St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said the team will look to get WR Brian Quick more involved down the stretch. Quick has been limited to a handful of plays at wide receiver each week, but he's becoming more comfortable in a special teams role as the season progresses. Quick saw more action with WR Chris Givens disciplined last week, and he's learning to react more in his routes instead of thinking his way through them. Quick's touchdown play last week has given him the needed confidence moving forward.
Huddle Up: This is great for Quick's longterm value, not so much for this season. Quick is still a raw rookie, and his touchdown catch came because he knocked over the defender, who was trying to jam him at the line. This is more of a dynasty league stash than a redraft addition.

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick has been slow to show much or play much, and he hasn't looked ready to play. The team's second-round draft pick has the size to give the team much-needed help in the red zone and on third down.
Huddle Up: Of the 6 WRs who have seen action for the Rams this season, Quick is bringing up the rear with 5 catches for 90 yards, and he and Steve Smith are the only wideouts without a TD reception. When it comes to Rams rookie receivers, Quick has been completely overshadowed by fourth-rounder Chris Givens, who has flashed big-play ability with 13 catches for 333 yards (an eye-popping 25.6 average) and 2 TDs.

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher wants to get WRs Chris Givens and Brian Quick time with the first-team offense in the preseason finale, although he also admitted WR Steve E. Smith hasn't had much chance to work with QB Sam Bradford either. 'Yes, there's a chance I'll move them up. I'd like to see Givens and Quick in there, but they're all young receivers,' Fisher said. 'You take, for example, Steve Smith's case. He hasn't really had an opportunity to work with Sam. We'll play as many as we can earlier in the game and with the numbers down, they'll be playing throughout the game.'
Huddle Up: Holdovers Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson currently are pencilled in as the team's starters, but don't be surprised if a clear-cut No. 1 wideout doesn't emerge all season. The rookies, Quick and Givens, certainly are in the mix, while Smith has impressed in camp.

St. Louis Rams rookie WRs Brian Quick and Chris Givens will both see action for
the team. The straight ahead speed Givens brings to the table may allow him to
see a bit more time than Quick, who has had some dropped balls and is still
learning to use his size in the NFL.
Huddle Up: The St. Louis WR situation is one of the league's biggest preseason mysteries.
Vets Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson are listed as the team's starters, and
free-agent Steve Smith has impressed but Quick, a second-round pick, and
Givens, a fourth-rounder, also are definitely in the mix. It remains to be seen,
though, if anyone here will emerge as a viable fantasy option outside of Amendola,
and possibly Smith, in PPR leagues.
