The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning was 28-for-44 for 327 yards with four touchdown passes and two interceptions Week 10 against the New England Patriots.

The Huddle Take: Manning threw a couple of uncharacteristic ducks and seemed to struggle a bit in the middle portion of the game. However, with the Colts down 13 and time running down Manning was at his finest in engineering two scoring drives and throwing the game-winning touchdown to Reggie Wayne.

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning was 31-for-48 for 347 yards during the team's Week 8 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Huddle Take: Despite the huge yardage game, Manning failed to throw a TD pass in the contest. It is clear that the Colts and Manning are in a whole different category and it appears that Indianapolis and the New Orleans Saints are on an early collision course for a potential Super Bowl matchup. From a fantasy stand point what is there to say but consider Manning for your fantasy lineup each week regardless of the matchup.

Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning (rest) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 30.

The Huddle Take: Nothing to worry about here. Manning will be ready to carve up the 49er secondary in Week 8.

The Associated Press reports the Indianapolis Colts are not worried about QB Peyton Manning's (knee) sore knee, according to head coach Jim Caldwell. The Colts have a bye week in Week 6 and do not play again until Oct. 25 at the St. Louis Rams.

The Huddle Take: No worries at all here. Manning will be ready to light up the Rams in a couple of weeks.

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning said following the team's Week 5 game that he would have to see a doctor for treatment of his left knee after receiving a hit from Tennessee Titans DL Kyle Vanden Bosch. The injury is to the same knee that kept Manning out of the 2008 preseason and led to a slow start.

The Huddle Take: Manning is off to a great start, with five consecutive 300-yard outings, so it's a bit of a concern that the knee injury may sidetrack him like it did early on last year. No major worries yet, but it's definitely a situation to keep an eye on.

Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning was 14-for-23 for 303 yards with two touchdown passes during the teams Week 2 game against the Miami Dolphins. Mannings first pass of the game was an 80-yard touchdown pass to TE Dallas Clark, Mannings longest completion since 2005.

The Huddle Take: It just shows how amazing Manning is to be able to put up that kind of production in the extremely limited amount of time -- 15 minutes versus the Dolphins' 45 -- the Colt offense was on the field.

Phil Richards, of the Indianapolis Star, reports Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay said this week he expects to have a new contract in place for QB Peyton Manning before the start of the 2010 season. Manning's current deal runs through the end of next season.

The Huddle Take: Expect the new deal to allow Peyton to save face at family gatherings when his brother starts talking about his contract. But if there was ever any doubt he would end his career as a Colt, this should settle it.

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning was 10-for-14 for 167 yards with two touchdown passes in three series during the team's preseason game Thursday, Aug. 20.

The Huddle Take: Manning was in midseason form, hitting seven different receivers and connecting with Anthony Gonzalez and Reggie Wayne for the scores.

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning said Friday, July 10, that he has confidence in new head coach Jim Caldwell's plan for the team moving forward. 'Even though Tony Dungy won't be on the sideline, I feel like the winning atmosphere and the environment he created in our building will carry through,' Manning said. 'Coach Caldwell assured me he's got a good plan. Hopefully August 2 we'll be able to hit the ground running.'

The Huddle Take: There is no questioning the leadership ability that QB Peyton Manning brings to the table in Indianapolis regardless of a change in the coaching and gameplan of the team. Fantasy owners should however be cautious early in the season since they could likely start off slow with a new offense. With the Colts looking to move forward into the future and out of the Tony Dungy era, there could be some nice surprises on the horizon from a fantasy perspective with all the supporting cast back in Indianapolis for 2009. Regardless, given some time Manning and the Colts offense should be clicking on all cylinders after they get a few games under their belt as he is still an elite quarterback worthy of leading your fantasy team.

The Associated Press reports Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning has been named The AP NFL Most Valuable Player.

The Huddle Take: You sure didn't see this coming a month into the season, but Manning's strong finish helped him earn a third MVP trophy.
