Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) did not play in the team's Week 15 game because of a groin injury. The Broncos hope he is healthy enough to play in Week 16.
The Huddle Take: They've hoped that for a while, and he still isn't back. The Broncos play the Bills this week. If Bailey's not in, even J.P. Losman (if he once again fills in for Trent Edwards) could have a shot at a decent day.

Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) did not play in the team's Week 12 game because of a groin injury. Bailey has a decent chance of playing in Week 13 but will have to be able to practice this week.
The Huddle Take: It's come to this: with Bailey out, even JaMarcus Russell looked decent against Denver. That's about as low as a defense can go. Bailey makes a difference when he plays, of course, but even with his return the Broncos have a suspect pass defense at best.

Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) did not play in the team's Week 11 game because of a groin injury. The Broncos will make sure Bailey is healthy before using him in a game.
The Huddle Take: It bodes pretty well for the Denver pass defense that, on the road, they were able to hold Matt Ryan to 250 yards and no touchdowns, plus picked off a pass. When they get Bailey back, it might not be as much of a no-brainer to start your quarterback against the Broncos.

Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 13. He said he isn't where he wants to be, but that he is making great progress.
The Huddle Take: Bailey desperately wants to play against the home folks in his native state of Georgia, but the Broncos have to weigh that desire against the risk of further aggravating the injury by rushing him back. As usual with most injury question marks, Friday's practice will be a great indication of whether or not Bailey will take the field.

The NFL Network reports Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) said he intends to play in the team's Week 11 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Bailey said he really wants to play in front of his hometown fans.
The Huddle Take: A healthy and extremely motivated Bailey could spell trouble for Atlanta QB Matt Ryan, even in the Georgia Dome. If you're considering Ryan as a starter next week, make sure you factor in Bailey's possible return in your decision. With Bailey in there, the Denver pass defense won't be as weak as it's recently been.

The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos CB Champ Bailey (groin) suffered a groin injury during the team's Week 7 game.
The Huddle Take: If there was ever a good time for someone as important as Bailey to tweak a groin, it's the game before a bye week. But if he's out for any period of time, an already pathetic defense will become Kansas City bad.
