Indianapolis Colts WR Kamar Aiken has scored five of his six touchdowns in the red zone over the past two seasons.

Huddle Up: Aiken gives Andrew Luck a big target in the red zone, and he'll be in the mix for the third receiver spot with Phillip Dorsett. Aiken has some luster as a WR5 in fantasy.

Indianapolis Colts WR Kamar Aiken said he was told 'there was going to be open competition in the receiving room' when deciding to sign with the team.

Huddle Up: This indicates Aiken will have every opportunity to compete with the likes of former first-round draft pick Phillip Dorsett and Chester Rogers to be the No. 3 receiver in Indianapolis. The former Baltimore Raven blossomed during the 2015 season when pressed into action due to injuries, but was seemingly phased out of the offense this past year. He can be a valuable commodity in deeper formats if he has an active role in the Colts' high-powered offense.

Free-agent WR Kamar Aiken (Ravens) agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts, according to his agent, David Canter.

Huddle Up: Aiken had a 75-944-5 campaign in 2015, but he fell flat last season. He's still just 28 in May. There are enough weapons around him that he could develop a nice role worth a WR5 flyer in fantasy.

Free-agent WR Kamar Aiken (Ravens) is expected to sign with the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Two years ago, Aiken had a 75-944-5 campaign that expressed optimism for 2016. He fell flat last season, but he's still just 28 in May. There are enough weapons around him that he could develop a nice role worth a WR5 flyer in fantasy.

Baltimore Ravens WR Kamar Aiken probably will start at wide receiver in Week 7 if WR Steve Smith (ankle) is not able to play.

Huddle Up: Aiken has recorded only 92 receiving yards this season but did post 64 yards in Week 6. He should receive a decent amount of targets against the New York Jets, but owners should be able to find better options to use in their lineups.

Baltimore Ravens WR Kamar Aiken posted four receptions for a season-best 64 yards in the Week 6 game against the New York Giants. He was targeted six times.

Huddle Up: Aiken entered the game with just six grabs for 28 yards. He was used more frequently in this one with Steve Smith sideline again, but he is still only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy formats at this point. Fantasy owners in leagues of 14 or fewer teams need not bother with him.

Baltimore Ravens WR Kamar Aiken played 53 percent of the offensive snaps and 16 snaps on special teams in Week 1 after playing nearly 83 percent of offensive snaps and just 14 total snaps on special teams in 2015.

Huddle Up: Improved depth at the receiver spot will make it tough for Aiken to duplicate his 75-catch campaign from last season. The Browns represent a juicy matchup in Week 2, but Aiken is still a shot-in-the-dark play.

  • Posted: 8/18/2016 9:49pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WR Kamar Aiken had 25 catches for 333 yards in eight games with WR Steve Smith last year, and Aiken had 50 catches for 611 yards in the eight games Smith missed.

Huddle Up: Aiken is a popular fantasy sleeper, but if Smith and Breshad Perriman stay healthy, Aiken could struggle to make an impact. He is worth a late-round grab, but don't overpay.

  • Posted: 7/22/2016 1:44pm ET

Baltimore Ravens WRs Steve Smith and Mike Wallace are projected as the two starting wide receivers for Baltimore, according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.

Huddle Up: Aiken took advantage of injuries and absences to burst onto the scene with 75 catches for 944 yards and five TDs last season but now with Smith, Wallace and 2015 injured first-rounder Breshad Perriman all now in the mix, the Baltimore fantasy-WR picture suddenly has grown much cloudier.
