Oakland Raiders WR Brandon LaFell (Achilles') was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Nov. 19.

Huddle Up: With LaFell out for the year, Marcell Ateman is thrust into the spotlight after catching four passes on five targets for 50 yards yesterday. He's worth claiming off waivers if available.

Oakland Raiders WR Brandon LaFell is in line to be the team's No. 1 wide receiver Sunday, Nov. 18, with fellow WRs Jordy Nelson (knee) and Martavis Bryant (knee) both expected to miss Week 11 with knee injuries.

Huddle Up: LaFell has paced all Oakland wideouts with 10 catches for 106 yards and a TD over the last three games and is a deeper-league desperation option today for teams hurting for WRs.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 7:53pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Brandon LaFell checked in with four grabs and 47 yards on six targets in the Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Huddle Up: LaFell is starting to get more comfortable and more involved in the Oakland offense, stepping up to try and fill the void left by the departed Amari Cooper. Still, he remains nothing more than a WR5 in deeper fantasy leagues heading into Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Posted: 10/30/2018 8:42pm ET

Oakland Raiders WR Brandon LaFell's 46 snaps in Week 8 were six more than he had played the rest of the year combined, and offensive coordinator Greg Olson said he expects more of the same going forward. 'He stepped up for us last week and we foresee them doing that again in the future,' Olson said

Huddle Up: With Amari Cooper out of the mix, someone has to catch passes in Oakland. If you need receiver depth, LaFell could be worth adding in case he becomes one of Derek Carr's top targets the rest of the way.

  • Posted: 8/2/2018 7:07am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell was granted his release Thursday, Aug. 2, according to his agent, Jonathan Feinsod.

Huddle Up: LaFell had a 52-548-3 season last year and turns 32 in November. It's possible he lands on his feet and is worthy of a WR5 flyer, but there are younger options in that pool with more upside.

  • Posted: 3/10/2018 9:55am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell could be released this offseason in part because the team would create $4 million in salary cap space. The team could also cut LaFell in order to give more playing time to the younger receivers on the roster.

Huddle Up: LaFell has been a starting receiver for the Bengals over the last two seasons but posted only 548 yards this past season. He could receive some interest if he is released but would not be a great fantasy option.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 4:12pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell posted four receptions for just eight yards in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: The four catches were nice, but he has been awful in terms of average yards per grab, especially over his past three games. He just nine receptions for 85 yards during the unimpressive span.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 1:25pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Brandon LaFell caught two passes for 53 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15.

Huddle Up: LaFell has been targeted at least six times in each of the last four games but has not posted more than 55 yards in any of those games. He will continue to be a starter for the Bengals but is not a great fantasy option.
