CBSSports.com reports Cleveland Browns TE Steve Heiden (ankle) suffered an ankle injury during the teams Week 10 game and is questionable to return.
The Huddle Take: Not that there was a lot of fantasy value with Heiden, but it should be noted that he's suffered the injury.

Marla Ridenour, of The Akron Beacon Journal, reports Cleveland Browns TE Steve Heiden was cleared for contact drills earlier this week. Head coach Eric Mangini is excited to have him back on the field, as the Browns are looking to fill a big hole in the starting lineup with the loss of TE Kellen Winslow during the offseason. Mangini said he likes Heiden because he has soft hands, the ability to read defenses to the point where he knows where to sit down in the zone and he can be an effective blocker. Zach Swartz, of The Columbus Dispatch, reports Heiden took part in his first practice Monday, Aug. 3.
The Huddle Take: Heiden won't remind anyone of Winslow when it comes to threatening defenses down the field, but he's been solid when inserted into the lineup for the oft-injured Winslow in the past. His blocking skills make him a good fit for Mangini's offense, and anything he can add to the passing game would be gravy.

The Medina County Gazette, reports Cleveland Browns TE Steve Heiden suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and sprained medial collateral ligament in the team's Week 15 game. He will undergo surgery Thursday, Dec. 18.
The Huddle Take: Heiden had been filling in for Kellen Winslow, but obviously this injury ends his 2008 season.
