The New York Jets have announced they have released TE Bubba Franks.
The Huddle Take: A promising TE just a few short years ago in Green Bay, Franks has fallen hard and fast. He'll likely get a chance somewhere else, but his days of fantasy value are likely over.

Roderick Boone, of Newsday, reports New York Jets TE Bubba Franks said he does not expect to participate in many practices before training camp because of his knee injury.
The Huddle Take: Franks is a veteran, so there shouldn't be too many worries about him missing minicamp and OTA work. And at this stage in his career—and with Dustin Keller also on the Jets roster—Franks is a blocking tight end, so fantasy folks needn't worry much about him at all.

Jets Confidential reports New York Jets TE Bubba Franks (groin) may be able to play in the team's Week 13 game.
