Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) did not return to Week 16's game against the Tennessee Titans after sustaining a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Ivory gained a season-high 114 yards from scrimmage and added a touchdown before exiting Saturday's contest. The severity of the injury remains unknown, so keep checking back for updates on his status for Week 17's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 2:36pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed 14 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Week 16 game against the Tennessee Titans and he added four receptions for 69 yards on six targets.

Huddle Up: Ivory's total yards from scrimmage were actually a season high. He has found the end zone twice over the past three games after scoring just once in the first eight outings.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 3:54pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed 10 times for a team-high 44 yards in the Week 15 game against the Houston Texans. He was targeted once in the pass game but did not have a catch.

Huddle Up: Ivory is only worth a look as a flex fantasy play in deeper fantasy leagues heading into Week 16. However, his role is a bit uncertain since the team fired Gus Bradley and will not name an interim head coach until Monday.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 6:11am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) is expected to miss Week 14's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Ivory was limited in practice throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report after sitting out last week's game versus the Denver Broncos. T.J. Yeldon will serve as Jacksonville's primary running back for the second consecutive game but isn't worth considering as anything more than a flex option in deeper seasonal leagues. He has an unfavorable matchup against a Minnesota defense that is tied for the third-fewest rushing touchdowns allowed in the NFL.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 8:36am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) is questionable for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Ivory looks to be on the positive side of questionable, but he'll be in a timeshare with T.J. Yeldon in a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Ivory is an iffy fantasy option this week.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 8:34am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 13.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon (ankle) could see the bulk of the work if he's healthy enough to go. However, he's a risky flex play against the Denver Broncos this week.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 8:04am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) remains out of practice Friday, Dec. 2.

Huddle Up: His status against the Denver Broncos looks pretty bleak. T.J. Yeldon (ankle) could see the bulk of the work if he's healthy enough to go. However, he's not a safe flex play this week.

  • Posted: 11/30/2016 1:25pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Ivory suffered the injury in the last game, so his status is uncertain at this point. Ivory would receive most of carries if he is active for the game and could be a flex option.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 6:42pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) ran nine times for 44 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 game against the Buffalo Bills and he added one catch for 11 yards. He left briefly due to a hamstring issue, but was able to return.

Huddle Up: Ivory had 10 touches to just seven for T.J. Yeldon, while Denard Robinson handled the ball 13 times. A three-headed rushing attack going forward would not help fantasy owners, although Ivory still might have the best outlook of the trio.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 11:14am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury in Week 12 and is listed as questionable to return.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Ivory will have a chance to return to the game or if he will be sidelined. T.J. Yeldon probably would see most of the snaps if Ivory misses an extended period of time and could be a flex option in some leagues.

  • Posted: 11/20/2016 5:50pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed 17 times for a game-high 39 yards in the Week 11 game against the Detroit Lions. Ivory added six receptions for a game-high 75 yards on six targets.

Huddle Up: Ivory has hit the century mark in total yards from scrimmage twice in the past three games. He is a decent flex fantasy option heading into Week 12 against the Buffalo Bills in leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 3:22pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory ran nine times for 31 yards and caught two passes for 10 yards in a Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: The Jags trailed for most of the game and didn't commit to running the ball. Ivory is a sketchy fantasy play any week for a number of reasons, and a Week 11 meeting with Detroit makes him a fringe flex start.

  • Posted: 11/11/2016 7:30pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory is expected to be the primary back on first and second down going forward with RB T.J. Yeldon spelling him and serving as the third-down back.

Huddle Up: If someone cut Ivory loose in your league, add him immediately. He is a flex candidate in Week 10 against Houston, and the arrow is pointing up on Ivory's fantasy value.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 2:47pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed for 107 yards on 18 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Ivory had a big role in the running game this week and made the most of the opportunity. It is not known if he will have a similar role moving forward but should at least more carries than he has received in previous weeks. He has a chance to be at least a flex option for owners.

  • Posted: 10/23/2016 8:27pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed five times for a team-high 48 yards in the Week 7 game against the Oakland Raiders, helped mostly by a 42-yard scamper. He also had two receptions for three yards on four targets.

Huddle Up: Ivory is more of a short-yardage guy, but he has been able to carry the load in the past. If T.J. Yeldon remains stuck in neutral, Ivory might see more touches in the future. For now, treat Ivory as a RB3 in most standard fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/16/2016 2:44pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown on 11 carries against the Chicago Bears in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Ivory led the team in rush attempts in Week 6 but averaged only 2.9 yards per carry. He will continue to share work with T.J Yeldon and should only be a flex option in deeper leagues at this point.

  • Posted: 9/29/2016 11:51am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 29.

Huddle Up: Ivory appears to be on track to play in Week 4 and should receive a decent amount of carries during the game. He rushed for only 14 yards on 12 carries in Week 3 and may not be the best option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 9/28/2016 1:05pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (ankle, knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: After missing the first two games of the season with an illness, Ivory sprained his ankle and knee last week in his Jaguars debut. He rushed for just 14 yards on 12 attempts in Week 3, and if healthy, Ivory projects to continue splitting work fairly evenly with T.J. Yeldon going forward. However, if Ivory finds his groove, he could grab a larger share of the workload given Yeldon has averaged just 2.47 yards per rushing attempt through the first three weeks of the season.

  • Posted: 9/25/2016 9:45am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) is officially active for the team's Week 3 game.

Huddle Up: Ivory may receive a limited workload this week since he missed Week 2, which would hurt is value. Owners may want to see him play in a game or two before considering him for their lineups.

  • Posted: 9/23/2016 1:30pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Ivory fully participated in each of the last two days and appears to be on track for Week 3. His role is uncertain at this point, but he should receive a good amount of work if active. Owners may want to see him play in a game before considering using him in their lineups.

  • Posted: 9/22/2016 12:40pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 22.

Huddle Up: Ivory appears to be on track to play in Week 3, but his role is uncertain at this point. Ivory could be a flex option in leagues if he receives a solid amount of playing time in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/21/2016 7:50am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon is averaging 2.4 yards per carry and has just 67 rushing yards. Ivory would be a flex option if he's able to make it back this week.

  • Posted: 9/16/2016 8:23am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) has been ruled out for Week 2 with an undisclosed illness.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon has a good matchup against the San Diego Chargers. He rushed 21 times for just 39 yards and a score against the Green Bay Packers last week. He's a decent RB2 in fantasy this week.

  • Posted: 9/15/2016 3:26pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) said he's 'ready to go' and there are 'no more issues.' He didn't want to go into details about what caused him so much pain that he needed to be taken to the hospital the morning of Sunday, September 11, but he was excited to be back and 'just ready to get back going.'

Huddle Up: Tip: Details are still vague about why Ivory even went to the hospital in the first place, but based on how he's feeling at the moment, it looks like he's ready to put all of this in the rearview mirror. Ivory probably won't play this week, but certainly has the potential to be a serviceable flex option again in the near future. In the meantime, T.J. Yeldon looks like a solid RB2.

  • Posted: 9/15/2016 11:22am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) has not been ruled out for Week 2 at this point, but head coach Gus Bradley said it would be challenging for Ivory to play in the game.

Huddle Up: Ivory likely will sit out next week and try to play in Week 3 or Week 4. T.J. Yeldon will be the starting running back for the Jaguars and should be a No. 2 running back or flex option for owners.

  • Posted: 9/15/2016 9:10am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) is not participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 15.

Huddle Up: It appears Ivory will miss at least one more week, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. T.J. Yeldon should see most of the playing time at running back again in Week 2 and should be considered a fine No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/14/2016 11:00am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Huddle Up: Ivory was just released from the hospital Tuesday, Sept. 13, so it isn't surprising he was absent from practice Wednesday. There is currently no timeline for his return, so continue to view T.J. Yeldon with elevated fantasy value heading into the Week 2 matchup against the San Diego Chargers Sunday, Sept. 18. Yeldon is in RB2 consideration after the Chargers allowed 33 points and 413 yards in Week 1.

  • Posted: 9/13/2016 1:00pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) was released from the hospital Tuesday, Sept. 13, and is doing well. There is no timetable for his return yet.

Huddle Up: It seems unlikely at this point that Ivory would jump right back into a major role in Jacksonville's backfield. T.J. Yeldon is still the better play. He's a decent RB2 option if Ivory is out or limited after the San Diego Chargers surrendered 200 total yards and a touchdown to Spencer Ware last week.

  • Posted: 9/13/2016 10:58am ET

Updating a previous story, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) is still undergoing tests but is hopeful of being discharged from the hospital in the day or two, according to USA Today's Tom Pelissero.

Huddle Up: The fact Ivory is hopeful of being discharged in the next day or two is a good sign, but no one can really be for sure until an official diagnosis has been made. Pelissero called Ivory's Week 2 status for the Jaguars' game versus the San Diego Chargers 'up in the air', but owners shouldn't expect him to play. Even if he does somehow suit up, he'd be looking a slight cameo at most, while T.J. Yeldon carries most of the load in a plus-matchup.

  • Posted: 9/13/2016 10:03am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (illness) remains hospitalized with a 'general medical issue', according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Huddle Up: His status remains unchanged from Monday's update. As one might expect with a diagnosis yet to be made, his Week 2 availability against the San Diego Chargers is in serious doubt. Schefter also mentioned the Jaguars hope to know more within the next 48 hours, so perhaps this story is close to reaching a resolution.

  • Posted: 9/12/2016 10:30am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (calf, illness) remains in the hospital and is undergoing tests to discover the source of the pain that led to his admission Saturday, Sept. 10.

Huddle Up: At this point, fans and owners should care less about availability against the San Diego Chargers next week and can only hope this isn't a more serious issue that threatens his overall well-being. As far as the Jaguars are concerned, they should anticipate another committee backfield attack of T.J. Yeldon and Denard Robinson in the very likely event Ivory is forced to sit out Week 2.

  • Posted: 9/11/2016 9:50am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (calf, undisclosed) was admitted to the hospital Saturday, Sept. 10, because of an issue unrelated to his calf, according to a source. He will be evaluated later this week, which will determine whether he will be able to play in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation over the next week to see if Ivory will miss more time because of his undisclosed injury. T.J. Yeldon will receive most of the work while Ivory is sidelined and will be a decent starting option in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/11/2016 8:26am ET

Contrary to a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (ankle) has been declared inactive for Week 1's game against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Remove Ivory from all fantasy lineups immediately. RB T.J. Yeldon will receive the starting nod against Green Bay and makes a viable flex option in all formats. RB Denard Robinson could also see a few carries but should not be viewed as a great fantasy option.

  • Posted: 9/11/2016 7:30am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon could start Week 1's game against the Green Bay Packers Sunday, Sept. 11. RB Chris Ivory (ankle) is expected to play but is likely to receive fewer snaps than normal, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Both players are worthy of consideration as flex options in all fantasy formats this week, although Yeldon appears to be the safer choice since it is unknown how many snaps Ivory will play.

  • Posted: 9/9/2016 8:46am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (calf) is listed as questionable for Week 1, but he's expected to play in Week 1. He participated in the walkthrough Friday, Sept. 9.

Huddle Up: Ivory looks to be on the plus side of questionable, and the matchup is solid against the Green Bay Packers. He'll likely share the load with T.J. Yeldon, and both are flex options in fantasy.

  • Posted: 9/8/2016 1:54pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (calf) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 8.

Huddle Up: Ivory's status will need to be monitored heading into Sunday's slate of games. Even if he's healthy and plays he'll split playing time with T.J. Yeldon. Don't view Ivory as more than a flex start this week.

  • Posted: 9/7/2016 1:49pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory (calf) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation to see if Ivory is in danger of missing Week 1. He is expected to receive most of the carries in the running game this season and will be a fine No. 2 running back or flex option in leagues if he is active.

  • Posted: 8/8/2016 6:25pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RBs Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon are listed as co-starters on the Jaguars' first depth chart.

Huddle Up: Not surprising this early in camp, and no matter who's starting, the touches figure to be a near-equal split when all is said and done -- assuming both backs stay reasonably healthy of course. The upside is there though as the Jags' team rushing TDs figure to go way up after they totaled all of five a year ago.

  • Posted: 6/18/2016 11:15am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon's improvement in pass protection was praised by offensive coordinator Greg Olson, and beat writer Ryan O'Halloran believes Yeldon is being slotted for the third-down back role while RB Chris Ivory will handle more of the carries on early downs.

Huddle Up: The Jaguars' backfield picture is coming more into focus. Jacksonville didn't sign Ivory to back up Yeldon, and this latest development suggests Ivory handling a role similar to his gig in New York while Yeldon is the change-of-pace guy--Bilal Powell to Ivory's Ivory.

  • Posted: 6/2/2016 4:08pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory participated in organized team activities Thursday, June 2, after he missed workouts Tuesday, May 31, because of a personal issue.

Huddle Up: Nothing, certainly, to be concerned about with Ivory, who will be battling second-year back T.J. Yeldon for the lead role in the J'ville backfield.

  • Posted: 4/3/2016 1:52pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Chris Ivory and RB T.J. Yeldon will be in a competition to see who opens the 2016 season as the starter, according to head coach Gus Bradley.

Huddle Up: This has emerged as one of the more interesting starting-RB battles in the league, but expect a 60-40 split of the work no matter who wins the No. 1 gig.
