Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown in a 20-17 win over the Denver Broncos in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Green has topped five catches just twice this season, but he has bolstered his stat lines with six touchdowns in the last eight games. It hasn't been Green's best season, but he is still a WR1.

  • Posted: 11/6/2017 2:01pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green will not be suspended for his involvement in an altercation with Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Green cost the Bengals and fantasy owners alike because of his ejection yesterday. The fact that he's not suspended is somewhat of a surprise. He can make up for lost time in Week 10 in a solid matchup versus the Tennessee Titans, who have already allowed double-digit touchdowns (10) to wide receivers this year. Keep Green in those starting lineups.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 2:48pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught one pass for six yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 before he was ejected from the game for his altercation against Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey.

Huddle Up: Green could receive a suspension for his involvement in the altercations, so owners should monitor the situation. He is a No. 1 or No. 3 fantasy receiver when he plays.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 11:24am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green was ejected from the team's Week 9 game after getting into an altercation with Jacksonville Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey.

Huddle Up: Owners will have to see if Green is in danger of receiving a suspension for his involvement in the altercation. Green is a No. 1 fantasy receiver when he plays.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 6:13pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green posted three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Huddle Up: Green struggled against what has been a suspect Indianapolis secondary, but the weather conditions weren't ideal, either. The good news is that Green was at least able to salvage the stat line with the touchdown or the day would have been a total disaster. He'll look to get untracked in Week 9 at Jacksonville.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 8:55pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green finished with three catches for 41 yards in a 29-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.

Huddle Up: It was the first time all year that Green has been held below 60 yards, but he still led the team in receiving. The entire Cincinnati offense should perform better against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8, and Green should go back to putting up WR1 numbers.

  • Posted: 10/10/2017 6:41pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green earned the highest passer rating for all receivers when pressed at the line of scrimmage in Week 5 at 153.3, per NFL Next Gen Stats.

Huddle Up: To put that number into some perspective, 158.3 is considered a perfect passer rating in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins' Jarvis Landry came in second at 129.2. It's more proof Green is about as good as it gets at receiver and disproves the notion the angular 29-year-old isn't strong enough to beat physical coverage. He's obviously an every-week starter in fantasy.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 6:21pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green racked up seven receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: The highlight of the afternoon was a 77-yard touchdown reception, vindication after he lost a fumble and helped contribute on two other turnovers. He showed why he remains an elite fantasy receiver, playing well despite rainy conditions for most of the game. You'll need to make alternate plans in Week 6, as the team is on a bye.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 1:35pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green caught five passes for 63 yards and one touchdown against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.

Huddle Up: Green has caught at least five passes in every game this season and has caught a touchdown pass in each of the last two games. He can be considered a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy receiver next week against the Buffalo Bills.

  • Posted: 9/24/2017 7:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green finished with 10 catches on 13 yards for 111 yards and a touchdown in a 27-24 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 3.

Huddle Up: Green's status as the top option in the passing game is unquestioned, but it was still good to see the Cincinnati offense look competent for the first time all season. Green remains a WR1 in all formats.

  • Posted: 9/14/2017 9:50pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green tallied 67 yards on five receptions (13.4 yards per reception) against the Houston Texans in Week 2. He was targeted eight times in the loss.

Huddle Up: Green's final line isn't terrible, but 50 of those 67 yards came on one catch, leaving just 17 for the other five (3.4 YPC). He'll get his next chance to break out against a revamped yet unproven Green Bay Packers secondary in Week 3. He's too talented to keep out of your lineup, and you certainly wouldn't want to sell low on him now. Stay the course.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 6:21pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green posted five receptions for 74 yards on a game-high 10 targets in Week 1 against the Ravens.

Huddle Up: A couple of times Andy Dalton got in trouble trying to force it into his favorite receiver and the results weren't terribly favorable. The Cincinnati offense was terrible, getting shut out in the loss, but Green still wasn't a total disaster from a fantasy perspective.

  • Posted: 7/22/2017 9:21am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green saw a 32.3-percent target share in Weeks 1 through 10 before he was lost for the season with a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Much of Green's heavy involvement had to do with the prolonged absence of Tyler Eifert as well as the struggles of the running game and the departure of Marvin Jones as well as Mohamed Sanu. Owners should expect the target share to fall back down closer to the 25-percent range - more typical for elite receivers - following the return of Eifert as well as the additions of John Ross and Joe Mixon. He remains firmly in the WR1 conversation, however.

  • Posted: 7/1/2017 7:07pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green said he wouldn't mind seeing fewer targets this season if it means the other receivers are contributing and the team is winning.

Huddle Up: Even if Green does see a few less targets, his role as Andy Dalton's go-to receiver isn't changing any time soon. He is a safe bet to deliver WR1 production again in 2017.

  • Posted: 5/30/2017 12:11pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green wants to play seven more years in the NFL, according to Geoff Hobson of bengals.com.

Huddle Up: Playing seven more seasons would put Green at a total of 13 seasons. That would be quite a career for one of the game's top receivers. Green has dealt with injuries over the course of his six seasons so far, especially last year, but he remains a top five fantasy receiver and deserves to be selected in the late-first or early-second round.

  • Posted: 3/1/2017 8:32am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) has been cleared for offseason work.

Huddle Up: Green is still firmly entrenched into the discussion of top-five receivers in fantasy. He should be off the board in the first couple of rounds.

  • Posted: 12/31/2016 8:19am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) was placed on season-ending injured reserve Saturday, Dec. 31.

Huddle Up: The 28-year-old Green had 66 receptions, 964 receiving yards and four touchdowns through 10 games this season. He will be completely healthy for the start of the 2017 campaign and should be viewed as a high-end WR1 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/29/2016 8:45pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green hasn't been around much and hasn't been attending team meetings this week, according to players.

Huddle Up: Green declared himself ready to return from a hamstring injury prior to the Week 16 contest, so he is likely unhappy about being held out the final two games and missing out on a chance to reach 1,000 yards. The decision is understandable considering the Bengals have nothing to play for, and Green will still be a WR1 when 2017 rolls around.

  • Posted: 12/27/2016 5:58pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green can become the second wide receiver in NFL history to attain 1,000 yards receiving in his first six seasons. Green needs 36 yards in Week 17 to accomplish the feat.

Huddle Up: It would be even more impressive if Green gets to 1,000 yards this year considering the fact that he has only played in 10 games so far. He's a perennial WR1 and should be drafted as such for the 2017 season.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 9:31am ET

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is not playing in Week 16 because the ownership decided to hold him out, according to sources. Green was not happy with the decision and it is not known known if he is still with the team or if he flew back to Cincinnati.

Huddle Up: Green is not expected to play again this season, so owners should look for other options to use in their lineups. Green should be fine for next season and will be a No. 1 receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 9:15am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is not expected to play in the team's Week 17 game, according to a source. He has already been ruled out for Week 16.

Huddle Up: It appears that the Bengals are being cautious with Green even though he thinks he can play. Owners can keep an eye on the story next week but should look for other options to use in their lineups.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 6:50am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) will not play in Week 16's game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Green was a limited participant in the team's first two practice sessions during the week before practicing fully Friday, Dec. 23. However, the Bengals have decided to hold him out of action as a precautionary measure. WRs Tyler Boyd and Brandon LaFell will continue to see a decent number of targets and should be viewed as low-end flex options for deep seasonal leagues.

  • Posted: 12/23/2016 1:54pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Green expects to play in Week 16 but likely will receive limited snaps because he has missed multiple weeks. Owners can consider Green as a risky No. 3 receiver but should not count on a big game from him.

  • Posted: 12/23/2016 11:05am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is listed as questionable on the team's injury report, although he has already confirmed he's been cleared to play in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: With so many key offensive players banged up, the Bengals certainly need him. However, he has been limited in practice all week and there's virtually no chance Cincinnati will push him to play full-time snaps in a meaningless contest after sitting out the previous four games. Owners who made it this far without Green probably have enough options at receiver to leave him on the bench during fantasy championship week.

  • Posted: 12/22/2016 7:27pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Dec. 22.

Huddle Up: Green said he plans to return to the field in Week 16, but there is no guarantee he will see his normal workload. Despite the risk, Green is worth starting if he suits up.

  • Posted: 12/22/2016 9:34am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) said he believes he is healthy enough to play in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Green probably will see limited snaps if he is active for Week 16 because he has missed several games because of the injury. Green should still see some targets during the game, but owners should consider him as a No. 3 receiver.

  • Posted: 12/21/2016 3:13pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: Green has a decent chance to play in Week 16 if he does not suffer any setbacks. He probably would receive limited snaps if he is active in Week 16 and should be considered a risky No. 3 receiver in leagues.

  • Posted: 12/21/2016 8:54am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is taking part in practice Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Huddle Up: It's fair to consider Green a top-five player at the position, and the signs are good for him to play this weekend. However, he has been out for a month. Expectations should be tempered from his usual WR1 stature against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 12/19/2016 6:29am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is expected to play Saturday, Dec. 24, in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Green has missed a month of action and should be pretty close to full strength to take on the Houston Texans. He'll be a WR1 option in fantasy.

  • Posted: 12/17/2016 7:36am ET

Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) will not play in Week 15's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Cincinnati's tentative plan is for Green to return to action in Week 16 versus the Houston Texans. He had been listed as doubtful on the injury report despite participating in all three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. WRs Tyler Boyd and Brandon LaFell are low-end flex options for deep seasonal leagues, while TE Tyler Eifert should see a decent number of targets inside the red zone.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 8:27pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) will work out before the Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the team is not optimistic about his chances to play.

Huddle Up: With Green unlikely to play, Tyler Boyd will have some appeal as a flex option, and Tyler Eifert should be one of the top tight end plays.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 1:32pm ET

Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 16. He has been listed as doubtful for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Green probably needs another week of practice before he is ready to play, so Week 16 is a more realistic return date for Green. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will receive most of the work at receiver but should only be considered flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 12/15/2016 8:28am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is practicing again Thursday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: He did limited work yesterday, and he'll probably be limited again today. The Pittsburgh Steelers have been good against opposing WRs the last five weeks. Green will be a risky option if he suits up, and he can't be counted on as your first option.

  • Posted: 12/14/2016 1:46pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Green appears to have a chance to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15 but may see limited snaps if he is active. Green will be a risky option for owners but can be a No. 3 receiver if he plays.

  • Posted: 12/12/2016 1:17pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is expected to practice Wednesday, Dec. 14, according to head coach Marvin Lewis.

Huddle Up: Green will be a risky start for the fantasy playoffs this week. His matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers is mediocre and he could be limited after missing multiple weeks with a hamstring tear. If Green practices fully, then it will be hard not to start him, however.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 11:25am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) will not play in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns.

Huddle Up: No surprise here. The good news is that Green has been working on the side with trainers for a little while, so there is some potential he could play next week if all goes well. Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd will continue to vie for Andy Dalton's attention behind Tyler Eifert and can be considered low-end WR3s.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 8:20am ET

Updating previous reports, Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) said he suffered a Grade 2 hamstring tear, and he's working to get back this season. It may not be until Week 17.

Huddle Up: Recent reports offered some hope that he could return next week, but this report puts serious doubt on his availability for the fantasy playoffs. If you have the roster space, you have to stash him until something official occurs.

  • Posted: 12/1/2016 10:03am ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is making expected progress in his recovery from his hamstring injury but will not be able to play in Week 13, according to sources. Green may have a chance to play in Week 14, in the opinion of ESPN's Bob Holtzman.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to check on Green's practice participation next week to see if he has a chance to play in Week 14. Green could be limited when he returns but would still help owners during the playoffs.

  • Posted: 11/28/2016 12:47pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (hamstring) is unlikely to play in Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but head coach Marvin Lewis use the term 'partly cloudy' when referring to his receiver's likely status.

Huddle Up: Beat writer Paul Dehner translated the comment as 'not happening,' which is exactly how fantasy owners should proceed. Tyler Eifert should see another heavy dose of targets, while rookie Tyler Boyd should be a serviceable WR3 in PPR leagues. Brandon LaFell should remain off the radar in most leagues.

  • Posted: 11/25/2016 7:16pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd tied season highs with six catches on eight targets in Week 11, with all of his catches and targets coming after WR A.J. Green (hamstring) exited the game.

Huddle Up: Boyd should be one of the biggest beneficiaries of Green's injury. He is worth picking up in most formats, but he is a risky flex play in Week 12 against a solid Baltimore defense.
