Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis posted three grabs for a team-best 48 yards and a touchdown on his three targets in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Jordan Reed made it through the entire game, but Davis factored in with the wideouts banged up. Despite the decent stat line he is still only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 8:07pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis caught two passes on three targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in a 27-11 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Davis salvaged his day with a score, but he has now finished with two catches or less in five straight games. He is a touchdown-dependent fantasy play at this point.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 2:22pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis posted two receptions for 18 yards in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals and he lost a fumble.

Huddle Up: Davis had the chance to finish up strong with Jordan Reed (hamstring) on the Reserve/Injured list, but he didn't do anything with his opportunity Sunday. He'll look to bounce back in Week 16 against the Broncos, but should be treated as more of a TE2 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 9:02pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis failed to catch his only target in a 20-10 win over the New York Giants Thursday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: It was a brutal result for Davis' fantasy owners, who were likely expecting him to feast on a Giants defense that has been horrible at defending tight ends. Don't read too much into the poor outing. Injuries along Washington's offensive line forced Davis to spend most of his time blocking. If Jordan Reed remains sidelined, Davis remains a TE1 candidate.

  • Posted: 11/22/2017 6:25pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (back) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Huddle Up: Davis has received a bigger role while Jordan Reed has been sidelined and has posted at least 65 yards in each of the last three games. He can be a solid No. 1 tight end in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/21/2017 2:16pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (back) participated fully in practice Tuesday, Nov. 21.

Huddle Up: Davis will be one of Kirk Cousins' top targets as long as Jordan Reed is unable to play. He has seen 8.6 targets over his last three games and is capable of coming through for fantasy owners as a TE1.

  • Posted: 11/20/2017 1:53pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (back) fully participated in practice Monday, Nov. 20.

Huddle Up: Davis has been targeted 26 times over the last three games and has at least 67 yards in each of those games. He will continue to have a big role in the passing game and can be a No. 1 fantasy tight end.

  • Posted: 11/10/2017 1:28pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (hand) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 10, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Huddle Up: Davis likely will be the starting tight end this week if Jordan Reed is not able to play. He is played well when he has received playing time for the Redskins and should be considered a No. 1 fantasy tight end if he starts.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 3:18pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (hand) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Davis appears to be on track for Week 10 and could start again if Jordan Reed is ruled out. He is coming off a 72-yard performance and would be a No. 1 fantasy tight end if he starts.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 3:25pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (hand) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: Davis was the only healthy tight end available last week, so it could be a preservation thing. He might have been held out for portions of practice to keep him from aggravating his hand injury, as Jordan Reed and Niles Paul make their way back. Circle back around on Friday to get his official game status, and that of Reed and Paul. If Reed is healthy, Davis has lesser appeal from a fantasy perspective.

  • Posted: 11/6/2017 1:22pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis (hand) suffered a hand contusion in Week 9, but the team is optimistic that Davis will be able to play this week.

Huddle Up: Davis has played well when he has been in the starting lineup and could start again if he is healthy and Jordan Reed remains sidelined. He could be a low-end No. 1 tight end next week if returns to the starting lineup in Week 10.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 8:46pm ET

Washington Redskins TE Vernon Davis posted team highs with six receptions, 72 yards and nine targets in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: Davis picked up the slack with Jordan Reed and Niles Paul, the No. 1 and No. 3 tight ends, inactive. He is a solid low-end TE1 heading into Week 10 against the Vikings if Reed is again inactive.
