The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo is not expected to replace QB Marc Bulger as the starting quarterback. 'I think Marc has done everything we needed him to do,' Spagnuolo said. 'I've said this before; it's not one position on the side of the ball, it's everybody.'
The Huddle Take: It would be odd to bench Bulger coming off the Rams' first win of the season. He'll be the one under center when the Rams return from their bye in Week 10.

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger had X-rays on his left, non-throwing hand following Week 7, but said it was for precautionary reasons only.
The Huddle Take: Whew, the Rams would really fall apart without Bulger in the lineup. As if things could get worse in St. Louis.
Posted: 10/16/2009 11:40pm et
St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) was not listed on the team's injury report for Week 6. He was throwing well by the end of the week.
The Huddle Take: Bulger has fallen on hard times in St. Louis the past few seasons and seems to be either injured or constantly harrassed in the pocket due to poor pass protection. The Rams have a decent matchup in Week 6 against Jacksonville's weak pass defense however the question remains can Bulger get the time to throw the ball and is there any lingering effects of his shoulder injury?

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) took all the snaps with the first-team offense during practice Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The Huddle Take: Bulger will get the starting nod, and could be a good sleeper candidate against a weak Jacksonville pass defense if you have QB bye week troubles.
Posted: 10/13/2009 11:34am et
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 6, according to head coach Steve Spagnuolo, assuming Bulger is fit and looks good throwing the ball in practice Wednesday, Oct. 14. The team was hoping to give Bulger an extra week off in Week 5 before starting in Week 6, however an injury to QB Kyle Boller (concussion) forced Bulger into action.
The Huddle Take: Neither Bulger nor any of his receivers are good Fantasy options, but he's better than Boller, so Steven Jackson's numbers could increase.
Posted: 10/12/2009 12:12pm et
Bill Coats, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports Rams QB Marc Bulger said he should be ready to play in Week 6, even though he made an appearance in Week 5 following an injury to QB Kyle Boller. "It's getting close,' Bulger said. 'I still need a little more velocity throwing the ball. You never know till you get hit, so we'll see. But ... I think I'll be ready to play the game next week."
The Huddle Take: Even when Bulger returns to full health he's not much of a fantasy option for the winless Rams.
Posted: 10/3/2009 4:18pm et
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports head coach Steve Spagnuolo said if QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) suits up for Week 4, it will be as the team's No. 3 quarterback.
The Huddle Take: Not that you'd have been starting him anyway, but here is the official word. Bulger barely even warrants sitting on a roster at this point.
Posted: 9/28/2009 4:47pm et
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the rotator-cuff injury St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) suffered is not serious. His status for Week 4 is uncertain.
The Huddle Take: That makes Steven Jackson a less risky play since opposing defenses will still have to somewhat respect the Ram passing "attack." But no other Ram is really worth a start -- especially if Bulger misses any significant time.
Posted: 9/28/2009 1:28pm et
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) suffered a rotator cuff injury in Week 3 and will have additional tests done Monday, Sept. 28, according to league sources. If Bulger suffered a torn rotator cuff, the injury could end his season.
The Huddle Take: If Bulger's season is over, then Steven Jackson's Fantasy value will likely take a hit as well. It's not as if Bulger is any sort of Fantasy stud or anything close to it, but the alternative is Kyle Boller. Enough said. This could be yet another potential landing point for Jeff Garcia should the Eagles cut him loose after Donovan McNabb's return.

The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams QB Marc Bulger (shoulder) suffered a bruised shoulder during the team's Week 3 game. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo said further evaluation would be needed before he would know if Bulger would miss any time.
The Huddle Take: Bulger will be evaluated on Monday to determine the extent of the injury and if he will miss any playing time. However, backup QB Kyle Boller came in to the contest to complete 16/31 passes for 164 yards. Boller also threw 2 touchdown passes and one interception but fantasy owners should not consider either
St. Louis quarterback worthy of starting at the present time.
