New England Patriots RB Sammy Morris (knee) was listed as questionable for the team's Week 11 game, but he did play and had five carries off the bench.
The Huddle Take: This is good news for Morris owners as before his injury he was as solid a back as the Patriots had, and he's their main goal line back, another fantasy bonus. Assuming he stays healthy he should help solidify rosters of some desperate owners.

The Huddle Take: No Morris means more BenJarvus Green-Ellis, though this week's matchup with the Jets is hardly a favorable one.

The Boston Globe reports New England Patriots RB Sammy Morris (knee) said he is frustrated by his knee injury but it will not keep him out for the rest of the season. '[Head coach Bill Belichick] describes it [as] day to day and that's how I describe it. I'll be back ASAP. It's dealing with the unfortunate part of the game and I'm working my way back,' Morris said.
The Huddle Take: Most reports have Morris missing at least another game or two with this knee injury. It's going to be Green-Ellis and Faulk carrying the load until Morris is healthy.

The NFL Network reports New England Patriots RB Sammy Morris (knee) is expected to miss two to three weeks because of a knee injury, according to a league source.
The Huddle Take: Tragic news for the Patriots running back as he ran with a vengenance before getting injured against the Denver Broncos on Monday night. Look for Kevin Faulk to get limited opportunities on passing downs and rookie Benjarvus Green-Ellis to get the majority of the action with Sammy Morris out of the lineup in Week 8.

The Huddle Take: Not a good sign as far as Morris' availability for this week against the Rams is concerned. If neither Morris nor Lamont Jordan can go, look for BenJarvus Green-Ellis to get a healthy dose of carries.

Morris (knee) had 16 carries for 138 yards with a touchdown during the team's Week 7 game. He suffered a knee injury during the game and was unable to return.
The Huddle Take: Details on the injury are sketchy, but Morris' inability to return after a monster first half is a bad sign. To say Morris' availability this week against the Rams is in question is an understatement.
