Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald's one-year extension doesn't necessarily mean he will play in 2018, but it does mean that if he plays, it will be for the Cardinals, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is currently third in the NFL and first in the NFC with 60 receptions, so he clearly has plenty left to offer. Even with Drew Stanton under center, he will be a dependable WR3 against the Houston Texans in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/16/2017 5:16pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is close to a one-year contract extension with the Cardinals that would run through the 2018 season, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been playing well this season and currently has 60 receptions, 677 yards and three touchdowns in 2017. He should be considered a No. 3 receiver in all leagues and probably will have similar value next season.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 7:24pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald posted five receptions for 70 yards on nine targets in Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: No Carson Palmer, no problem for the future Hall of Famer. He had the past two weeks to re-introduce himself and build rapport with Drew Stanton and the duo were on the same page. Fitz remains a dependable fantasy option in all formats.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 5:15pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was limited to two receptions for 29 yards on three targets in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams in London.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald didn't do much and now he'll have to develop a rapport with Drew Stanton over the next two weeks during the bye. Carson Palmer checked out of this one with a broken arm and is lost for at least eight weeks.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 8:19pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught 10 of his 11 targets for 138 yards and a touchdown in a 38-33 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.

Huddle Up: The veteran continues to pile up targets, catches and yards, and he can be locked in as a WR2 heading into a Week 7 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 2:28pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught six passes for 51 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is the main option in the Cardinals passing game and has been targeted at least 10 times in three games this season. He should be considered at least a No. 3 receiver against most opponents.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 8:22pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald had just four receptions for 32 yards in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, but one of his catches was the game-winning touchdown grab in overtime.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald didn't have a great yardage total, but he is showing no signs of slowing down. He has totaled 26 receptions through four games including touchdown grabs in each of his past two outings.

  • Posted: 9/25/2017 9:33pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald recorded his most receptions in a game since 2009 when he hauled in 13-of-15 targets for 149 receiving yards in the team's Week 3 affair Monday, Sept. 25, against the Dallas Cowboys. He also scored a touchdown.

Huddle Up: This was very refreshing for his owners after Fitzgerald totaled a measly nine catches for 95 yards combined in the first two games. Opposite the Cowboys, the 34-year-old proved that he can still be a capable WR1 in 2017. As long as John Brown remains out, Fitzgerald should continue to benefit from that as well.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 3:45pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught three passes for 21 yards in a 16-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Sept. 17.

Huddle Up: The question among a lot of people after the game was why didn't Carson Palmer target Fitzgerald more often? This was a deep dropoff for Fitzgerald and definitely disappointed his fantasy owners. You may want to leave Fitzgerald in flex status for the time being, as the Dallas Cowboys are up next in Week 3 on Monday Night Football. See how he does in that game.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 4:31pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald posted six receptions for 74 yards on a game-high 13 targets in Week 1 on the road against the Lions.

Huddle Up: People keep trying to write the aging veteran off and he just keeps on producing. As long as he can stay healthy Fitzgerald should still be treated as a PPR WR2/3 or flex fantasy play heading into Week 2 in Indianapolis.

  • Posted: 9/8/2017 1:24pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) practiced in full for the second consecutive day on Friday, Sept. 8.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald, like many veterans, was held out of Wednesday's practice to rest. You can expect this to be the norm for the wideout as he is preserved for late-week practices and games. He is a solid WR3 or flex option heading into Week 1 against the Lions.

  • Posted: 9/7/2017 2:24pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 7.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald probably will receive more practices off during the season to make sure he stays fresh and should continue to be a solid option for fantasy owners. He should be considered at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/6/2017 3:02pm ET

Arizona Cardinals QB Larry Fitzgerald (rest) was not at practice Wednesday, Sept. 6, but his absence was not injury related.

Huddle Up: Head coach Bruce Arians was apparently resting his key veterans in preparation for the regular season opener in Detroit. The 34-year-old receiver showed last season he still has plenty left in the tank and he remains a viable low-end WR1 or must-start WR2 in most fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 7/23/2017 5:32pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said Sunday, July 23, that the only reason he is still playing is to 'chase a championship.'

Huddle Up: There has been speculation that Fitzgerald could retire after the year, and if the Cardinals aren't competitive, it sounds like that could be the case. As far as this season goes, Fitzgerald is still a WR2 candidate, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 7/22/2017 6:40pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will be held out of the Hall-of-Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys Thursday, Aug. 3, according to head coach Bruce Arians.

Huddle Up: The veteran has nothing to gain by playing in the preseason contest. He led the NFL in receptions last year, so the veteran still has plenty to offer fantasy owners. He has a save floor and should deliver WR2 production.

  • Posted: 7/6/2017 6:40pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald finished tied for second in the NFL last season with 63 catches from the slot.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald led the NFL in total receptions last year, and his ability to line up all over the field should help the veteran remain effective. He is a high-floor WR3 with WR2 potential in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 5/22/2017 9:08pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald said Monday, May 22, he plans on addressing his post-2017 future once during training camp and won't talk about it anymore after that.

Huddle Up: No matter what his decision is, the 33-year-old will be on the field for the upcoming season and if last year is any indication, he still has plenty left in the tank. Fitzgerald notched his fourth-career campaign with 100 or more catches (107) and eighth-career 1,000-yard season (1,023) in 2016, and as a result, should still be viewed as a WR2 fantasy option going into training camp.

  • Posted: 5/12/2017 7:04pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Chad Williams is considered someone who can 'carry the torch' once WR Larry Fitzgerald decides to retire, according to offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin.

Huddle Up: Williams probably won't contribute a lot this year, but he could find himself with a much bigger role in the offense as soon as 2018. He should be owned in all keeper formats.

  • Posted: 2/1/2017 7:13pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald announced Wednesday, Feb. 1, that he is 'definitely' returning for a 14th season and play out the final year of his contract in 2017, according to ESPN's Jim Trotter.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald's return at least gives Arizona a fighting chance to remain competitive in 2017 while the team continues to develop its young talent at receiver. Fitzgerald's second-half fades over the last two years will continue to be a concern entering his age-34 season, but it's hard to complain too much about a receiver who has proven 100-catch upside and will likely be available in the middle rounds in fantasy drafts again this summer.

  • Posted: 1/29/2017 12:50pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald reportedly told friends in September he expected 2016 to be his last season. He has yet to make a definitive decision one way or the other, but when asked about his future last offseason, the 10-time Pro Bowler told KMVP-FM 'a lot of it's tied to Carson (Palmer).'

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is 33 and led the NFL with 107 receptions this season, so while he wouldn't be leaving the game in his prime, he would be doing so despite transforming himself into one of the league's top slot receivers in recent years. With Palmer also pondering retirement, expect Arizona to target receiver early in April's NFL Draft. If Fitzgerald retires, John Brown, J.J. Nelson and Jaron Brown, who is recovering from a torn ACL, would be the Cardinals' top receivers as things stand at the moment.

  • Posted: 1/18/2017 5:49pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald finished the 2016 season with 107 receptions, which was the most in the NFL.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has finished each of the last two seasons with at least 100 catches and has accomplished the feat four times in his career. He may consider retirement this offseason, so owners will need to monitor his situation. Fitzgerald can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues if he decides to play in 2017.

  • Posted: 1/14/2017 8:05pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald hasn't committed to playing in 2017, and head coach Bruce Arians said he won't try to convince Fitzgerald to return because the decision to play should be his call.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald led the NFL with 107 catches this season, so there is no question he can still produce. If he returns, he is a WR2 candidate with added value in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 12/30/2016 3:11pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been receiving plenty of targets over the past month but has been held to 31 yards or less in two of the last three games. He has also gone 10 games without a touchdown, which has hurt his fantasy value. Fitzgerald can still be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option because of his role in the passing game.

  • Posted: 12/29/2016 7:37pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Dec. 29.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald's production has slipped in recent weeks, but the targets are still there. He could easily be a WR3 against the Rams in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/28/2016 5:48pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been fairly quiet over the last few weeks and has been held to 31 yards or less in two of his last three games. He has been targeted at least nine times in three of the last four games and can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in leagues.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 5:55pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald posted four receptions for 31 yards on his four targets in the Week 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks. He has back-to-back seasons with 100 or more catches for the first time in his career, and he has reached the mark four times in his career.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald needs 20 yards in Week 17 to go over 1,000 yards for the eighth time in his career. He will face the Los Angeles Rams on the road in the regular season finale.

  • Posted: 12/18/2016 7:54pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald was uncertain about whether he wants to return and play in the 2017 season. 'We'll see what's going on this offseason?but right now my attention is solely focused on Seattle Saturday,' he said Sunday, Dec. 18.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is still playing at a high level and he has been a strong fantasy option more often than not. He had seven receptions for 57 yards on nine targets in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 7:57pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 16, and isn't listed on the Week 15 injury report.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald logged a full session after resting earlier in the week, and Carson Palmer's favorite target should be a high floor WR2 against the Saints in Week 15, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 12/15/2016 6:45pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Dec. 15.

Huddle Up: The release of Michael Floyd should further entrench Fitzgerald as the go-to option in the passing attack. He should be safe to deploy as a low-end WR2 against the Saints in Week 15.

  • Posted: 12/14/2016 5:46pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald was held to 12 yards in his last game but has been a consistent receiver for fantasy owners this season. He will have a favorable matchup this week and can be a No. 3 receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/11/2016 5:19pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald posted three receptions for 12 yards in the Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins. He was targeted a game-high nine times.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald had 60 or more receiving yards in 10 of his 12 games this season, so this really hurt fantasy owners. He hasn't visited the end zone in eight games dating back to Oct. 6, so he should be treated more as a WR3 at this juncture of the fantasy season.

  • Posted: 12/9/2016 3:20pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been a consistent producer for owners over the last month or so but has not found the end zone lately. He should be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/8/2016 2:18pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) participated fully in practice Thursday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: Despite a down year for the Cardinals, Fitz has shown his all-too familiar consistency. He does have more value in PPR leagues, but he should be considered a WR2 in both standard and PPR formats this week, especially with John Brown likely seeing limited snaps.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 4:05pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald is still being targeted often during games this season and is posting solid receiving yards but has gone seven games without a touchdown. He should be a decent No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 7:09pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 2, and is not listed on the Week 13 injury report.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has managed at least 60 yards in nine of 11 games this season, and he should be a reliable WR2 against Washington in Week 13.

  • Posted: 12/2/2016 5:24am ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald may be shadowed in the slot by Washington Redskins CB Josh Norman in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Fitz is having a 78-802-5 season in what has validated his renaissance at age 33. The Redskins present a midrange matchup, and Fitzgerald is a solid WR2 this week.

  • Posted: 12/1/2016 7:49pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Dec. 1.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been one of the more dependable receivers this season. He should be in the WR2 mix against Washington in Week 13, especially in PPR formats.

  • Posted: 11/30/2016 4:57pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has been a consistent option for fantasy owners but has gone six games without a touchdown. He should still be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 1:39pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald caught four passes for 53 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald was held to under five passes for the first time this season but did catch all four targets thrown to him. He has been a reliable fantasy option this season and should continue to be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for owners.

  • Posted: 11/25/2016 1:49pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (not injury related) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 25.

Huddle Up: His status for Week 12 isn't even in doubt. And even though quarterback Carson Palmer has been trending down as of late, it hasn't messed with Fitzgerald's notable consistency, meaning he should remain in all fantasy starting lineups. The 33-year-old is also overdue to get back into the end zone, having not scored since Week 5.

  • Posted: 11/24/2016 7:57pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Nov. 24.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald's safe floor keeps him in the mix as a WR2 most weeks, and he has WR1 upside in Week 12 in what should be a high-scoring game against the Falcons.

  • Posted: 11/23/2016 3:30pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has caught at least six passes in each of the last six games but has not caught a touchdown in the last five games. He will continue to be a main factor in the passing game and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 11/18/2016 3:28pm ET

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 18, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

Huddle Up: Fitzgerald has caught at least five passes in every game this season and has at least 10 catches in each of the last two games. He should be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues as long as he is active.
