Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: The Titans may consider keeping Murray out for at least one game so he can rest his injured hamstring, so owners should look for an update later in the week. Derrick Henry would receive a majority of the carries if Murray is ruled out and could be a starter for fantasy owners even though he will be facing a solid Seattle Seahawks defense.

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Murray's status for Week 3 is uncertain at this point and could sit out since hamstring injuries can linger. Owners should know more about the situation later in the week. Murray could be limited if he does play this week and may not be the best option for owners. Derrick Henry would receive a majority of the work if Murray sits out and would be a decent No. 2 running back or flex option.

  • Posted: 9/18/2017 4:36pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is considered day-to-day because of his hamstring injury, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Murray probably will be limited at practice for most of the week, so owners will need to check on his status later in the week. He is a solid fantasy option when he is healthy, but owners may want to consider other starting options in case Murray is ruled out for Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/18/2017 6:22am ET

Updating previous reports, Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) sat out of the second half in Week 2 due to tightness in his hamstring. It's the same injury that bothered him in the preseason.

Huddle Up: Derrick Henry has been pushing Murray all along, and it may be time for Murray to sit and heal. If Murray sits, Henry will be an RB2 option against the Seattle Seahawks. If Murray goes, he's demoted to the flex area due to the injury risk, and Henry would be an RB3 as well.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 5:30pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray ran nine times for just 25 yards in Week 2 on the road against the Jaguars and he added one catch for three yards on two targets.

Huddle Up: Murray spent most of the second half on the sidelines, apparently uninjured, serving as a spectator in the lopsided victory. Fantasy owners will be happy that Murray was uninjured, but it's unnerving seeing Derrick Henry running up and down the field with Murray looking on. We'll get a better idea of the tailback distribution in Week 3 against the Seahawks.

  • Posted: 9/16/2017 6:26pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray's 12 carries in Week 1 were tied for his second fewest since joining the Titans, and head coach Mike Mularkey said he would have liked to see more runs. 'I think we need to run it more if we can,' Mularkey said.

Huddle Up: Tennessee wants to be a run-first offense, but Murray will have his work cut out for him against a solid Jacksonville defense in Week 2. He should still be in your starting lineup, but consider him a RB2 this week.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 2:37pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray rushed for 44 yards on 12 carries against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Murray only received 12 carries during the game but should see more touches in the upcoming weeks. He will be facing a solid Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 2 but could still be a No. 2 fantasy back.

  • Posted: 8/25/2017 10:35am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) has been practicing with the team since Aug. 14, but his status for the team's third preseason game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, Aug. 27, is up in the air as head coach Mike Mularkey has yet to commit to playing him, according to ESPN.com's Cameron Wolfe.

Huddle Up: The Tennessean reported Thursday that Murray may get limited snaps, but the 29-year-old told the paper then 'if the game was today, I'd be playing.' Thus, owners can probably assume he'll be ready for a full workload in Week 1 versus the Oakland Raiders. Mularkey has stated multiple times this offseason Murray will remain his workhorse, so he is safe to draft as a RB1 at the end of the first round or the beginning of the second in the majority of fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/23/2017 6:18pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is expected to play in the preseason game against the Chicago Bears Sunday, Aug. 27, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Murray probably will play the first half of the preseason game if he does not suffer a setback in the next few days. He should receive most of the work at running back this season for the Titans and should be at least a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/19/2017 11:06am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) will not play in the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers Saturday, Aug. 19, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Murray is coming back from a hamstring injury, so the team is probably being cautious with him. He will receive a majority of the carries this season and can be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/17/2017 5:10pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is expected to play in the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers Saturday, Aug. 19.

Huddle Up: Murray probably will play around of a quarter during the game but could play less because of his injury. He should be ready for Week 1 and will receive most of the carries this season. He will be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/14/2017 7:13pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) participated in practice Monday, Aug. 14, and did more than expected.

Huddle Up: Murray is on track to be a full participant in practice in the near future and should be fine for the start of the regular season. He will receive most of the carries this season and should be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 running back.

  • Posted: 8/13/2017 6:32pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) will return to practice this week and 'do more than he did last week,' head coach Mike Mularkey said Sunday, Aug. 13.

Huddle Up: Derrick Henry is pushing for more playing time, but Murray is still top dog in Tennessee and a low-end RB1. That being said, spending a mid-round pick to add Henry as a handcuff would be wise.

  • Posted: 8/10/2017 9:21am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Monday, Aug. 14.

Huddle Up: There is a lot of hype surrounding Derrick Henry this preseason, but Murray still performed at an RB1 level last season. You might be able to get him at a discount in your draft, and he's still a low-end RB1 find.

  • Posted: 8/8/2017 3:51pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) will not play in the Titans' first preseason game this week, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Not a big surprise here. The Titans want Murray at his best when the regular season starts. The veteran running back will split time with up-and-coming Derrick Henry, but that didn't keep Murray from RB1 status last season. Assuming he's full go, Murray is worth a look as a low-end RB1 to high-end RB2 in all formats.

  • Posted: 8/7/2017 4:43pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is participating in practice Monday, Aug. 7.

Huddle Up: Murray missed a few practices because of the injury but is back on the field even if he is limited Monday. Murray will continue to receive a majority of the carries for the Titans this season and can be considered a low-end No. 1 fantasy running back.

  • Posted: 8/4/2017 5:29pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is not participating in practice Friday, Aug. 4.

Huddle Up: The Titans likely will take things slow with Murray and make sure he will be 100 percent before practicing again. Murray is coming off a very successful 2016 season and will receive most of the carries again this season. He should be considered a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 8/3/2017 10:43am ET

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is considered day-to-day after injuring his hamstring at training camp, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Murray's injury isn't serious, but one can't help but question the effects of the wear and tear he's endured over the years. Assuming he's good to go for the regular season, Murray is a viable low-end RB1 to high-end RB2 with a value uptick in PPR formats. Even so, Derrick Henry remains one of the most coveted 'handcuffs' heading into 2017.

  • Posted: 8/3/2017 9:48am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is out of practice Thursday, Aug. 3.

Huddle Up: Murray is a low-end RB1, but there are reports that Derrick Henry is pushing him and ascending in his own right. Keep tabs on him and this situation in general.

  • Posted: 7/29/2017 9:45pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray said he prides himself on taking care of his body, and he is hoping for an even bigger role in the offense this year.

Huddle Up: Derrick Henry is waiting in the wings and Tennessee added weapons for Marcus Mariota in the draft, but Murray should still be the centerpiece of the offense for at least one more year and a RB1 in all formats.

  • Posted: 6/11/2017 5:38pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (finger) is expected to have his cast removed Monday, June 12.

Huddle Up: Age isn't on Murray's side, but he should deliver at least one more year of RB1 production as the lead back in Tennessee's run-heavy offense. However, it is a good idea to handcuff him with Derrick Henry.

  • Posted: 6/9/2017 4:02pm ET

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (finger) said he recently had surgery to repair a lingering issue in with his right ring finger. Murray will miss the rest of offseason workouts but said he would be able to play if there were a game.

Huddle Up: Murray should continue to receive most of the carries this upcoming season and is coming off a solid 2016 where he posted 1,287 yards and nine touchdowns. He should be considered a solid No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 6/8/2017 11:04am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (hand) was sporting a cast on his hand Thursday, June 8, after undergoing a procedure, but head coach Mike Mularkey expects Murray to be good to go by training camp.

Huddle Up: It doesn't sound like anything serious, but pay attention to Murray's status as the offseason progresses and training camp starts. If he is indeed full go by then, he'll remain in the RB1 conversation. That being said, Derrick Henry is chomping at the bit for when Murray goes down or aggravates the hand injury. Handcuffing Henry with Murray is advisable.

  • Posted: 6/1/2017 6:49pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry has looked great in OTAs, according to head coach Mike Mularkey, and offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie said he will find a way to use both Henry and RB DeMarco Murray.

Huddle Up: After such a strong 2016 campaign, Murray looks like a safe bet to lead the backfield again this season. Draft him as a RB1, but make sure to grab Henry as a handcuff.

  • Posted: 5/28/2017 6:14pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray looked good during OTAs and showed no signs of the toe injury that hampered him at the end of last season, according to Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com.

Huddle Up: Murray was the workhorse of Tennessee's run-heavy offense last year, and he should have at least one more year of RB1 production left in him.

  • Posted: 2/22/2017 7:18pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry is an 'important part of the offense', but DeMarco Murray will remain the starter and lead runner in 2017, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Huddle Up: Depth-chart proclamations in February mean very little since they usually only serve as a reminder of how things were when the season ended; Henry and Murray obviously haven't set foot on a field in over a month. Murray logged 346 touches in 2016 and is one of the league's more complete running backs, but he is entering his age-29 season and a prime regression candidate. Henry still may not earn enough of a role to be a regular fantasy starter as a sophomore, but he remains a strong buy in dynasty leagues.

  • Posted: 1/26/2017 7:38pm ET

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott will break the franchise single-season rushing record of 1,845 yards in the next year or two, according to the current record holder, Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray.

Huddle Up: Elliott lived up to the hype in his rookie year, and he enters 2017 as a top-five pick in all formats.

  • Posted: 1/2/2017 10:24am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) is hopeful rest will be enough for him to recover from his torn plantar plate, although he has yet to rule out surgery.

Huddle Up: Murray showed he still had plenty left in the tank in 2016 after he was miscast in Philadelphia in Chip Kelly's offense, but he does have a history of foot injuries and will turn 29 in February. Derrick Henry isn't going away either, all of which makes Murray a strong bust candidate in 2017, especially if it is determined he needs surgery down the road.

  • Posted: 1/1/2017 4:05pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray entered Week 17 against the Houston Texans needing just two yards for the most rushing yards in the AFC. He posted 11 runs for just 21 yards, his worst performance of the season, but it was good enough.

Huddle Up: Murray lucked out by the fact the Pittsburgh Steelers rested Le'Veon Bell. Murray didn't finish on a high note, but he still wrapped up the rushing title. His role could continue to decrease into 2017 with the presence of Derrick Henry, who came on strong down the stretch.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 2:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray rushed 14 times for just 42 yards in the Week 16 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and he added two receptions for 18 yards on four targets.

Huddle Up: It was a disappointing performance for Murray, especially for fantasy owners in championship games with what appeared to be a favorable matchup.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 8:02pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray rushed 18 times for 89 yards in the Week 15 game against the Kansas City Chiefs and he added five receptions for 52 yards on six targets.

Huddle Up: Murray has re-emerged as a top fantasy option after a year of exile in Philadelphia in 2015. The Titans meet the Jaguars in Week 16.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 7:05pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray rushed 21 times for 92 yards and a touchdown in the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos. He was targeted twice in the pass game, but had no receptions.

Huddle Up: Murray looks rejuvenated in Nashville this season, and rookie Derrick Henry hasn't really carved into Murray's workload. He remains a bona fide RB1 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/10/2016 6:32pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry will be ready when he has his chance to be the lead back, offensive coordinator Terry Robiskie said, but head coach Mike Mularkey said he won't alter RB DeMarco Murray's workload just to appease Henry.

Huddle Up: Henry has shown promise when he has been given the ball, but he remains merely a handcuff to Murray at this point.

  • Posted: 12/5/2016 4:56pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) participated in practice Monday, Dec. 5.

Huddle Up: Murray has been able to play despite the injury and should receive plenty of touches in Week 14. He was held to only 43 yards in his last game but should still be a No. 2 running back in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 4:59pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (toe) rushed 17 times for 43 yards in the Week 12 game against the Chicago Bears. He added five receptions for 41 yards on his five targets.

Huddle Up: Murray entered with a toe injury, and perhaps he was bothered by the issue. His rushing yardage total was his lowest since Week 1 against Minnesota. He remains a must-start fantasy option in Week 14, as the bye in Week 13 should help him rest his bumps and bruises.

  • Posted: 11/25/2016 5:39pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Huddle Up: Murray saw his five-game touchdown streak snapped last week but was still able to rush for 70 yards. He probably will receive most of the work at running back and should be a No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 6:03pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Start Murray with a confidence as a RB1 against the Bears in Week 12.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 2:22pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Murray was hampered with his foot injury last week too, but he still turned in 79 total yards and a touchdown. The Chicago Bears have defended the run really well this year, but Murray is practically matchup proof this season and the Bears are missing one of their best run stoppers in Jerrell Freeman. Start Murray as an RB1 like you normally would.

  • Posted: 11/18/2016 5:26pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

Huddle Up: Murray should receive most of the carries for the Titans this week and has rushed for at least 100 yards in three of the last four games. He should be a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/17/2016 3:29pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 17.

Huddle Up: After sitting out practice Wednesday, this should ensure the former Dallas Cowboy suits up in a very salivating Week 11 matchup versus the Colts, who sport one of the league's worst defenses. Regardless, Murray is a RB1 opposite any opponent, and will enter Sunday on an impressive streak of having scored a touchdown in five straight contests.

  • Posted: 11/16/2016 4:04pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Huddle Up: Murray should have a decent chance to play in Week 11 despite the injury, but owners should check on his practice participation over the next few days to make sure of his status. He has rushed for at least 100 yards in three of the last four games and has a touchdown in each of his last five games. He should be considered a No. 1 running back in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/13/2016 4:56pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) rushed 17 times for 123 yards and a touchdown in the Week 10 game against the Green Bay Packers. He added two receptions for 33 yards on three receptions. Murray also threw a 10-yard touchdown pass.

Huddle Up: Murray was on the injury report this week with a foot ailment, but that was obviously not a problem in this one. He faces another favorable matchup in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts.

  • Posted: 11/11/2016 1:12pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) was a full participant at practice Friday, Nov. 11.

Huddle Up: After not practicing on Tuesday and getting in a limited session on Wednesday, Murray should put his owners at ease after getting in this full practice. In other words, he should have no issues suiting up on Sunday against the Packers, and as usual, he'll be an RB1 in that matchup.

  • Posted: 11/10/2016 2:56pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) put in a limited practice Thursday, Nov. 10.

Huddle Up: Murray looks to be on track to gut it out this week, but he has a tough matchup against one of the better run defenses in the Green Bay Packers. Still, Murray's volume will be substantial if he's healthy enough for it to be. View him as an RB1.

  • Posted: 11/9/2016 3:32pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Murray should be able to play this week, but owners will need to check on his status later in the week. He has run for a touchdown in each of his last four games and has at least 20 carries in five of their last six games. He will have a tough matchup this week but can still be a solid No. 2 running back.

  • Posted: 11/7/2016 8:18pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray will face the Green Bay Packers in Week 10. The Packers rank No. 1 in the NFL in rushing defense, giving up just 75.8 yards per game with four touchdowns.

Huddle Up: Murray has a tough game on deck, but he has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option in all formats this season, especially PPR leagues. He could rack up considerable yardage out of the backfield against a poor Packers pass D.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 10:47pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray rushed 14 times for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the San Diego Chargers and he added seven receptions for 29 yards on his seven targets.

Huddle Up: Murray has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option after a rough time in Philadelphia last season. He is especially useful in PPR leagues, and he faces another favorable matchup against Green Bay in Week 10.

  • Posted: 11/6/2016 6:05am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (toe) is expected to play in Week 9's game against the San Diego Chargers, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Murray was not listed on the injury report and was a full participant in the team's final two practices during the week. He's worth starting in all fantasy formats due to the favorable matchup, even though Derrick Henry is also expected to see a decent amount of playing time.

  • Posted: 11/4/2016 11:05am ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (toe) practiced without limitations Friday, Nov. 4, and is expected to play Week 9 against the San Diego Chargers.

Huddle Up: The Titans might choose to give rookie Derrick Henry a bit more work this weekend, but the overall RB2 should be in line for another 20 touches in what should be one of the more favorable matchups he is going to see all season.

  • Posted: 11/3/2016 3:09pm ET

Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot) participated fully in practice Thursday, Nov. 3.

Huddle Up: Your worries can be set aside. Murray is one of the better starts of the week as far as running backs are concerned. The San Diego Chargers are quite accommodating to backs this year, giving up 12 total touchdowns to the position through eight games. Murray is a top-tier RB1 for Week 9, even with Derrick Henry looming to steal touches.
