Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will move around the offensive formation this season so the team can keep defenses honest, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald had a disappointing season in 2018 but should continue to have a solid role in the passing game. He has been a consistent contributor in fantasy leagues during his career and can still be considered a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

  • Posted: 6/17/2019 10:47pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald has shown up to almost every voluntary workout so far during his 16th NFL offseason. 'I am hoping he enjoys the process and enjoys what the offense turns into and gives him a reason to stick around a few more years,' head coach Kliff Kingsbury said. 'But he practices and he plays like he's trying to make the team, and that's the biggest compliment I can give him. He doesn't need it, and you'd think he's starving out there. It's impressive to watch.'

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is learning a new offense, and he is working with rookie Kyler Murray trying to develop a rapport. The veteran remains a freak of nature who refuses to allow Father Time to catch up to him. He had 69 grabs for 734 yards and six touchdowns in 2018, but the lower production was more due to a poor offense than anything on him. He remains a decent WR3/4 or flex fantasy option heading into 2019.

  • Posted: 5/20/2019 7:03pm ET

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson and WR Larry Fitzgerald were not present during practice Monday, May 20.

Huddle Up: Both Johnson and Fitzgerald could participate in practice later this offseason and should be on the field for mandatory minicamp. Johnson will be a No. 1 running back in fantasy leagues this upcoming season, while Fitzgerald could be a No. 3 receiver.

  • Posted: 5/18/2019 6:36pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald could reach 100 catches because of all the 'quick-rhythm throws' in head coach Kliff Kingsbury's offense, in the opinion of Bucky Brooks of NFL.com.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is coming off a down year, but with Kyler Murray under center and a pass-happy offense being installed, he could see an uptick in his numbers. While 100 catches may be a little optimistic, Fitzgerald is Arizona's most dependable receiver. It wouldn't be a shock to see him finish as a solid WR3.

  • Posted: 3/6/2019 10:00pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald didn't want to wrap up his career after a poor 2018 season. 'We had a really bad season last year and I just didn't want to go out on that level,' Fitzgerald said on a podcast via the team's official website. 'You've got to live the rest of your life knowing you went out on that level.'

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald showed he still has plenty left in the tank, posting 69 grabs for 734 yards and six touchdowns in his 15th NFL season. However, his yardage total did mark a career low. He is more of a WR4 or WR5 in most fantasy leagues heading into 2019.

  • Posted: 1/24/2019 5:23am ET

Updating previous reports, Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald's one-year deal is worth nearly $16 million. He'll have an $11 million base salary and received a $4.85 million signing bonus.

Huddle Up: Fitz took a step back in fantasy last season, albeit the quarterback issues had something to do with it. That may not change in 2019, and he's a PPR WR3 target with minimal upside.

  • Posted: 1/23/2019 12:38pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald needs 23 receptions to reach 1,326 receptions and pass former NFL TE Tony Gonzalez for second place on the all-time receptions list. Former NFL WR Jerry Rice tops the list at 1,549 catches. For a loftier goal, Fitzgerald needs 13 touchdowns to reach 129 career receiving touchdowns and pass former NFL WR Marvin Harrison for fifth on the all-time receiving touchdowns list.

Huddle Up: After Fitz finishes his 2019 campaign, he'll go down as one of the greatest wide receivers in the history of the game. His 2018 season left something to be desired, but he has scored at least six touchdowns in each of the last four seasons. With a new offensive minded head coach and another offseason under Josh Rosen's belt, Fitz possesses PPR WR2 value.

  • Posted: 1/23/2019 6:37am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald announced Wednesday, Jan. 23, that he'll return for the 2019 season.

Huddle Up: Fitz had a 69-734-6 season, which was well below the 100-catch, 1,000-yard seasons the three years previously. The rookie quarterback was part of the problem, but he doesn't have much more upside next season. He's still a PPR asset, but he'll be a mid-round option as a WR3.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 11:44pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught four of his nine targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 versus the Seattle Seahawks.

Huddle Up: There is a chance Fitzgerald was playing the final game of his distinguished career, although he still has plenty left to give physically. Whether or not he wants to return for another year of the Cardinals' rebuilding project is another story. Fitzgerald ends his 15th season with 69 catches, 734 yards and six touchdowns. If he calls it a career, he'll do so ranked inside the top three all-time in career receptions (1,303) and receiving yards (16,279) with an invite to the Hall of Fame coming five years down the road.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 3:41pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 28, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been targeted 26 times over the last three games and appears to have a solid chemistry with Josh Rosen. He can be considered a flex option in some leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 4:57pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been targeted at least six times in each of the last four games and has recorded over 50 yards in each of the last three games. He can be considered a flex option in some deeper leagues but can also be benched if owners have better options.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 10:28am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice Thursday, Dec. 27, after receiving a veteran's rest day on Wednesday.

Huddle Up: Fitz has been heavily involved in the Cards' passing attack of late, drawing 26 targets over the last three games and converting those into 18 receptions for 190 yards while also throwing a 32-yard TD pass. Expect that usage to continue Sunday in what could be his final NFL game.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 6:38pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: It's typical protocol for the future Hall-of-Fame wide-out. He'll continue serving as a serviceable WR3 in leagues that are still going on into Week 17. Fitzgerald has drawn at least eight targets in each of the last three games -- and may see more than that if this is indeed his final NFL game.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 7:13pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught six of his nine targets for 53 yards and threw a 32-yard touchdown pass in a 31-9 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald hasn't announced if he will return in 2019, but in the meantime, he remains a low-upside flex option heading into what could be his final NFL game.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 2:34pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been targeted 23 times over the last three weeks and is coming off one of his better games of the season in Week 15. He will be facing a solid Los Angeles Rams defense this week but could still be a low-end No. 3 receiver or flex option.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 7:47pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald faces the Los Angeles Rams in Week 16, and his 179 receptions against the Rams are the most that one player has against a single opponent in NFL history.

Huddle Up: It's been a rough year for Fitzgerald with rookie Josh Rosen under center, but he has shown a little life recently with 12 catches on 17 targets for 137 yards over the last two games. The Cardinals will likely be playing from behind against the Rams, so Fitzgerald has some WR3 potential.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 4:28pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) was back at practice Thursday, Dec. 20, and fully participated.

Huddle Up: This is how it normally goes for the future Hall-of-Fame wide-out in terms of practicing. He'll be out there on Sunday versus the Rams and could benefit considerably from game flow if the Cardinals are losing decisively for most of the contest. As a result, he's a viable WR3.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 5:25pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: It's just a standard rest day for the 15-year vet. Though Arizona's offense has mostly struggled with rookie QB Josh Rosen, Fitzgerald has still proven himself as a viable WR3. He logged his third game of the season with at least seven catches in his most recent outing and has drawn 17 targets the last two weeks.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 3:37pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught seven of eight targets for 82 yards in the Week 15 loss at the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: The well-seasoned veteran continues to chip in but hasn't been his former self due to injuries and erratic quarterback play in 2018. The Los Angeles Rams are ahead in Week 16, and Fitz has low-tier appeal in all formats. He caught just three passes for 28 yards in the Week 2 meeting.

  • Posted: 12/14/2018 11:52am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has not been as productive this season as he has been in the past but is still posting solid numbers for owners. He should have some success this week against the Atlanta Falcons and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 1:56pm ET

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been targeted 15 times over the last two games but has posted over 50 yards in only one of the last five games. He could be a flex option in some leagues but is not a must-start option.

  • Posted: 12/13/2018 10:37am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice Thursday, Dec. 13, after taking a rest day Wednesday.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is fine and is a low-end flex consideration for the Week 15 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

  • Posted: 12/12/2018 1:50pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (not injury related) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald was simply getting his regular mid-week day of rest during practice. You know the drill by now. He'll likely be removed from the injury report on Friday barring any type of injury in practice between now and then.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 8:52pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald finished with five grabs for 55 yards on nine targets in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald continues to produce as a decent low-end WR3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues. The Cardinals will travel to meet the defensively-challenged Falcons in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/7/2018 2:01pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is not putting up the numbers he did in the past but does have three touchdowns in his last three games. He can be a flex option in fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 3:38pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 6.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has posted three touchdowns over the last three games but has posted at least 50 yards in only one of the last four games. He can still be considered a flex option in fantasy leagues because he is the main option in the Cardinals passing game.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 5:41pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald recorded three receptions for 48 yards on six targets in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald had another marginal yardage total and he failed to find the end zone, too. Still, he has two or more grabs in each of his 12 games this season, and five scores over the past six games. He remains a decent WR3 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 14 against the Lions.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 12:16pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has recorded three touchdowns in the last two weeks but has also been held to four catches and 52 yards in those games. He can be a flex option for owners this week but is not a must-start option.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 4:37pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice Thursday, Nov. 29, and was a full participant.

Huddle Up: This is how it usually goes for the future Hall-of-Famer. Fitzgerald cold be a useful WR3 this week, as the Cardinals are expected to be losing handily throughout their game in Green Bay, which would lead to more passing than usual from the Arizona offense.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 2:26pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (not injury related) was given the day off from practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Huddle Up: It's become customary for league veterans to get a maintenance day to rest their bumps and bruises, and Fitzgerald certainly has earned it. The 35-year-old keeps chugging along, win or lose, serving as the consummate pro. He has five touchdowns over his past five games and at least two grabs in all 11 outings this season. Fitzgerald remains a solid WR3 or flex fantasy option in most formats.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 6:41pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught both of his targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in a 45-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12.

Huddle Up: The reception and yardage totals have left a lot to be desired, but Fitzgerald has managed five touchdowns in his last five games. His nose for the end zone makes him a flex candidate.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 2:57pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 22.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald was limited to 23 yards last week, but both of his catches were for touchdowns. He appears to have better chemistry with Josh Rosen and can be a flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 11/21/2018 4:52pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) was absent from practice Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Huddle Up: This is just the norm for Fitzgerald in order to manage his reps. Even so, he's just a WR3 these days, though that has more to do with the situation of the offense he plays in.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 7:03pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught two passes for 23 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-21 loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald's yardage totals have remained disappointing most weeks, but he does have four touchdowns in his last four games. He can be a touchdown-dependent flex play.

  • Posted: 11/15/2018 4:02pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 15.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been playing better lately and has been targeted 30 times over the last three games. He has a chance to be a No. 3 receiver or flex option this week against the Oakland Raiders.

  • Posted: 11/14/2018 4:42pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Huddle Up: The veteran was simply just getting a day off in order to manage his reps. He'll be out there come Sunday, but at this point in time, it's under the status of a WR3 with inconsistent freshman Josh Rosen throwing him the football.

  • Posted: 11/10/2018 7:36pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald faces the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, and the Chiefs have allowed the most receiving yards in the NFL this season.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is building some momentum with Josh Rosen, scoring in back-to-back games and topping 100 yards the last time out. The Cardinals will likely be playing from behind against Kansas City, which should at least make Fitzgerald a volume-based WR3.

  • Posted: 11/9/2018 1:12pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is coming off a terrific Week 8 performance and appears to be building chemistry with Josh Rosen. He has a chance to be productive against the Kansas City Chiefs this week and could be a flex option for owners.

  • Posted: 11/8/2018 2:22pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is coming off his best game of the season in Week 9 and is on a two-game touchdown streak. He has a chance to have another solid game this week and can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option.

  • Posted: 11/8/2018 10:32am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald returned to practice Thursday, Nov. 8, after receiving a veteran's rest day the previous day.

Huddle Up: The season has been a struggle for the 35-year-old Fitzgerald and the Arizona offense. But the veteran wideout did hit season highs in targets (10), receptions (8) and yards (102) in Week 8 in the first game under new offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, so don't be hesitant to roll out Fitz as a flex/low-end WR2 this week -- especially in a favorable matchup against the Chiefs.

  • Posted: 11/7/2018 2:16pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (rest) took the day off from practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Huddle Up: Byron Leftwitch taking over as offensive coordinator has seemingly breathed new life into Fitz. In his first game with Leftwitch as OC, Fitzgerald amassed a season-high eight catches and 102 yards, scoring once. Arizona figures to be playing catchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, making him a WR2 candidate.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 7:28pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught eight of his 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown in an 18-15 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald set season highs in catches and targets while logging his first 100-yard effort. It's a small sample size, but Fitzgerald looked like his old self in Byron Leftwich's first game as the offensive coordinator. His fantasy owners can only help it is a sign of things to come.

  • Posted: 10/26/2018 1:46pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 26, and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been targeted 16 times over the last two weeks but only has recorded 79 yards in those games. He still does not have great chemistry with Josh Rosen and could be benched this week if better options are available.

  • Posted: 10/25/2018 6:20pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald isn't 'dead yet,' according to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, and Leftwich said Fitzgerald has to have the ball more often.

Huddle Up: The Cardinals have struggled overall, and Fitzgerald is one of the many victims. A concentrated effort to give him the ball can't hurt the situation, but he's no more than a WR4 at this point.

  • Posted: 10/25/2018 4:54pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday, Oct. 25, and was a full participant.

Huddle Up: As expected, the veteran wide-out is on track to play in Week 8, but he won't come with the most encouraging forecast. Arizona's offense has been inconsistent with rookie Josh Rosen under center, and thus, Fitzgerald is just an uninspiring WR3 right now.

  • Posted: 10/24/2018 4:09pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Huddle Up: The Cardinals have been limiting Fitzgerald's reps, so it's not a surprise to see him sidelined for at least one practice in any given week. Owners should still be checking in, though, to make sure the veteran will ultimately be fine for Week 8. He still carries WR3 value.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 9:58pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was targeted eight times, catching four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown during the the team's Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Huddle Up: It took seven games, but the future Hall of Famer finally scored a TD. Although it's a step in the right direction for the veteran, whose eight targets were tied for the team lead, it's still difficult to advocate putting Fitzgerald in your starting lineup unless you're really up against it.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 12:50pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (back) was full go in practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments of the 2018 season. We need to wait until he starts performing consistently until we plug him into starting lineups on a weekly basis. As for this week, start him as a flex if you're desperate.

  • Posted: 10/16/2018 2:11pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (back) was limited in practice Tuesday, Oct. 16.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments of 2018. He has yet to eclipse 80 yards, but he was targeted eight times in Week 6. Opportunities should be there versus a susceptible Denver Broncos defense. It may not be a comfortable exercise, but starting him as a flex is OK.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 6:26pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (back) was listed as a limited participant in practice Monday, Oct. 15.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has posted 22 receptions for 215 yards with no touchdowns on 35 targets through six games. He has powered down to WR4 status in most fantasy leagues, and age (35) combined with shaky quarterback play has contributed to his demise. He had five grabs for 39 yards in Week 6 against the Vikings, his best line since Week 1, so that tells you a little about how things are going for the future Hall of Famer.
