The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 27-for-46 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and five interceptions Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. He also fumbled the ball away once.
The Huddle Take: This was certainly one of the worst performances by Warner since the 2002 game against Seattle but keep in mind he has looked sharp for much of the season and he was bound to have a rough outing at some point. Regardless, Warner is still a solid No. 1 fantasy quarterback worthy of starting every week for an Arizona team that is likely to be playing deep into the playoffs once again.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner went 34-for-41 for 276 yards, two touchdowns and one interception Week 6. He tied an NFL record by reaching 30,000 career passing yards in his 114th game, which tied former NFL QB Dan Marino for the least number of games needed to reach the milestone.
Posted: 10/15/2009 1:09pm et
The Arizona Republic reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner said he is not completely happy with the offense at this point because they have not consistently produced. 'I'm not happy yet. Until we start performing like we did in the first half last week every time out, I'm not going to be happy. That's what I expect from us, to move the ball up and down the field, to make plays, and we just haven't done it nearly consistent enough over the first four games, so I'm not really happy with anything yet,' Warner said.
The Huddle Take: Warner might not be quite the Fantasy God he was last season, but he's still a strong No. 1 Fantasy quarterback, as his six TDs through four games (Arizona's bye was in Week 4) and 291-yards-per-game average suggest. Just imagine what the production will be like when he is completely happy with the Cardinal offense.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 26-for-38 for 302 yards with two touchdowns Week 5. It was the 50th time in his career Warner surpassed 300 yards passing in a game.
The Huddle Take: Warner continues to prove each week that he is a solid No. 1 fantasy quarterback and certainly has the weapons in this offense to go along with it. Look for the Arizona quarterback to continue to provide consistent numbers for fantasy teams all season long.

AZCardinals.com reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (shoulder) participated in practice Friday, Oct. 9. He is listed as probable for Week 5 and will play.
The Huddle Take: Warner will be good to go for a game against Houston that has the makings of a shoot-out.
Posted: 10/7/2009 11:10pm et
Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (shoulder) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The Huddle Take: Warner should be back in the lineup and ready to go for Week 5 against the Houston Texans and could produce a solid fantasy stat line. The veteran quarterback should be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback for fantasy teams against a Texans defense that has given up some huge plays in the passing game this season. Check Warner's status this weekend to make sure he has not suffered any setbacks this week to his shoulder injury.
Posted: 10/1/2009 11:11am et
Bob McManaman and Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, report Cardinals QB Kurt Warner said his shoulder is still sore from a stinger he suffered in Week 1. He took most of the snaps during practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, and expects to practice this week.
The Huddle Take: If you have concerns about Warner and his aging body holding up for a full 16-game slate, go ahead and stash Matt Leinart as the handcuff. Worst-case, he steps in and does a serviceable job in that offense; best-case, Warner is just fine and you sleep better at night.
Posted: 9/17/2009 1:39pm et
The Arizona Republic reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (hip) said his hip continues to improve after undergoing offseason hip surgery. 'All I can say is it's the best it's been since the initial injury and it continues to get better,' Warner said.
The Huddle Take: Good news for Warner, but it probably doesn't do a lot to assuage Warner owners who were expecting a whole lot more than he delivered in Week 1. Week 2 in Jacksonville will go a long way toward letting us know whether the Arizona offense will once again click on all cylinders, or if the unit will miss former offensive coordinator Todd Haley much more than we ever thought.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 10-for-16 for 139 yards with one interception and a lost fumble in the team's preseason game against the Green Bay Packers Friday, Aug. 28. Warner has not thrown a touchdown pass in the preseason.
The Huddle Take: Despite the slow start in the preseason, Warner has a well-balanced offensive team with many weapons at his disposal to post nice numbers once again. Arizona is looking to build on its Super Bowl run from last season and the veteran Warner should be just the type of quarterback capable of starting as a No. 1 quarterback for fantasy teams in 2009.
Posted: 8/26/2009 10:25am et
Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, reports the Cardinals are not concerned over their offensive struggles so far this preseason. The team has just one touchdown in two preseason games and has not scored a touchdown in eight trips in the red zone. "I couldn't even tell you what we did in preseason last year," QB Kurt Warner said. "Were we really good in preseason last year? I have no idea. So, again, preseason is what it is. We've got to improve, no question, but I'm not in full panic mode right now."
The Huddle Take: Arizona's preseason offensive woes have not prevented Larry Fitzgerald from being among the first wide receivers off of fantasy boards. Between the talent on the Cardinals' roster and Ken Whisenhunt's playcalling there is little reason to worry about Arizona's offense heading into the season.
