The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams had 22 carries for 119 yards with two touchdowns Week 11. He also caught two passes for 19 receiving yards with another touchdown. It was the first time in his career Williams had a receiving and rushing touchdown in the same game.

The Huddle Take: Is this a taste of the Dolphins' offense with Ronnie Brown on the shelf? If so, those holding Williams have to be excited about the prospects. Lex Hilliard received some token touches, including a surprising one on fourth down late in the game, but there's no question this is Williams' show the rest of the way. Now it remains to be seen whether or not Ricky, who was perfectly happy as the No. 2 in Miami, is up to the task of being the lead dog—both physically and emotionally.

The Palm Beach Post report Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams could handle the direct snaps in the wildcat formation in the absence of RB Ronnie Brown (foot), according to head coach Tony Sparano.

The Huddle Take: With the wildcat being a big part of the Dolphins weekly game plan they will surely try to keep it going with a shift in personnel instead of scraping it due to Brown's injury. How effective the formation will be now without its primary playmaker is the big question going into this week's matchup in New England.

The Palm Beach Post reports Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said he is completely comfortable with having RB Ricky Williams take a bulk of the carries in Week 11 if RB Ronnie Brown (ankle, foot) is not able to play.

The Huddle Take: Might be a good time to grab Lex Hilliard off the waiver wire, he'll likely get the bulk of any extra work. Don't expect Williams to be able to handle a full load at 34 years old.

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries in Week 9. His three touchdowns tied a career high.

The Huddle Take: Williams has had has problems the last few seasons but the Dolphins have stayed with him and he has not let them down. The former No. 1 draft pick by New Orleans gives the Dolphins a solid complement to Ronnie Brown with the two runners providing solid fantasy numbers this season. Williams should be considered a No. 3 running back with Ronnie Brown a No. 1 regardless of scoring format.

The Associated Press reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown had 20 carries for 115 yards and RB Ricky Williams had 16 carries for 85 rushing yards Week 4. Brown scored two touchdowns in the game and Williams scored once.

The Huddle Take: Despite his age, Williams is teaming with Brown this year to make one extremely effective backfield tandem. His numbers are better than many starting backs in the league so far, and considering the fact that he wasn't drafted in many leagues, he's likely the leading candidate for sleeper pick of the year!
