Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton threw 28-for-41 for 268 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a 12-10 loss to the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Dalton's completion numbers early on were excellent, but he wasn't getting much yardage. The bulk of his effective work came in the second half. It's only fair to note Houston wasn't much better, but Dalton's struggles have kind of removed the QB1 label for the time being. If you start Dalton, you better have another very effective QB on your roster.

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton threw 16-of-27 for 157 yards and one interception in a 24-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Huddle Up: Dalton has had plenty of struggles this season, part of which come from four games (two apiece) against teams like the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 1:37pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton was 20-for-28 for 180 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-10 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Huddle Up: Dalton didn't need to be overpowering, as the Bengals were going up against Cleveland in a rivalry game. Too bad the Browns are hamstrung on both offense and defense. Dalton was as effective as he could be and remains a decent option going forward.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 8:30pm ET

Cleveland Browns QB Andy Dalton completed 23 of his 31 pass attempts for 332 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 13 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also rushed twice for nine yards.

Huddle Up: Dalton fared pretty well against a good pass defense, especially considering he continues to operate the offense without his biggest weapon A.J. Green. He should continue his solid play in Week 14 against a poor Cleveland Browns pass defense, assuming weather isn't a factor.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 1:51pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton was 26-of-48 for 283 yards Sunday, Nov. 27, in a 19-12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Dalton fumbled the ball three times and lost two.

Huddle Up: Dalton is a low QB1 but plays better as a QB2. He went over 3,000 yards in this game and has 12 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Dalton is the type of QB that gets the job done without too much flash or pizzazz.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 7:12pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Dalton should suit up in Week 12, but he is a QB2 in Week 12 with his top target, A.J. Green, expected to be sidelined.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 1:40pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was limited during practicr Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Dalton likely will be able to play against the Baltimore Ravens this week but will be without A.J. Green and Giovani Bernard. Dalton has posted decent numbers this season but should be considered a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues and should not be started.

  • Posted: 11/20/2016 2:49pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton went 24-for-43 for 207 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. He also rushed for 10 yards and one touchdown on four carries.

Huddle Up: Dalton has been held to under 210 yards in each of the last two games and has three touchdowns and four interceptions in the last three games. Dalton will be facing a solid Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 12 and probably should be avoided since A.J. Green is sidelined.

  • Posted: 11/18/2016 2:41pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

Huddle Up: Dalton has thrown for at least 250 yards in five of the last six games and has at least one touchdown in all but one game this season. He will be facing a solid Buffalo Bills defense in Week 11 but could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues or a bye week replacement.

  • Posted: 11/17/2016 4:22pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

Huddle Up: He was limited in practice on Wednesday, but all appears to be well for Cincinnati's Red Rifle. Dalton has enjoyed a solid season up to this point, though he hasn't really churned out many strong performances. In fact, he's topped over 300 passing yards just once since Week 2, while also having no games this season with more than two passing touchdowns. For that reason, he's mostly just a high-end QB2.

  • Posted: 11/16/2016 1:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16, with a right shoulder injury.

Huddle Up: It's Dalton's throwing shoulder, so keep a closer eye on his status this week. The Buffalo Bills have been better than average against quarterbacks this year, so if there is a better option in one's lineup then that might be the more advisable route.

  • Posted: 11/14/2016 8:45pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 16 of his 29 pass attempts for 204 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 10 game against the New York Giants. He also ran once for 15 yards.

Huddle Up: Dalton had a decent first half, but was very quiet in the second half for fantasy owners. He'll look to rebound in Week 11 against Buffalo at home. He remains a low-end QB1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 10/30/2016 12:56pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton went 27-for-42 for 284 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Washington Redskins in Week 8. He also rushed for 21 yards and one touchdown on four carries.

Huddle Up: Dalton has thrown for eight touchdowns and one interception over the last five games and has thrown for at least 250 yards in seven of his eight games this season. He is scheduled to face the New York Giants in Week 10 and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 10/23/2016 1:59pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton went 19-for-28 for 308 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Dalton has been playing better over the last few weeks with six touchdowns and zero interceptions over the last four games. He is scheduled to face the Washington Redskins in Week 8 and can be a starting option for owners because six teams will be on bye.

  • Posted: 10/16/2016 9:23pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 21 of his 31 pass attempts for 254 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 6 game against the New England Patriots. He ran two times for 17 yards and a score, too.

Huddle Up: The Red Rifle opened the season with a pair of 366-yard passing performances, but he has just four touchdown strikes and zero 300-yard games over his past four outings. He remains more of a high-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/9/2016 8:44pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 29 of his 41 pass attempts for 269 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 5 game against the Dallas Cowboys. He also ran six times for 34 yards.

Huddle Up: Dalton started out slowly, as the team fell behind 28-0 after three quarters. He rebounded in the fourth quarter with the team abandoning the run, salvaging the stat line by playing catch up. He remains a low-end QB1 or must-start QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 9/29/2016 8:39pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed 22 of his 31 pass attempts for 296 yards and a touchdown in a 22-7 win over the Miami Dolphins Thursday, Sept. 29.

Huddle Up: Dalton is putting up plenty of yards, but he has yet to record a multi-touchdown game. He is a quality QB2 right now, but he could enjoy a nice boost in value if Tyler Eifert's return results in improved results in the red zone.

  • Posted: 9/23/2016 3:45pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 23, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Dalton is not a great option for owners in Week 3 because he is facing a tough Denver Broncos defense. Owners can bench him if they have better options to use.

  • Posted: 9/21/2016 4:21pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (hip) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Dalton should be fine for Week 3 but will be facing a tough Denver Broncos defense. Dalton could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues but could be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 9/18/2016 7:39pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton (ankle) was hobbled and limping in the locker room after the Week 2 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to an ankle issue.

Huddle Up: Dalton has passed for exactly 366 yards with one TD pass in both Week 1 and Week 2, so he would be a huge loss for fantasy owners if he is forced to miss any time. Stay tuned.

  • Posted: 8/28/2016 9:11pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton completed six of his 10 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in a 26-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, Aug. 28.

Huddle Up: Turnover among his receiving corps and an injury to Tyler Eifert could hurt his numbers a bit, but Dalton should still be one of the better QB2 options and a potential starter against friendly matchups.

  • Posted: 4/25/2016 12:13am ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton said he worked out with TCU WR Josh Doctson and believes Doctson will be successful for any team that drafts him.

Huddle Up: Reading between the lines, Doctson also would fill a need for the Bengals, who have lost Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu this offseason and have gained only journeyman Brandon LaFell in return.

  • Posted: 4/5/2016 3:47pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton is throwing the ball again and has no restrictions with his thumb, and he has visited with passing specialist Tom House once already this offseason.

Huddle Up: The 28-year-old Dalton was en route to a career year until a broken thumb sidelined him for essentially the last four games. He should, fine, physically, but will have to overcome the loss of offensive coordinator Hue Jackson and WRs Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu.
