining a solid No. 1 wideout in the high-octane offense of Dallas for 2008. Fantasy owners should move Owens up their fantasy draft charts even higher this season since he has built a solid repor with QB Tony Romo and remained focused on football instead of distractions.
